Car Talk › Re: Over Speeding Is The Major Cause Of Accidents In Nigeria? by tit(f): 4:45pm On Feb 22, 2012
Jobfront,
Not really. Overspeeding does contribute to severity of accidents but lots of people have died in crashes that occured at less than 80km an hour.
a speed regulating device would help but that would remove the option of speeding up in the once in a blue moon situation when you need to speed out of danger.

On a general note, the FRSC has to do a better job of regulating commercial transport. For a country like nigeria where alcohol is sold in motor parks, i shall be glad to hear that FRSC has mandated periodic drug/alcohol tests as a requirement for renewal of CDLs. especially for commuter buses and big trucks.
osita dioka has been a failure wrt to engaging the main tool in this carnage on our roads : the commercial/professional driver.

Horrible!!!

The policeman had the chance to cheat death but acted very stupidly. I noticed that the metal detector in his hand made a beeping sound thats when he should have run away immediately that way he should have survived but he was trying to dismantle a suspected bomb without any form of protective clothing very silly.

I suspect that the man that filmed this video, was the same person that detonated the bomb. Notice the way the camera shifted upward b4 the explosion, so that he could detonated the bomb this is so sad. death to boko haram!!!

OMAI,
YOU ARE brave.
i cannot watch any nonesense. once i saw his outfit and the way he was handling the bag, i had had enough.
i shall not, for no profit, upset myself deliberately anymore.

dare2think:
Valid question.

What is happening to the security budgets?

Two groups killed that policeman;

1. Boko-haram
2. The Corrupt Nigerian Government
i beg to disagree.
the young man killed himself.
was he forced to approached the bag with only his khaki?
he no get brain?
did he not ask himself what are the possible outcomes of this my venture? what will happen to my children? is it not better we all pull back and give the bag a few rounds of my 47?

what were they trying to prove by defusing the bomb?
did they want to get fingerprints or what?
Politics › Re: Clinton: Poverty Helping Fuel Violence In Nigeria by tit(f): 4:22pm On Feb 15, 2012
I agree with clinton.
Let us in the spirit of brotherhood give every able bodied man in Borno
20 pounds or the equivalent.
Politics › Re: Sgt Sunday Badang Died In The Bomb Blast At Ungwar Sarki In Kaduna by tit(f): 4:19pm On Feb 15, 2012
i tried watching the video.
i stopped when i saw the mofo approaching the bomb without body armour, not even a helmet and face protection, and the crowd was cheering.

either darwin is right or he committed suicide.
Politics › Re: Faced With Severe Criticism, Sanusi To Donate To Christmas Day Bomb Victims by tit(f): 1:06pm On Feb 15, 2012
UP SANUSI!!!
the madalla victims are waiting for him now.
he should not come with less than 1 billion naira to make up for his lapses.
then we go hail am!!
and if he wants to be CBN gov for life, we go dey him back.
Politics › Re: Sanusi's CBN Performance: Soludo Was Better After All? by tit(f): 7:54pm On Feb 14, 2012
Dis Guy:
how much funds was created for agriculture, manufacturing and SME under Soludo, we know how much was created for the oil n gas traders n stock market speculators

how much was for the real economy, creating shaky banking jobs with mini skirt marketers is not sustainable job creation
at least he created something.
what has sanusi created?
where are burkha wearing real sector jobs?
what has his funds for agriculture, manufacturing and SME done for us lately?

the maxim is old, but very true : LEAD, FOLLOW OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!
soludo followed.
Politics › Re: Sanusi's CBN Performance: Soludo Was Better After All? by tit(f): 5:42pm On Feb 14, 2012
i hate to have to 'defend' soludo,
but i cannot remember him throwing decorum to the winds and dining with killers and stealers.
he never brazenly donated money to mend, bh, massob or opc.
the free market requires everybody trying to better their lives within the ambits of the law.
soludo never tried to impede this noble objective.
Politics › Re: 15 Die As Rainstorm Wreaks Havoc In Lagos by tit(f): 3:52pm On Feb 14, 2012
74MILES PER HOUR! WINDS!!!

And schools were allowed to stay open!!!!
This is a big failure on the part of NIMET.
Why do we budget money for you to monitor the weather!!!
The chief executive of Nimet should have contacted the governors of all the states 'to be affected', warned them of the consequences of such winds.
If he felt they were not responsive to his warnings, he should have gone on tv to warn the public directly. he should have contacted principals and headmasters/mistresses, harbour masters directly.
as it stands, he does not merit the salary he is paid at the end of the month and he would have to answer for those kids who were on the way to school while a hurricane was heading their way!

Politics › Re: Do not allow the 20 Fuel Protestors Death to be in vain !! by tit(f): 5:04pm On Jan 17, 2012
GenBuhari,
why are you still alive?
why did you not also make the ultimate sacrifice like the 20?
did you not go out into the streets?
or did you cower at the back
while sending the innocent forward to their doom?

and more importantly,
are you looking for more innocents to kill?
why dont you give them a shining example?
yes, go out and commit suicide by mopol.
like you and nlc/tuc have made the 20 do!
Politics › Re: Max Gbanite And CBN Governor Sanusi On Channels TV - Live by tit(f): 4:41pm On Jan 12, 2012
assuming 65naira/litre pms is not sustainable:

BEJ today reverts back to 65naira/litre, with a timetable:

end of february, pms is 75naira/litre

end of march, pms is 90naira/litre

end of april, pms is 110naira/litre
,

What will we have?
did you say endless chaos?
hoarding by the marketers while waiting for the higher price to set in?
fuel scarcity?

Better to take the medicine at a go.

which refinery did buhari build?
buhari did not build half a refinery!
next we shall hear a brickie claim he built the 3rd mainland bridge.
buhari only legacy as head of state, is truncating democracy and selective incarceration and persecution.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Are Our Christian Leaders Quiet On This Fuel Subsidy Issue? by tit(f): 4:24pm On Jan 07, 2012
why should we single out 'christian' leaders for criticism over govt policy?
what makes some of you think all chistian 'leaders' voted for GEJ?
what of muslim leaders?
are some of them not pdp members? did some of them not vote for GEJ?

the amount of cyber warfare going on is getting alarming.
i doubt the starter of this thread 'pastor kun' is a christian.

be as gentle as a dove, and as wise as a serpent.

i would say budget about 5 months income.
i guess you are working class, have been saving up for this once-in-a-lifetime event.
then spending that much money can be excused.
(if you divorce and subsequently call us for another wedding, we shall send our regrets).

nobody should tell you to spend either 50,000naira or 50million naira.
we no know yar level.

the sage, awolowo, personally drafted the nigerian petroleum act of 1969.
i wonder why he does not get praise for that singular, farsighted action.

anybody who has an unaccounted loved one can go there and mourn.
Politics › Re: Fashola Calls For Increased Vigilance by tit(f): 4:26pm On Dec 29, 2011
fashola wants to breakup nigeria!
why is he pointing fingers at boko haram
when boko haram is not interested in lagos.
moreover, some of the bomb blasts have been proven to be the handiwork of shady characters.

i wonder if the puppet is pulling some strings.
