hey my man. wassup
presentations? thats my AOC. when i was in consulting, i facilitated a lot of training sessions and ive gone beyond the petty stage fright.
lemme share one experience with u

when i started working in the consulting firm in 2006, my first engagement was in Asaba. Then we were supposed to have a strategy retreat with the commissioners and the directors in the ministry. the present guvnor came in as the sec. to d state Guvnor. my boss from our S.Africa ofice took the first day and the 2nd day. then the 3rd day was meant to be how to teach these people quality control and management tools; thts how my oga backed out that he was not ready to teach those tools.

on the blessed day, i climbed the stage ready to start presenting
then one voice from the back said, "who be this boi" they protested that how one small boi from nowhere go come stand in front of commisioners. the whole thing was settled and the stage was set for me to teach

kai!! i forgot everything i studied the night b4 cos of the initial gra gra. i stood there looking sideways, sweating profusely and not saying anything. i got my voice back like 35mins after and i started to talk. i was shocked cos the people that were hostile initially started encouraging me. somebody said, "c'mon u can do it, speak up". all i know is that, it was a success cos they said they gained a lot

eversince then, its being smooth anytime i present. now i be pro sef grin

~get on stage and start hitting the nail on d end.
~adopt the pavorrotti stand (not sure of the spelling) with hands opened
~engage the audience to calm ur nerves
~modulate ur voice
~maintain some eye contacts with the audience
~ur hand gestures should be swift and cool (just like Clinton and Obama) grin
~study the slides very well so ur transition wouldnt be haphazard
~look from ur laptop and not from the projection
~ talk ur way to stardom grin grin

this is not in any particular order o.

nyways, best of luck
why do u call me egbon? i started working 2005 and i'll clock 4 years working by August and i aint 30 yet

Jon
please, send some puff puff to me o grin

people, have a nice day at work
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by tkb417(m): 12:23pm On Jan 29, 2009
Gooners have to be realistic:

Cesc has been absent - and we CANNOT really play without him - sad but true. For us to have scraped the kind of points we have, and to have gone on our best run of the season (9 games unbeaten) should not be discountenanced.

Yes MU have gone 11 games without conceding. Yes Villa has won 6 away games on the trot. But Liverpool with a virtually completely fit side has failed to win in the league for 3 games straight. Apart from Villa, West Ham and Utd, we've copped more points in the last 6 games than anyone else in the league - all this without our best player.
Form-wise, Everton has been as good as Arsenal, I am not surprised it was a draw in the end.

I'm not saying our performance is good enough by any means, AW has certainly gambled and it has backfired. But we have improved over where we were a few weeks back. The job is by no means done, and we have to improve further in the last 15 games.

Arsene is doing something to strengthen - paying (or attempting to pay) £15m for any player by AW shows you he KNOWS something needs to be done. Let the window close before we get futher worked up.

Enough of the hand wringing - we need to get behind this side. They can STILL deliver a trophy this season, despite all the problems. I remain confident of that.

Gunner 1965
you have started again this man
wake up and smell the coffee. you are 5 points behind Villa not UTD.
ure making excuses cos Cesc has not been playing, it may interest you to know that UTD just played 11 games without conceding a goal without some of those that played the UCL final. Hargo, RIO, Evra (sometimes) and Brown.
Playing without ur best player shouldnt translate into moving down the ladder and if moving down the ladder is as a result of not having a robust squad, then blame the gaffer for being in that situation.

wenger is a pillock!!

Dayo has been arrested for child molestation. Hes awaiting trial in Texas.
Hes got a good lawyer tho. i hope he survives this.

hes allowed to use the internet once per day. he'll come out strong
he needs all our prayers. sad

The way we tend to rubbish oshea on this thread baffles me a lot. fine, the guy may not be top class but he has always be useful to manu cause.
remeber 2006/2007 when our revival in premiership started, which true manu fan will ever forget the match against liverpool at anfield, with
scholes already sent off, oshea from no where surfaced in box six to score the only goal that won the match for us.
What about against everton in the same season, we were down by two goals, he scored the first goal that kick-started our come back and we eventually won the match 4-2 but the importance of that win shud be measured againt the fact that chelsea was seriously closing on us.
Some people could say i am talking in the past, what about the stiker-like-goal he scored in the carling cup againt derby. He also filled in commendably for evra when he was suspended for 4 matches and since his injury started. His veratility for us is unequal ,right-back, left back,centre-back, mid-field, centre half not forgeting his goal-keeping heroics againt t'tham.
He may not be a ronaldo, he has had couple of bad games but for heaven sake the guy he is not o-shit.
what about the lone goal against Liverpool at Anfield.
Hes a good squad player but he can be dumb sometimes

Yesterday was fun for me and a lil fulfilling.

Yesterday was fun cos I got some positive responses from some prospective clients. The weather helped matters too. It wasn't too hot neither was it too cold.

I will stop here for now hoping today will still pick up
