peteruuu:A senator of the federal republic of Nigeria raise a fundamental issue bordering on the excessive borrowing of this administration and all you have to say is 'i Pity him'. Obasanjo succeeded in negotiating Nigeria out of her debt and Buhari is bent on plunging the future generation into debt and slavery. Quite Pathetic. the major problems in this country is that our reasonings are clouded with primordial and religious factors. That's is why Nigeria will continue to struggle until we support and do the right thing no matter who is involved. Nigeria’s external debt rises by $11.77bn in three years – DMO According to debt statistics obtained from the Debt Management Office, the country’s external debt rose from $10.32bn in June 30, 2015 to $22.08bn as of June 30 2018. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/nigeria-external-debt-dmo.html And Buhari want to borrow another $12b. nawa oo |

They suddenly found their voice. INEC couldn't utter such threat because PMB was involved. The fear of DSS,EFCC, The Nigerian Police and Nigerian Army made Mahmood Yakubu declare the most fraudulent election result since 1960 |
espn:Its nonsense because the secret of the bogus figures given to PMB will soon be blown open. INEC must make available the materials used for the election for inspection or the election will be cancel outrightly. www.dailymailonline.com.ng/2019/03/07/exclusive-fear-of-presidential-election-result-cancellation-looms-as-inec-has-no-result-sheets-for-inspection-by-atiku-12-days-after-presidential-election/ |
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collation officer for Asari-Toru Council of Rivers State, Dr. Steve Wodu, has attributed alteration of figures in the election results to sight problems. The alterations were very obvious that agents of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), New Democratic Party (NDP), Action Democratic Party (ACP) among others became restless as they shouted: “Where are the figures coming from?” The party agents argued that the results were in total variance with the ones announced at the wards and units. During the collation yesterday, Wodu said: “The results were collated at night, so the alterations may be due to sight problems.” When the electoral officer, Kenneth Etang, was called upon to present the council’s result, he was reluctant. As the INEC Returning Officer, Enefiok Essein, pressed to know why he was unwilling to present the result, he disclosed that he saw the collation officer, Kpang Meelabari, last on Saturday by 2pm and wondered how he came up with the results they were about to present. Etang alleged that his life had been under threat since the disappearance of the collation officer who admitted that both of them saw last before elections were over on Saturday and were only seeing each other again yesterday morning when they were called to present the result. Meanwhile, the INEC supervisor on the presidential election in the state, Eugene Nwosu, has expressed concern over disagreements on election results between the collation and electoral officers. Nwosu said, while collation officers collude with politicians to rig elections, the public continues to blame INEC officers for election rigging. The returning officer, who is the Vice Chancellor of University of Uyo, Enefiok Essien, said they could not do anything about the alterations, as their job was to collate results. He urged the angry party agents to write INEC for further investigation. In another development, Youth Initiative For Advocacy, Growth and Advancement (YIAGA) Africa has asserted that based on observer reports, there will be no run-off for the presidential election because a clear winner will emerge. Its preliminary estimate, which was signed by the chair of its Watching The Vote Working Group (WTV), Dr. Hussaini Abdu, and executive director of YIAGA, Samson Itodo, put turnout for the February 23 elections at between 36 per cent and 40 pr cent. https://m.guardian.ng/news/collation-officer-blames-sight-problem-for-alteration-in-rivers-poll-result/ |

Snatching of ballot boxes is not the method now mr. tyrant. The new method of rigging introduce by APC is to used the weather-beaten methods of rigging and vote buying, hijack of result sheets, scarcity of materials in opposition party stronghold, and using the security apparatus to intimidate, threaten and harass voters against their will and wish. It seems this Osun method failed when INEC refuse to stagger the election. The reason for their anger and attack on Inec and Nigerians |

Iamdmentor1:I don't seems to understand why God gave us brain and IQ. Everything about Nigeria is fast and pray. When the children of Israel was to depart Egypt they journey through it. Assume its in Nigeria we'll have waited, fast and pray to God to catapult us straight to Israel. The reason God seems far from Nigeria is these: Matthew 15:8 - "These people (Nigerians) draw near unto me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me." |

