Romance / Re: When A Wife Or Girlfriend Sleeps With Your Brother. by tobeymichael16(m): 6:22pm On Oct 13, 2021
No you did nothing wrong. Your girl should chill.
Martinelli35:
Although this did not happen to me, but it brought a very heated argument between i and my fiancée.

I saw a video on Instagram where a man caught his younger brother sleeping with his wife. He saw them but they did not see him, he pretended he did not see anything.

A few days later he told his wife that he wanted to surprise her with a gift and told his brother to help him out, he said he wanted it to be a surprise and so he tied up his wife’s eyes with a cloth and then also told his brother he had a surprise for him too, that one also had is eyes tied up.

He then took them both downstairs and gave them both empty cartons to hold. On one side of the carton he gave his wife he wrote “she cheated on me” and on the other side was the caption “with my brother”. She was very excited at the expected gift and was smiling throughout and giddy with anticipation, meanwhile oga was filming the whole drama.

On his Brother’s carton he wrote “my brother slept with my wife”, of course he was blindfolded and didn’t know what was written or the fact he was been exposed and humiliated to the world. Oga now gathered her jewelry, makeups and other stuffs and started putting into the cartoon. Madam was jumping up and down thinking of how many and heavy the gifts were. At the same time oga had carried all his wife’s property and thrown on the road while videoing the whole scenario play out. I leave you to imagine the shock and humiliation on there faces when the blindfold came off.

Now this brings me to my own scenario. Now I love my fiancée very much and as is customary of me, I send her funny videos I see online. We laugh about it and all. So I sent her the aforementioned video and she laughed and then got serious and asked that if I was the Husband what would have been my reaction, I told her that I won’t be violent, but that would be the end of the marriage. I would be done and I would never forgive her, but that after time must have passed, I would eventually forgive my brother. That is where issue escalated o. She said that would be very unfair of me, that they both deserve equal punishment, I told her that he is my family by virtue of blood and that can never change, though he betrayed me, but we remain family and I won’t want my parents go through the agony of seeing there children apart. But that my wife only became family by virtue of the trust we have towards each other and that once that is gone, nothing holds us together, besides I won’t be able to stay together in the same house again with her.

She just started ranting that it means I would choose my family over her and that I won’t treat her equally and that what am saying says a lot about me and she got really pissed at me. She took it really personally.

My question is, did I do anything wrong? Is my assertion a totally reprehensible one one devoid of logic? Or am I being unfair?

Female boss are the easiest personality to deal with. It's not about them, it is about you.

When dealing with a female boss, one thing you need to master is your emotions. Forget your ego and stoop to conquer. Make sure you always compliment them. Anytime she make a decision, flatter her and say you look up to her. Bingo! You're starting to getting her fall into your trap. She will start thinking about you. Don't stop there, buy her gifts. Compliment her. Make sure you know more about her. Make her a friend. Be interested in her like a family. But never lose yourself. Be professional in your work. Watch as events unfold and she will be fond of you.

I'm a corper currently teaching in a private school. The pay is very meagre. It is not easy to be a teacher, but you'd enjoy it eventually, because you will also learn a great deal.
safesurfer:
I recently applied for a teaching job recently within my local government and they promised to get back to me. It's a secondary school and I would be teaching biology and a yet to be known subject. Pay is 25k per month.

I just wanna know what teaching job is like as this would be my first time teaching.

Dress force is the best remedy for bedbugs. Just mix with water or snipper.
Textra:
Please, bed bug is actually one of my greatest fear growing up. I can't just imagine having it in my room back then due to people experiences... The shame, if it follows me outside. Lo, and behold, I can't really say how it got it into my room. My fear has turn to reality now... I rented a room, clean it bought everything new, and after a year I allowed a friend to stay with me, whether it was from him or I got it somewhere else I don't know, but i am dying inside seeing it, I have tried all that I know... Killing it alone makes me wanna vomit... Please, what should I do, to eradicate this enemy.

Business / Re: Did The Attitude Of People Towards You Change When You Became Rich? by tobeymichael16(m): 5:32am On Aug 18, 2021
Well written
Kokaine:

Most times when we pray for success, we dont remember to pray against the challenges that come with it.

The most notable of these challenges are feeling of entitlement and envy from friends

The feeling of entitlement is what makes people get angry with you when you do not give them their demands. They come to you for their every needs even up to house rents. And they never understand when you say you dont have. They pick offenses and hold you in contempt.

Envy is something you get surprised with. Its so complex that even the people who have always gorged you on and encouraged you on your chosen path, suddenly get sad when you actually win. They show you everyday how they want to see you win, but suddenly get sad when you actually win. It confuses you, it makes you loose friends and make your heart sink. It makes you value your new circumstances less. Some will actually come to you to say things like this. " kokaine, I'm sorry oh... This is a personal question i want to ask you, how much are you worth, like... Net worth. Account, properties and crypto? What's your net worth "?

