mormoni: These are wounds from the leg of a fisherman brought to our clinic after engaging in a fight with a very big hippo. According to our patient, the hippo attacked and destroyed their boat. He engaged in a fight with the hippo for over 30 minutes b4 finally escaping. I will upload pix of the wounds b4 and after surgery. The surgical procedure is called debridement (surgical removal of dead tissues and foreign bodies).
According to my chief consultant, a bite from a hippo is more poisonous than a snake's bite. With all that infection, can the leg be saved? |

I can't recall ever learning how to drive. I used to wash my dad's car and just took it out one early morning without his knowledge. It was while attempting to drive back into the compound that I almost brushed the thing against the gate. After that it was smooth sailing. My next trip was to drive to villa. I was 16 then. I don't even know why people find driving difficult. By the way OP, I know the L-sign stands for Lunatic. |

sunnytrex1: The most expensive iPhone 6 is out and it is currently on sale for £2.3m which is approximately, N790m when changed to our currency. The case is plated in 24-carat gold and it is encrusted with more than 700 diamonds, which makes it unique and special. Usain Bolt, David Beckham and music producer P Diddy already have one. Trust Naija to push the envelop when it comes to insane spending. Alex Amosu, repping all the way from the UK. |

When I was in 1st yr (UniZik Temp site), a plate of Akpu with soup was N20. Extra plate N10. So my regular order then was Akpu with Egusi and draw soup. It got to a point that I didn't have to say anything whenever I came. I'd just fall in and be like "Madam biko ti nye re 'm nri" and she'd already know what to do. It's a miraculous wonder I didn't suffer Kwashiorkwor. My tummy also obeyed Hooke's law cos no matter what happened I'd always order for extra. Unfailingly. My stomach's elastic limit was not yet exceeded. But after eating, the tummy would still remain as flat as an Almajiri's slate. Person dey grow sha. P.S. There's also the 'window shoppers'. Those who'd price everything down to the pure water ("make e no be say cold one now na N10" and press calculator finish before making their order. They'd be like "em madam good morning o. Abeg ur rice na how much? Ah. N200? Half plate nko? What of with 1 meat? Without meat nko? Ok. Abeg put half rice, half beans and 2 plantain." Then because they know the woman has never served fish before, they'll use that as an excuse. No dulling: "U get fish? What of liver? Ohh. Why na? Abeg no put meat. Na fish I for like now. I dey do lent". Whereas it's just February O! Some dudes sef. |

holicalpha: You rejected the car because you want good governance.? How does rejecting the car make Nigeria better.? How does it help the poor, it would have made sense if you accept the gift, sell it and donate the money to an orphanage.
You rejected the gift but couldn't reject the position as Mr B running mate last election..
If you really want to make the world/Nigeria a better place please contribute and help the masses.. I know many people say trash about T.B Joshua but He is still a man of God i respect til date unlike some people desparetly vying for political position.
----------- Valar Moghulis That is where you got it wrong. Accepting the gift is by extension, an endorsement of the crass worship of materialism that we see practised almost everywhere in the country these days, including so many churches. Just like the first commenter @Johnnyessence rightly pointed out. When Nigeria gets better , members of churches will no longer think of such mundane thing as presenting gifts of jets and exotic cars to their pastors. Such an action is a reflection of a decadent society worshipping on the altar of materialism, wastage and misplaced priority mistaken for prosperity! Many thanks Pastor! |