The Kogi East Elders Council, under the Chairmanship of Senator (Dr) Ahmadu Ali and General Secretary, Mr Alphonsus Alhassan, has warned the people of the Eastern Senatorial District that any vote for the All Progressives Congress in the zone is a vote for Governor Yahaya Bello, which would not bring any good thing to Igala/Bassa nations. The elders in a statement on Wednesday said it has resolved to align with the Peoples Democratic Party on certain terms and conditions that would be submitted to the leadership of the main opposition party. The Elders Council also explained in their statement that future elections would follow a similar pattern of support for PDP as long as ” the future well being of Igala/Bassa people shall neither be shortchanged nor mortgaged. The statement by the Kogi East Elders Council also made further submission that is hinged on the fact ” that henceforth, Kogi East as a zone, will no longer be neutral and suffer shame in the hands of political merchants of fortunes “. The Kogi East Elders in the statement said with the benefit of hindsight, the council irrevocably resolved that it has taken cognisance of the pernicious plight of people of Kogi State and Nigeria and felt that the zone should stand on the political pedestal with clear cut alignment, stressing that it does not matter if the zone wins or loses. “We will be identified with and respected for. That path is now. We are worried by the unpleasant happenings in Kogi State in the last four years which are precursors to more inglorious experiences. Thus, Kogi East has decided to take its political destiny in its own hands,” the statement added. https://www.dailypost.ng/2019/02/13/nigeria-elections-apc-trouble-kogi-east-elders-direct-igalas-others-shun-buhari-bello-polls/ |

To come up with a policy on rail construction is not an easy task. so kudos should be given to President Jonathan for successfully initiating rail revolution with the the Chinese government after decades of ruin. You need competent hands in government to come up with good policies and programs. BVN, IPPS, ICPC, EFCC, TSA are all policies initiated by the PDP administration to curb and reduce corruption to its minimum. |
The funny aspect of it is that the children with the lowest cut off mark from the North will be appointed to lead over the ones from the south with high IQ and with highest cut off mark at adulthood. They're appointed head in every government institutions and agencies but with low IQ. |
Intimidation and fear is one of the tactics of a tyrant. Saddam Hussein adopted it during his 30yrs reign in Iraq. |

A least Atiku understood all the questions and Obi was very Atikulate.whereas, Buhari was given answers to the questions but still he failed woefully. Osibande was busy given him expo in the hall, still he was speaking off point and incoherently. |
The Board of Trustees (BOT), of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has backed President Muhammadu Buhari’s suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, saying allowing the CJN to be tried by the NJC would have amounted to allowing him “seat (sic) in judgment over his own case”. In a communiqué issued at the end of its meeting in Kaduna, the Forum said by his conduct, the CJN has demonstrated that his personal interest supersedes that of the nation. The statement reads. “The ACF notes that the allegation against the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, are that he failed to comply with the expressed provisions of the Code of Conduct Bureau Act, to wit, failure to declare his assets on assumption of office as Justice of the supreme Court and as the Chief Justice of Nigeria. “That when he was made to declare his assets as demanded by law, he failed to declare all of them. “Following the discovery of these infractions, the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, swiftly referred the matter to the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT. Which made an order for the temporary suspension of the CJN in the interest of natural justice? However, this action by the CCT has provoked intense controversy “And yet, from a reading of all the facts of the matter, ACF cannot defend the position taken by the Hon. Justice Onnoghen, especially his insistence that he should first be tried by the National Judicial Council, of which he is Chairman. To do so would have allowed him the seat in judgment over his own case. “ACF deeply regrets the conduct of Justice Onnoghen, particularly his refusal to step aside and allow the due process o f the law to take its course. He has created the impression that his personal interests in this matter supercede that of the judiciary and the nation. “On their part, law enforcement agencies must strive to always execute their tasks in neat and professional manner in order to avoid creating perceptions of partisanship. “In the end, Nigeria cannot hope to develop and take its rightful place in the comity of nations unless and until we learn to respect our laws and enforce them fairly and consistently” the statement added. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/01/onnoghen-arewa-backs-buhari/ |

The provision reads; the functions of the Bureau shall be to; (d) receive complaints about non-compliance with or breach of this Act and where the Bureau considers it necessary to do so, refer such complaints to the Code of Conduct Tribunal established by section 20 of this Act in accordance with the provisions of sections 20 to 25 of this Act: *Provided that where the person concerned makes a written admission of such breach or non- compliance, no reference to the Tribunal SHALL be necessary”. Onnoghen had admitted, in writing, not to have declared his assets up to date and decided to bring it up to date when he was appointed the CJN. By the provisions of the Act, he should not have been referred to the Tribunal for trial, a Supreme Court source argued. Case close. |