A question like that coning from a friend is quite confusing. But you find it safer to downplay everything. To prove to them that you're still human and you still cry over other losses they may not be aware of. Even a song by lucky dube says " behind the mask of a clown lies a trail of tears." They may be seeing what you have physically, but not know what morbid pain you experience from a failed relationship for instance. Or knowing that you can never really tell if your partner loves you. There may be one thing or the other you are striving for. All they see is what you have and use you as a standard for measuring happiness. Some can't wait to see you cry just to console themselves that the rich also cry.

Some praise you endlessly when they dont mean it.

Its quite a wild and wooly world out there. My advice is: if you suddenly advance in your financial circumstances, learn to hide. Learn to maintain a lowkey. Learn not to show off or tell people who shouldn't know. So it doesn't become a challenge to them and make them ungrateful to God for what they have. The evil eye is real. Pray and go lowkey. You will enjoy it more unknown than when you become popular

Well said.

The people.

They are resilient, persistent, hardworking and driven with a sense of humor second to none. They can make a joke of anything and everything.

I love the sense of community. The unsolicited concern about others welfare, especially in rural communities. It's your unwritten duty to check if your neighbor has returned from journey or not...or if it is actually mama Titi that's making the sound from her compound.

Family's got your back too. You can be completely jobless for months and still have a roof over your head and food to eat...no matter how little.

Need money to start business? The family contributes, no matter how little. In anything you do or face in life, you're not just doing so alone.

In summary, the harsh, cold, I-don't-owe-you-shit way of life perculiar to the west does not hold here. Over there, relationship of any form is purely transactional. you're all alone against the harsh realities of life...no matter how many neighbours or family members arround you.

Sadly though, we're losing this priceless feature every single day, and i fear we'll soon become hollowed, empty, cold and souless like them.
Romance / Re: Who Is A Narcissist And How Are You Sure You Are Not Dating Or About To Date One by tobeymichael16(m): 9:58pm On Aug 05, 2021
abbey621:
Here's a shocker, majority of humans in this world are narcissists. It is one of the core traits of being human, let no one tell you otherwise! In life everything must be looked at in terms of severity, we all have that dark side but majority of us are fortunate to have anchors that limits that darkness. Behavioral analysis of the human psyche is a controversial yet often misguided journey, what you call narcissistic, another will call assertive or leadership. For example in the business world, the best and most successful business moguls are by definition narcissist, they are obssessed with their craft and often will break your heart if you don't have a thick skin. In relationships, if you are dating a man or married to a man that basically does everything for you then naturally you've given him the power of a narcissist, same goes for guys who can't cook, sleep or think properly without their girlfriend/wife.

It's part of life and it is completely unavoidable, the real question here is this, how does one narcisst maintain a relationship with another narcisst? Think about it, unless you don't have an emotional connection with your partner, how do you resist the urge to have a say in how they dress, eat, mingle etc? Your woman did hair, makeup and you didn't even notice due to hectic work schedule, do you call her a narcissist for having emotional tantrum or getting upset? You are broke and could not fulfill a promise to your wife so you bone face and start a fight just to avoid that promise, are you a narcissist? It's one thing to throw around fancy words and use theories, it's another to actually view things in practical/real life.
Romance / Re: My Relationship Is About To Hit The Rock, Pls Advice , by tobeymichael16(m): 6:04am On Jul 18, 2021
You are a wise man. I love this write up.
iLegendd:

Below is the part 2.

I want to tell you (men) something no one will tell you about dating...

There is nothing like "phone privacy" in relationship.

Don't date a woman who refuses you access to her phone at any time you want — only be her friend-with-benefit and don't ever invest emotion in the friendship.

It's an open relationship the moment she refuses you access to her phone. Something is fishy.

For her not to allow you access to her phone, she is either cheating on her main boyfriend with you or she's cheating on you, the supposed main boyfriend, with a cooler guy in the block or her ex.

Though, she may not have had sex with him yet, but they'll get to that soon, so she's hiding the buildup from you before you you catch her halfway.

Sometimes, it may be multiple admirers she doesn't want to sleep with, but extort.

Since the conversation she's having with them sounds like she likes them, she doesn't want you to come across them and think she's cheating. No, she hasn't cheated with him/them, but faking to love him to extort him.

Any woman who can do this is a scammer and scamming is cheating. What if she scams the wrong guy and he rapes her when he realizes she's playing games with him? So, trying to scam another man while dating you is cheating.

