..." a joke carried too far"... |
Who doesn't know. All one need do is compare Lagos streets pics with those of even places like Equatorial Guinea. A friend once said if he were to describe Lagos with one word, it 'll be chaos Is it not why we (they) say: if you have lived in Lagos, then you can live anywhere in the world. |
O_D_B: Nigerian army are just a bunch of bullies who have never engaged a standing army but only their citizens.Say something else...I have IT on good authority that before the ICJ decision the Cameroon gendarmes had an encounter with the Nigerian Army and they didn't find it funny. If there's anything the gendarmes fear presently it's the Nigerian army. If you doubt me cross over to the peninsula and ask a gendarme i.e if he was one of the lucky few that escaped the massacre i.e if anyone escape at all. Do you even know why they chose to go to the ICJ? |
Why do some love to hate? Whether he is boastful or not, Mourinho for now at the least remains the best. Sorry if I disappoint you, but I can't but recognize excellence when I found one! Some of us give ourselves nicknames we don't deserve and we are hailed by it without questioning...why then not Mourinho who more than deserves his 'the only one'. |
There's know need belabouring the issue. Anybody who wishes this away as a joke is equally joking! All these clamours for self rule WILL come to pass IF Nigeria refuses to restructure. Any good follower of history should know this...it always come to pass. |
...and who are they addressing?...the guilty Nigerian public?...this is a tale by a bokoidiot... Its the same old story of "the arrested person(s) is/are not our member(s)" only to break the prison to let them out. Doesn't he and his sponsors know that Nigerians are too intelligent for this? |
Okija_juju: Sadly it is what it is...That's the point..they've now all forgotten that Tinubu declared Nzeribe a persona non grata in Lagos because he call for Obasanjo's impeachment. |
"...the mainstay of the Nigerian economy before the discovery of Oil..." Wherever they get this from beats me...It's always annoying...documents prove that Nigeria practised true federalism until the discovery of oil! Why are these people so filled with lies? |
kingoflag: ...... and theres a time when the ignorant get consumed by their own folly....true there's a time for that too...such like converting to Islam to avoid being killed |
hornipipe: #Whistling..war?...my_dad once told me_that its_only those who haven't witnessed war pray 4 it!!...and I hear that those who are afraid of war are either consume by it or die in bondage! There's a time, let me tell you, when war becomes unavoidable. |
dedeike: This is what happens when a section of the country believes its their birth right to rule. Just because by divine providence Jonathan became president, some people in the north decided to blow up the whole country. They betrayed their sinister motives over the weekend by releasing a video calling for Jonathan's resignation. Isn't that madness?Counsel of the wise! |
...just thinking whether the Nigerian Police is the right body to alert the public if the story were indeed true. |
Korrection: Na wao...if these guys can stage a protest then they can do something with their hands other than begging.....nothing wey we no go see for this fast seperating cpountrySupported...but wait a minute, 90% of the beggars on the streets of Lagos aren't physically challenge. Most of them I'm told were actually born to beg...and you know were they come from - their chairman's name can help you out. |
Again Nigerians argue on the grounds of ignorance. If she says 56 and the reps say 34, who is right? Who has the statistics? I think that when it has to do with budget implementation the finance minister is more of an authority than the reps. However knowing what Nigeria is, for one to make a sound judgement, both have to make available the components of the budget they claim have been implemented for verification. Speaking based on what is before me I'll say the Minister's claim is based on releases made by her ministry and the reps claim an assumption. |
The only meaning I choose to read into this statement is the courage shown by the Nigerian entrepreneurs with all these impediments. It only goes to show how Nigerians will thrive given the right environment. Kudos to the Nigerian spirits! |
cheddarking: How so?You need not ask this if you've been watching opening ceremonies |
Rhino.5dm:London isn't hyped. Even the Brits know it is incomparable to Beijing. I was so disappointed! |
olasquare: the Brits av it....it was not only a spledour: it recorded one or two 1st' in d history of d olympicsDon't believe anyone in the world could say this. |
The most boring opening ceremony I ever watch! Did we really need those film episodes? Kudos to them all the same... at least they did great building a forest and all sort of stuff on the grounds. |
moderatorr: you don't get it, Mohammed Ali is thn world's greatest! We Know...but his appearance only serves to remind people of what being the world's greatest can do to you. It was a sight I pray not to remember. |
South Africa...that boy is a girl. Oh sorry, that girl is surely a boy. ![]() |
The saintly countries are here too ![]() |
Just as I expected! It's a funeral. One thing is certain: the Brits 'll never entertain you! |
Threaten? I would rather they said "vowed to reclaim their land". You threaten only when someone is at your mercy or at least the cards are in your hands. As it is I'm at a loss what the FG stand to lose if the go back. Wisdom should impress on them that if while here they are not cared for, then who 'll give a damn while they are being mowed by the Cameroonian gendarmes. |
Of course whenever we fail in the pursuit of our goals we are always disappointed. Oshiomhole's victory is positive in so many ways. Still a lesson for those who abuse responsibilities entrusted on them. |
For your mind Liar Anyway who "gives a damn" |
The tide is still against Farouk Lawan. What will he tell us this time. This is the type of cases in foreign lands where lawyers would advise the accused to plead guilty...but in Nigeria... ![]() |
Ileke-IdI:The guy has always deny it from day one. He's only denying it now in the presence of the police. |
I keep saying it that in Nigeria elections are not won by performance alone. Oshiomhole should watch out 'cos if the PDP whip up enough ethnic sentiment he may not be returned. I won't be surprise if he is upstaged. |
...waiting. |
