joseph1832: Lolz. The traditional Rolex 904L rose gold chain gave it out. It's what is obtainable from his side I guess. It's actually bad flaunting a fake watch, you can get dissed for that... Ask AKA the South African rapper. So as an artist, the babe on your wrist draws or put people away from you. |
Fake Michael Koor. From where I come from that piece would be seized at first sight. Well Y.O.L.O |
It's a normal thing and a thing of joy. Just like when Rolex released the Rolex Skydweller and Seadweller timepiece people queued also at the Swiss HQ for it. And the price was around $40k So if you are a fan of any product or brand you can do anything to own it |
joseph1832: ![]() |
joseph1832: Thanks for conceding. ![]() |
joseph1832: Good, at least you're a bit better than Chelsea fans. Well another goal just entered.... How's it that your world most expensive supermodel is yet to kiss the net? ![]() |
joseph1832: Don't tell me you're a fan to the aforementioned? If you're, then I'm gonna put down your name on my very long list of haters ![]() |

Kaycee7:no mind am jare. I love animated/cartoon shirts. I have one Simpson and Riley Freeman's shirt made for me by my guy... each time I wear em someone must compliment me. I even had one made for my boss and his family as a bribe. ![]() |
Thank God they aren't dressed as bee bug. I dislike seeing them in that yellow and black sweater. |
Done! |
Another good one from Jigs! My brutal opinion. Lolz. First, I don't understand the word "Ds" . Secondly, I believe the change in secondary rhymes in your second verse is intentional. I also observed you wrote as if the event has occurred and yet you used present tense(s) notable in verse 2 & 3 (especially verse 2 line 3 & 4). Thirdly, I think there is a typo in verse 4 line 3, I guess you meant to write "brother" huh? Lastly, the poem depicts a heartbroken fella, lonely and depressed that his lover left him... But seeing her in hell is suicidal....... Oops! Yeah, before I self destruct..... I get it. Extra: I so much love your poetry collections on " Before I Self Destruct" and your writing style is dope and hood! ![]() |
joseph1832: Heheheheheheh. You too like woman. Kai!!! ![]() |
joseph1832:Walahi!!! These set of people aren't real Christians, they just want to cow you into their ways without bothering to understand other people. They just act like the Abuja Federal High Court judge and make pronouncement as if they are God. |
brightalo1010: Heheheheheheheh. So going contrary to your opinion has made me gay right? Your kinds are quite funny! Heheheheh. Yes, it is not you that gave the 14yrs penalty but your kinds did, and they acted based on your perceptions by criminalising the sexual consent of 2 adults as a crime subject to over a decade imprisonment. It's a good thing no one should preach to anyone about anything, can't we just live and let others live too? They didn't choose to be who they are just like you and I didn't choose to be straight, they too didn't choose to be gay. Kapish?!!! |
brightalo1010: Good. Then learn not to judge people based on your beliefs because it's not everybody that shares that belief of yours. Religion is suppose to teach you about tolerance but ya'll are all 'judgey' and condeming. Is that the love Christ talked and preached about? |
The Shot (The Damned) One shot and a boom awakened my dead fear, Bravery rolled down my cheek in a tear That is bedevilled with a loss I can't bear. From a mortar to a landmine, My platoon reduced to a meagre wounded nine Trapped in a theatre of shreds, One step, one boooom!!! Many deaths: Brothers sleeping on enemies deathbeds. I and the last nine made a daring retreat But found out it was a suicidal retreat, We were trapped in one of death's greatest cheat. With a heart, heavy and a sweaty palm I imagined how death couldn't be anyway calm, Must it really stare at us with no option? How daring! No sign, no caution. But we aren't going down with no action. For two days we waited on a single spot Under unfavourable weather both cold and hot, Picturing how our last fight would be fought. My bullets were all engraved with "Fucktards", Each for anyone of those _bastards It stings - my feet held tight to my booth So it wouldn't run when pain escapes from my tooth, Then in convoys they came like a weed without root. Dust glued the air and painted the cloud, Their coming was daring and loud Like a buzz from a soldier ant crowd. I smelt the flaring fragrance of their fury And felt the tinge of fear unknown to me. Suddenly, the air smelt different like a grave, Having dug plenty for my friends, the brave; I know. We sure aren't going to be saved. They stopped at about a kilometre away from us, We wondered why they paused, Are we that cursed? Don't we both deserve an honourable death? We're ready to be committed to mother earth. "Common you _fucktards!" we screamed. But they turned and left, it was like a dream. I guess they know we're dead already for real. It's just a matter of time we're blown for real. |
brightalo1010: Hmmmm... So because Christians see such practice as bad then everybody must therefore adhere to it? It's funny how Christians think that just because they're against a certain belief others must also be against it just because it was written in a holy book? I have nothing against Homos, I see them first as humans before anything. What's my concern with someone's sexual preference for me to judge them? |
To think that I grew up with that guy is something else. He was very quiet and peaceful when I was still sharing a hood with him. What changed him? Question of the wind. |
Poets or writers you mean? |
What a great piece of traditional poem! I love cultural and traditional poems like this because I learn from it. Welcome brother. ![]() |
llaykorn: Nah. I still write. Just too lazy to type. ![]() So you're partially back huh? |
llaykorn: The exaggeration and personification here is just interestingly horrific. ![]() Just highlighted my favourite lines. Great one Lake! (he's back!!! ) |
They're all mums. ![]() |
firestar: Firestar, Good day (longest time). Please can I get the link of such thread? How have you been? Missed ya'll. |
What about Area 1, Garki? Truth be told, walking on or around that bridge linking the famous Yar’Adua Centre and the National Mosque in the early hours of the morning or early evening is the most crazy of all. Finance bridge linking Wuse zone 7 and Wuse is another dark spot, no wonder people prefer to cross the expressway than use that pedestrian bridge. |

Jarus: That's true. Most of them benefit from the negativity being spewed on them as it help them sell their brands and in some cases they build their persona from it. Some of them enjoy being referred to as "controversial.... Bla bla bla." take Beverly Osu and Karen Igho of BBA for example, they're famous because of one controversy or the other and that made them celebrities. Truth is, becoming a celebrity comes with a price and they should be willing to pay a stone who make them can break them, that's why it is advisable that they live lives worthy of emulation. |
plaetton: That's not true. The female poets may not be that popular like the men, but there are quite a number of them. At least I have about 3 of them as friends on the most popular social media hub. But we are talking about poetry in Islam and not Islamic female poets. Just incase you're not satisfied with what I am saying and would want to argue further, here is a piece of poem by a Muslim lady, her name is Jenne Zaghloul (a Convert) and her poem is tagged "I am a Muslim Woman" I am a Muslim woman Feel free to ask me why When I walk, I walk with dignity When I speak I do not lie I am a Muslim woman Not all of me you'll see But what you should appreciate Is that the choice I make is free I'm not plagued with depression I'm neither cheated nor abused I don't envy other women And I'm certainly not confused Note, I speak perfect English Et un petit peu de Francais aussi I'm majoring in Linguistics So you need not speak slowly I run my own small business Every cent I earn is mine I drive my Chevy to school & work And no, that's not a crime! You often stare as I walk by You don't understand my veil But peace and power I have found As I am equal to any male! I am a Muslim woman So please don't pity me For God has guided me to truth And now I'm finally free! There are countless of them, just because you don't know one does not mean they don't exist. Even little Malana (I hope she forgives me for calling her that) writes and speak poetry (though I can't find any now, not as if all poetry are written). Lastly, the religion is not aversive, just that they are mostly conservative. Permit me to ask, have you listened to there songs or you are just basking on your perception about them? |
