carammel:A wonderful piece from Toks2008. https://www.nairaland.com/3859494/moment-mrs "I chose to write this thread cos of the growing trend of many ladies leaving their marriages for reasons that will make a sane person puke and it is so funny that these ladies see no big deal in jumping out of their marriage thinking men out there will just jump at them when there are countless numbers of beautiful never married ladies out there. One big fact i want every married lady to know is this .... The moment you are married, the seal of spinsterhood is broken and such seal can never be fixed...in other words...if you leave that union, you can never be seen as a never married or single lady so to say but you automatically become a divorcee. And in most cases also, when men approach divorcees for romantic union, they usually have the mindset that it's a favor they are rendering to these ladies which is why many lady divorcees end up single for a very long time and many end up as intimacy gadgets in the hands of randy men. Why this sermon? it is to tell ladies that they must really think before they go into any marriage because it is better to be never married at 40 than to be a divorcee at 30.Ladies should see marriage as a very special Institute they must guard and should never take for granted at a time guys don't need a wife to enjoy what husbands enjoy as sex is cheap and it is quite easier getting a baby mama rather than going through the stress of fatherhood...it is quite easier for a guy to spend his money on himself rather than spending on a family. Believe it or not, most guys in marriage of 5 years and above secretly wish that they have the chance to be with a new lady but only few remain disciplined so it is your duty to guard your marriage and take it very seriously. For those ladies who are quick to say "I will leave my marriage if my hubby cheats on me"...have you ever thought of the fact that when he eventually cheats on you to your face then he really wants you to leave. Most ladies who say marriage is not necessary usually enjoy hopping from one man to another and i wonder if that is their preferred option. I will advise them to wake up from their delusion and have a rethink. Marriage is more of companionship than sexual intimacy and no matter how beautiful a lady is,in most cases, once she gets into her 40s,the hype of having men flock around her will dwindle and loneliness becomes the order of the day,...only then will she understand that indeed, marriage is an important aspect of life no woman should joke with. Marriage is more spiritual than physical and nothing gladdens the Devil more than seeing marriages crumble since it is the very institution GOD meticulously established so it is your duty as a lady to guard your marriage and the only logical reason for you to leave your marriage is if your life is seriously threatened...any other reason can be worked out. No matter how many times you change men, there will always be a reason to leave so stop running about and make your marriage work. There is no good or bad choice of spouse but what we have is your choice and what you make out of it. NEVER ALLOW ANOTHER LADY PUSH YOU OUT OF YOUR MARRIAGE OR YOU MAY REGRET IT. This will definitely make no sense to many ladies" |

I don't understand why we keep blaming the Fulani herdsmen for the killings going on in Nigeria. I've known them over the years as peaceful and easy going people. Its possible there is an international conspiracy to cause trouble in Nigeria. |

Despite several bailouts from the Federal Government, the Kogi State government has continued on the path of borrowing from commercial banks to purportedly pay salaries and run other recurrent expenditures, PREMIUM TIMES can report today. According to documents obtained by our reporter, the state has borrowed about N30billion from commercial banks since January 2018. How the state utilized the bailout funds, close to N50billion, remain unclear. Although critics say a huge chunk of it was either misappropriated or diverted. The new debts are being amassed despite the Debt Management Office (DMO) listing the state as one of the nation’s most indebted. The DMO put the state’s debt liability at N102.4billion, as at December 31, 2017. That possibly excludes the several billions the Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration is owing contractors, civil servants and pensioners. The state government has for long been in arrears in the payment of workers’ salaries. It cleared four months salary liability in December 2017, courtesy of the N1.2billion second tranche of the Paris Club refunds and a N10billion bank loan. The staggering salary backlogs, spanning between seven to 25 months, suggest the huge borrowing by the state are hardly used for payment of workers’ salaries as the government usually claim in loan requests to banks. According to the Kogi State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, workers