US is one of the biggest frauds in terms of fleecing visa applicants. They have never had a structure that is known by anyone on how they approve visas or what qualifies you for a visa. Everything is in secrecy.

I finally applied for my visa some days ago.

New update: you can apply for visa at least 3 months to the start of your program. To avoid confusion and visiting the embassy several times. Start early and follow the threads on this topic from page 1. It is very helpful.

Visa fee - N24,800 (make sure you go with the exact amount) they don’t usually have change in the embassy.

Concerning insurance... AIICO is not the only acceptable Insurance company. If you ask me, it’s a little too expensive. Allianz is quite cheap and the embassy accepts their insurance.

But I'm sure there are more black ghetto neighborhoods than a rich black neighborhood in the US.

Well I'm sure one would find a black communities doing well in the greater London since that's where they mostly are, but I doubt they would be more than 2-3, I can't tell.

Exactly, our interest is quite different. And every countries has it's advantages and disadvantages. For example, if you feel gun ownership or low taxes is important to you, then USA is the place for you and if you feel concerned about healthcare for the extremely poor, then Europe is definitely for you. Okay I respect your opinion but I wouldn't start the countries I'll love to migrate to with USA. And as for the queue at their embassy, does this also applies to the USA embassies in other countries? NO. someone in this forum who lives in Japan once said he met less than 15 people at the USA embassy in Japan when he went for his interview.

I just think some Nigerians don't have awareness about some other facts, they only want to improve their standard of life and they believe that it can be achieve in the US within few months.
