It might not substantially reduce the cost of governance but at least it will and over time will achieve that substantial reduction. Ideally, the mergers should result in terminating employment of redundant staff, but in order to put a human face, there was no retrenchment. But over time as retirement kicks in with no need for replacement, staff reduction and hence cost of governance will reduce.
We have a lawyer that is now been quoted as an expert in governance and economics giving his opinion as an arm chair analyst, and here he is been quoted and cited upanddown as an expert. That is Nigeria for you.
You are very sick in your head. You have the audacity to advertise criminal activity in the public domain. Definitely, you are from the land of the rising wailers.
PointZerom: There's nothing like showing courage here, it's his constitutional duty to do so. If not that corruption and Tribalism has killed Nigeria we won't bee praising any elected official for doing what he was elected to do.
Yes you are correct but has any of the previous presidents including your Jonathan have the courage to do it? It takes courage to go against the grain and that was what Ibori saw. Tinubu didn't have to do it but he did. And that is commendable
Nothing wey person no go see for this evil forest called a country [/quote
It's people like you and your wailing wailers from the land of rising wailers that makes the country an evil forest. The earlier you all leave, the better for the rest of us Nigerians.
nairalandkachy1: The Nigeria Labour Congress has commenced a two-day nationwide protest following economic hardship and the non-implementation of the agreement entered with the FG.
Despite a last minute effort by the FG to halt same, the NLC was adamant it will proceed with the rally.
Bunch of hired hands, wailing wailers and an extension of the PandoraObi Labor Party.
Malroux: He will rather import more cocaine than import food.
and Malroux, you and your people will rather sniff and after mixing it with powder, export the corrupted cocaine back to make fast quick money. Drugs, crime, polluted medicines are the trait of you and your people.
Goodlady: My throat was paining me. Went to the chemist last Friday to buy drugs. I was given one 3 in one to be used btw Friday n Saturday. I v exhausted it. Wanted to buy more today, its now N900. Beans that was N1500 last week is now N2K. Fish wey be N700 before is now N1200. Basic things wey I dey buy now cost. Na to go n marry a rich man remain now and least he go dey take care of me!
Which rich man will marry a complainer and a wailing wailers. Go and hustle sister instead of lying down in your belly marketing your wares. Bad market, no taker.
Seems it’s only weeping that will teach y’all how to vote right next time
I pray dollar hits 10k before end of 2024 make suffer choke una well well
Oga Arugba, it is only the usual wailing wailers from the land of the rising wailers that is recruiting wailers to their camp, and yiu have become an honorary member. So wail on boy!
Validated: Push and start presidency. You came into office at a time of economic downturn and created 48 ministries, highest ever in Nigeria existence. Thought you guys said it was required. Now, you are 9 months late.
I hear they have now resumed Fotex intervention. What we advised 9 months ago and they call us "Wailers". Now reverting to same after monumental damages have been done
Only in your dream chief Wailer. The policy - subsidy removal on petroleum and subsidizing the rich through bogus fixed exchange rate is gone for goo and not reverting. So you can increase your wailing and carry your village people along also.
Omanambala: I know these things already. Stop talking to yourself. The government is supposed to develop laws that protect her citizens from being exploited. Everyone knows this!
Since you know these things, then you are in agreement with what I said. Citizens are free to accept employment from companies and companies are free to hire potential employee. Both party can quit anytime with no question asked.
Scholace: you're truly ignorance. Go and read your Constitution and responsibilities of government to her citizens then come back here. Security of lives and properties, employment opportunities, welfare of the citizens et al are some of the responsibility of your government, which obviously they failed woefully
Oga Scholace, employment opportunities was not mentioned in the constitution. May be it is in your constitution but not definitely in the Nigeria constitution. Otherwise provide relevant citations and quote verbatim for us.
Omanambala: You are both ignorant and insensitive to the young man's plight. You want him to give up his life because your government who was supposed to provide him with decent employment failed him and now these wicked Chinese people are exploiting our African brothers. You need to see how stressful this jobs are. These Chinese employers work our people to death!
I had a close relative who was doing the same job some years back and they were paying him 8000 naira monthly for a 12 hours shift of which they are required to work 6 days a week. When he told me this I was so angry I wanted to send street boys to that factory and burn it down. To make matters worse, they added Sundays to their working days with same pay. I made him quit the job and started taking care of his financial needs.
The conditions these Chinese people employ our people to work in is nothing less than slavery. If I was a governor I will enact a law to protect my citizens health, pay rate. If my people had to work such inhuman hours then must pay them nothing less that 300,000 monthly or I close that slave camp. Our leaders are simply wicked
Let me correct your mindset, the government's responsibility is not to provide employment for her citizens. In any country, the government does not and the citizens do not expect not place a demand on the government to provide employment.
Gistmedia10: Watch as Nigerian women express their anger towards Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in this shocking video. The women are seen kneeling down, passionately cursing Yakubu for what they believe is his role in subverting the will of the people in a recent election.
The video, which has gone viral on social media, captures the raw emotion of the women who accuse Yakubu of taking away the rightful leadership from one candidate and handing it to another. This act has sparked outrage among many Nigerians, with calls for justice and accountability.
What you, the hired women and Obizombies failed to realize and know is that a curse without a cause shall not stand, but rather will go back to sender and inflict a hundred fold pain and agony on their generation
Rebuke: Can yhu prove this? Some of yhu enjoy being silly. So, it's Tinibu that didn't loot Lagos dry, that's why yhu voted him to become yhur president, abi?
Bunch of unrepentant miscreant!😐😐😐😐😐😐😐
Mr. Rebuke, can you mention what PandoraObi did while governor for 8-years? By the way, before using an adjective, fund out the meaning first.
When PandoraObi was the governor, did he do any better? He looted the State dry, no infrastructural development and no single industry for his entire 8-years.
This Babachal of a man still want to be relevant. He should go and join with Utomi to complete the five fingers of leprosy for that is where he belong.

For a change, someone is talking with brain and common sense. Instead of the Obizombies to hold their respective state governors responsible, they are fixated on the Federal government and Tinubu and the fact that their third class graduate candidate that came in third in an election was not declared the winner of a credible election.
Tinubu don already tell una say he’s not a consumer of statistics
The Olodo in chief of hunger forces has come to kill and destroy
The question you should ask yourself AqualinaXYZ is do you understand statistics and can you interpret it. Because your comment is senseless if only you understand statistics
Mumusaphire: and tell me any development that entered kwara since saraki left as governor. tell me any new company that entered kwara during these fatai and d current saddist as governor
And you Saraki doormat, tell me what your master - Saraki did during his 8-years in government