had not been paid since March. Even before then, several months of arrears had accumulated and remained unpaid. In December 2017, the Commissioner for Finance, Idris Asiru, claimed the state government needed N30billion extra to clear arrears of salaries. The state’s internally generated revenue averages N1.2billion monthly. An Irrevocable Standing Payment Order (ISPO) issued by the state government on March 20 to Zenith Bank for the deduction of principal and interest indicated a N3.5billion loan secured from Fidelity Bank. The ISPO, signed by Mr Asiru, the finance commissioner and Momoh Jibrin, the accountant general of the state, followed the granting of the loan by the bank. The state government had applied for the loan on October 30, 2017 purportedly for offsetting salaries of civil servants. The application went further to state that the loan would be repaid within three years through the expected inflow of funds from the Paris Club refund of 21.2billion; refund of N14billion capital projects executed on behalf of the federal government; and expected N30billion revenue from the implementation of a GIS project. Revenues to the tune of N75 billion are also being expected from the sales of Kogi State Liaison Office in Lagos, Kogi House in Abuja, and Kogi International Market and others. The government said that inflow would be used to liquidate the loan. The Kogi State House of Assembly also on December 5, 2017 approved another loan request by Governor Bello. The money – N1.29billion – is to be used as counterpart funding for a grant from the Universal Basic Education Commission, the governor said. The loan was eventually secured from Fidelity Bank, with the state offering to repay using its “internally generated revenue for a period of 12 months, from 26 October 2017 to 26 October 2018.” PREMIUM TIMES also gathered that on January 31, 2018, the state government made another request of N3.5billion loan also from Fidelity Bank purportedly for the payment of salaries. This is beside a N12billion Local Contractor Receivable(Promissory Notes) with United Capital. Not done with borrowing, the finance commissioner via a memo dated January 31, 2018, called the attention of the state government to the dwindling financial fortunes of the state, and requested a N12 billion loan to be jointly provided by four participating banks with each supplying N3billion, for the payment of salaries. The state executive council approved the proposal with Zenith, Access, Union and Fidelity Banks tapped as participating banks. Recall also that Kogi had in 2015 requested bailout worth N50.8billion from the Federal Government to enable it settle its outstanding arrears of workers salaries. PREMIUM TIMES gathered that the monthly wage bill of the state at the time was N2.7billion. Workers were owed two months in arrears, amounting to N5.4billion. The balance of N45.4billion, it was gathered, was supposed to be used to pay the arrears of local government workers and primary school teachers. But the state government said it only got N20billion. It is unclear if the state later received the balance of N30.8billion or not. The state government also received funds from the Paris Club refund worth over N20billion, which was also meant to offset salaries. Onu Edoka is the chairman of the Kogi State chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC). He told PREMIUM TIMES that workers are in the dark regarding the loans and how they were utilised. He said it was difficult for labour to determine whether the loans obtained were actually used for offsetting workers’ salaries as claimed by the government. “I cannot categorically say state government took loans to pay salaries, because I was not in the picture of any loan they took to pay salaries, and government has not told us categorically that it took loans to pay so and so category of arrears of salaries,” Mr Edoka said. “I am only aware that when the bailout came, it was meant to clear salary arrears. “We demanded for a committee to be put in place so we can be in the picture, but the government said it was not for us to dictate to them, that they can pay the money.” He also lamented the condition of the workers, whom he said were suffering, particularly local government workers and primary school teachers who are receiving as low as 25 per cent of their monthly salaries in the last two years. “They would say they have paid salaries at the local government level up to April, but what is paid at that level is in percentage. We have been on percentage payment of salaries since the assumption of this government at the local government and primary school levels,” Mr Edoka said. “The percentage is as worse as 25per cent. That is to say if your salary is supposed to be N18,000, the 25 percent of that salary is N4,500. That is what local government workers and teachers earn at the end of the day.” The Executive Director, Centre