Apart from actual need for dollars for good that are not manufactured or difficult to manufacture in Nigeria, the following is why Naira is on a steady fall.

Too much money in the hands of politicians.
Devaluation and floating of the Naira has led to the lost in confidence of the naira- no body wants to store money in the local currency
Too many corrupt persons.
Root in the Nigerian Infrastructure-- schools, health.
Too much quest for European life style.
Many politician dependents leaving abroad as the expense of Nigerian sponsors.

With all this, the quest for dollar will always be on the rise and cannot be tamed.

Are you still calling Buhari? Tinubu should just fix the mess he has created. He wanted to please the west, now he is stuck on what to do. This whole problem started with the floating of currency, you can not float the dollar when you are importing more than you are exporting. even Buhari refused to further devalue the naira when he realized himself....... What is happening to Naira is lost of Confidence in Naira, so everyone wants dollar at any cost.

Diesel deregulation is what buhari use to destroy business and productivity.

Many businesses and factories collapsed. Radio and tv station closes by 6-9pm because they could no longer run on diesel. Hotels hijack price. Food items went above the ceiling.

Buhari went further to destroy kerosene. The saving grace was gas. He still went further to destroy gas which cause great suffering and hardship to most household.

Tinubu came in and destroy petrol. Imagine enugu to lagos is 25k-30k how much is minimum wages? From lagos to adamawa you should be budgeting 70k. Transport of 300 - 400 went up to 1k and above. School fees doubles and expenses tripled

My Brother take the job and stay back home, I have lived abroad is not so rosy and easy out there.
In a matter of time your pay would increase and you can visit any part of the world. Mind you there are homeless people even in US and UK.

The bills are not cheap, those there will tell you but you think they dont want you over.