Or, she isn't cheating, but she doesn't want you to read her old chats with her female bestie and see all the nasty things they did or talked about in the past or present.

So, the moment

1. ...she refuses you having access to her phone chat, she's cheated, cheating, or will soon cheat

2. ...she deletes her messages after reading, she's cheated, cheating, or will soon cheat

3. ...she has too more than 2 SIMs, but you don't know about the rest of her SIMs, she's cheated, cheating, or will soon cheat

4. ...she causes drama, disrespectful, nags, and threatens to leave, she's cheated, cheating, or will soon cheat

The main purpose of this post is: the moment she doesn't allow you access to her phone, she is scared of something and it is one of the below

1. She has cheated (doesn't want you to find out)

2. She's currently cheating (doesn't want you to find out)

3. She'll soon cheat (doesn't want you to find out)

4. She isn't cheating, but there is a confidential information she doesn't want you to see and this may be a health issue, family issue, business deal, a dangerous or embarrassing situation she's in, or any other thing she doesn't feel comfortable showing you

As a man, be wise enough to make sure she's only your friend-with-benefit, not your girlfriend and use condom when you want to have sex with her.

Who knows, she's probably not your girlfriend, but another man's girlfriend who wants to cheat on her main boyfriend with you.

When going into a new relationship with a woman, go into it as if she's cheating on her main boyfriend with you — not as if you've got yourself a new girlfriend.

Your mission is to take your share of the pussy (if that's what you want) then silently investigate who her main man is.

This way, you won't see her as cheating on you when you accidentally read her chats with her main boyfriend as her cheating on you with the man.

This will help you not to experience heartbreak, but pride. It'll be like: "Oh, she cheated on that man with me, so I must be better than the man in her eyes," instead of, "Oh, she cheated on me with that man — he must be better than me in her eyes." And boom, you become depressed and heartbroken.

Save yourself from heartbreak by

1. Having strategies and
2. Principles

Failure to do this, you'll end up being heartbroken several times and end up hating innocent women who actually cheated on their boyfriends with you and not the other way round.

It's only the other way round if she calls him her ex, then goes back to sleep with him behind your back.

As I have said, have principles and strategies (even if you're not the most handsome or richest), else you'll regularly be creating heartbreak threads on Nairaland and we'll all laugh at you as we do to so many men on Nairaland front-page.

Be wise and don't let any woman you wish to marry hide her phone from you. The moment she does, take her out of "I want to marry her," group and put her in, "F*ck and go," group.

A word is enough for the wise. Unfortunately, some men have been rejected by women to the point they've lost their self-esteem, so when they manage to get a pretty women, they end up putting up with all her bad behaviors and secrecy.

Please, don't be that man. Even if women have rejected you all your life, don't lose your self-worth and settle for less — someone who will cheat on you, hide things from you, and do what she likes while being your girlfriend or wife.

Don't die before your time through heartbreak and depression. Prevent it now by having principles and strategies.

Cut off anything that'll lead you to heartbreak or depression early on.

Delay is dangerous. A bad woman never changes — it can only get worse after one month or two of pretending to have changed. A bad man can change, but a bad woman doesn't change totally.

I still like women more than I like men, but I don't side them in their evil doings — neither do I side men.

Be wise, and be ready for the journey ahead. Life is a cruise — catch it with a ship or a canoe — it's your choice.

0p How can a become a sale force admin?
Remitush:
There are several clubs and rooms in clubhouse app you can learn a lot and even pitch your ideas if you think you have a sound idea.

To pitch your idea as a Nigerian to investors abroad is nearly impossible. Those who have been lucky so far are very very few and they go through rigorous process. Most times some countries are flagged and priorities are given to western countries.

In club house app, you get to speak to these investors and even connect with them freely.

Just make sure your idea is very sound, because a lot of people will be listening. Don't go and embarrass yourself.

Also, there are other room and clubs that I have found very interesting.

There is a club that focus on careers in tech and Remote opportunities for unpopular Tech Jobs that companies are looking for and willing to pay more.

This club talks about all the tech jobs that most people have refused to look into. Because everyone is talking about javascript or data analytics everybody's attention is on it. But what everyone fails to realise is, there are other roles too that even pay more than these popular ones and the reason they pay higher is cos there are very few people qualified for it.

So while you are looking at switching careers, know that regardless of your educational background, anyone can break into tech and get a very decent pay if they have the right information and mentor.

I currently work remotely as a Salesforce administrator. Got this job on indeed.com right after I received my training from a tech mentor whom I connect with at the NGO I was formerly working. She also runs the club (link already shared) on clubhouse.

One thing I can say is there is a huge difference between watching tutorial videos on YouTube or website and having a mentor guide you through a path.