for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution, Idris Maliki, who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES on the development, said despite the huge allocations to the state running up to N200billion in the last two years, the state government was yet to commission any road or housing project. He also complained of lack of transparency when the state government seeks for loans, adding that the state assembly was also complicit in the shrouding of the process in secrecy. “When the government is seeking a loan and writes to the state assembly, such letters are not read on the floor of the house,” said Mr Maliki. “For nine years I have been working with the state assembly, and I have attended 90 per cent of the sittings of the state assembly, yet letters of request for loans are not known to us. “A lot of people in Kogi State do not even know that loans are continuously being taken on behalf of the state. What is the rationale for loan taken? The House of Assembly is not even querying the loans because it has turned itself into department or a unit of the Government House. Unfortunately such letters are not read on the floor of the assembly.” Mr Maliki added, “We have a government in Kogi State that did screening for 14 months and the outcome of that screening has not assisted the state. The payroll is still the same thing,” he said. “So what is the reason for continuous borrowing. It is unfortunate, it is regrettable. The state government has continued borrowing and nobody knows what it is doing with the money.” The Director General of the Kogi State Bureau of Information, Abdulkareem Abdulmalik, would not respond to enquiries by PREMIUM TIMES. When contacted, he said he would not speak to our reporter on the telephone. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/277513-kogi-governor-drowns-state-in-debts-as-workers-remain-unpaid-for-months.html

A man calmly sets fire to a house, watched by a group of at least 12 men dressed in fatigues, helmets, and black webbing consistent with those worn by an elite army unit in Cameroon. "I want to die," a village chief tells his tormentors as they beat and threaten to kill him. They appear to be members of a separatist militia. Captured on video and shared widely on social media, these are among dozens of clips that have been pouring out of Cameroon over the last six months, some of which have been analysed by BBC Africa Eye. Some of them show burning villages. Others record acts of torture and killing. Many are too graphic to show. Though often confusing and hard to verify, these films show a nation sliding towards a brutal civil war as the government tries to suppress an armed insurgency in the English-speaking areas of western Cameroon. The crisis in Anglophone Cameroon: Began in 2016 with demonstrations by English-speaking lawyers, students and teachers Protests against marginalisation by the French-speaking majority met with a crackdown Activists arrested, and several protesters shot by security forces Separatist demands for an independent state grew, resulting in increasingly violence Some symbolically proclaimed the independence of a new state called "Ambazonia" Some 160,000 people have fled their homes in Cameroon, the UN says More than 20,000 have fled to Nigeria Journalists being denied access to conflict zones. Colonial roots This is a conflict that has been building for decades. The division between Cameroon's French-speaking majority and its English-speaking minority has its roots in the colonial era. Cameroon was colonised by Germany and then split into British and French areas after World War One. After French-administered Cameroon gained independence in 1960, the two parts of the country formed a single nation the following year. This followed a referendum when British-run Southern Cameroons voted to join the French-speaking Republic of Cameroon in 1961, while Northern Cameroons voted to join English-speaking Nigeria. Even then, some English-speakers felt they had been forced into the new republic. Cameroon became a federation of two states - one English-speaking, the other French-speaking - under one president. A decade later in 1972, another public vote saw Cameroon dropping its federal form to become a unitary state. Ever since, many Anglophones have complained that their regions were being neglected and excluded from power. Schools torched by rebels It is not just the government accused of committing abuses. Separatist rebels have also killed Cameroonian security forces and attacked civilians accused of working with the government. The rebels have also attacked and burnt down schools - according to Amnesty at least 42 schools were attacked by armed separatists between February 2017 and May 2018. Anglophone activists called for a complete school boycott last year to exert further pressure on the authorities. Amnesty has images of a teacher who was shot for keeping his school open. A new video shows a village chief being beaten, apparently by a rebel who threatens to kill him. The government says that 81 members of the security forces and more than 100 civilians have been killed by separatists in the past year. No official figures are available for civilian and separatists' deaths at the hands of the security forces. Prime Minister Philémon Yang has accused Cameroonians living overseas of using social media to "spread hate speech and terror" and "order murders". This week, the gendarmerie - Cameroon's military police force - banned officers from using mobile phones or social networks such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter without permission. Aid agencies' efforts to assist civilians have been frustrated by the struggle to access conflict areas. As Cameroon's Anglophone crisis continues, both the UK and France have discreetly pressed for dialogue. The US Ambassador to Cameroon, Peter Barlerin, has taken a harder stance. He recently accused the army of burning and looting villages and also suggested that after 35 years in power, President Paul Biya might want to consider stepping down. Cameroon faces increasing international scrutiny in its approach to the crisis, with general elections scheduled for October 2018. Thousands of families have been forced from their homes by the fighting. While 21,000 people have fled across the border into Nigeria, the UN estimates that a further 160,000 are displaced within Cameroon. Many others are still hiding in the forest. Former Presidential aide Reno Omokri has said that President Muhammadu is running the “biggest scam” in Nigeria via fuel subsidy. Recall that a recent report had noted that the Buhari government pays ₦2. 4 billion for fuel subsidy. Reacting to the development, Omokri lashed out at Buhari for berating former President Goodluck Jonathan over subsidy payment. “The biggest scam in Nigeria is when a Buhari,” Omokri tweeted, “who called Jonathan a scammer for paying ₦1 billion Naira fuel subsidy everyday, turns around to now pay double that, at ₦2. 4 billion everyday. “My question to the so called Mr. Integrity: Have the number of cars doubled in Nigeria?

THE Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has begun nationwide load-shedding due to rupturing of the gas pipeline at the weekend. This has led to a drop in power generation to 1087.6MW. According to a statement by the General Manager, Public Affairs, TCN, Mrs. Ndidi Mbah, the TCN stated that as a result of gas pipeline rupture on the 15th of June, 2018, as well as technical issues at the Shell gas wells on the 16th of June, there has been a sharp drop in generation into the grid by a total of 1,087.6MW, resulting in load-shedding nationwide, necessary to maintain stability of the grid. Due to the NGC pipeline incident, TCN said that six thermal power generating stations are currently unable to generate electricity and have therefore been shut down. The affected power stations include the Ihovbor, Azura, Omotosho gas, Geregu gas, Olorunsogo gas, Sapele and the Egbin Power Station which has managed to generate 60MW only on each of its units, losing a total of 211MW. Also, Afam VI power station was shut down so that Shell Oil Company can resolve its gas well issues to enable it to commence gas supply to Afam VI power station. According to Mrs Mbah, with a total loss of 1,087.6MW into the grid, the transmission system has become quite fragile and that TCN is working hard to avert a collapse of the system, by engaging in load-shedding. Load-shedding, she explained, is to ensure that available generation is commensurate with what is allocated to discos nationwide, to create a balance and avert grid instability. The release further noted that NGC is making efforts to ensure that the gas pipeline issues are resolved in order to restore normal gas supply to the affected power generating stations, to enable them to generate into the grid. Meanwhile, Shell has resolved its gas well issue this morning and gas supply partially restored to Afam VI. TCN noted that there has been no collapse of the grid as has been reported. Meanwhile, the company appealed for understanding and assured that its engineers are working hard to continue to maintain the stability of the grid, pending completion of repairs of the gas pipeline by NGC and restoration of full gas supply to the affected generating stations. http://www.tribuneonlineng.com/151040/ |

When President Muhammadu Buhari was away on medical vacation in 2017 in United Kingdom, he transmitted power to his Vice, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo to oversee the affairs of the country as acting President. Consequently Osibanjo as acting president in his presentation at the second annversary of the government raise the hopes of millions of Nigerians that the country was on its way to rise self sufficency. According to Osibanjo: “I am delighted to note that since 2015 our imports of rice have dropped by 90 percent, while domestic production has almost tripled. Our goal is to produce enough rice to meet local demand by 2019. All of these are evidences that we are taking very seriously our ambition of agricultural self-sufficiency. “The critical points that we must address fully in the next two years are: Agriculture and food security, Energy, (power and Petroleum,) Industrialization and Transport infrastructure.” On that occasion President Buhari said his administration has reduced rice importation by 90 per cent. This means that 10 per cent importation of rice was still coming into the country. But industry watchers who are close to Nigerian borders told Daily Sun that Buhari is partially right that rice importation dropped by 90 per cent relates to rice coming from Thailand while the importation from Cameroon, Benin Republic and Niger Republic has increased by 100 per cent. Though, the President received praises from a cross section of Nigerian farmers for putting some policies in place to develop the agric sector and ensure that people go back to farm excited, other farmers with different opinions said the President has done little in the development of agric sector to earn their praises. They said that the president has not delivered 30 per cent of what he promised as political bigwigs under Buhari’s watch have hijacked most of the policies. For instance, the Anchor Borrowers Programme (ABP) they argued no longer has significant effects as corruption was eating deep into the programme because the loans are not getting to the right farmers but political farmers. However, farmers described the rice policy as a fluke. Recently, investigation carried out in five states, which include Lagos, Ekiti, Kebbi, Kaduna and Ebonyi – and in neighbouring Benin Republic, revealed that the ABP, which was touted as the answer to Nigeria’s quest for self-sufficiency in rice production, has failed in most places with the government unable to recoup a large chunk of the N55 billion loan already disbursed. The ABP has given rise to a multitude of angry farmers who claim the programme has been hijacked by local politicians who disburse funds to fake farmers and has become a means for political patronage, our investigation uncovered. Efforts by the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) to salvage the programme is merely slogging by, as complaints of the supply of expired herbicide, bad seeds and other challenges are threatening to derail it. Speaking to Daily Sun, an Agribusiness & Youth Empowerment Coordinator, Community of Agricultural Stakeholders of Nigeria (CASON), Sotonye Anga, said the administration has done well but there is plenty of room for better performane. He added: “We are glad all over the country, that Nigerians can see significant reduction in the price of rice, which is the major staple food. The cost has gone down reasonably and that’s a plus for the administration. Other things that need strong improvement include the unlocking funding to agriculture, agriculture finance is still low, farmers has not really got the most when it comes to financing agriculture. “When you are talking about boosting production, you have to master significant financing especially in this time of climate change, we need a whole lot of investment, technology that will promote climate smart agriculture. So farmers need to be better equipped to face the changing time, to face the change in climatic time. There is a lot more room for improvement. The administration has tried but we are asking them to do a lot more,” he added. On the claims of 90 per cent drop on importation of rice by Buhari, he said the rice are still smuggling in from Benin Republic, might send Nigerian farmers of out business. http://sunnewsonline.com/buhari3-rice-importation-from-3-african-countries-increases-by-100/amp/ |
Outspoken Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari over the release of the mugshot of ex governor of Kaduna State, Ramalan Yero, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The scholar on Thursday stated that the president has lost support in the Southern part of country, and that only the “ignorant North” still supports him. “I was just shown the photo of former governor of Kaduna State holding card, showing he committed offence. “This is wrong. We must tell them the truth”, Daily Nigerian quoted him as saying. “He should have torn the card and fought them. Nothing will happen. Only the court pronounces offence. “Let me tell you this: The southerners have bidden bye to this administration. It is only you…ignorant (Northerners supporting the administration). “Even democracy is not in practice as there is violation of human rights. “If Buhari’s offence were not forgiven, he would not have become president. The people forgave him. “Let Buhari and (former President) Shagari be put on scale and see who really stole public funds,” Gumi added. http://dailypost.ng/2018/06/01/southerners

Ben Bruce, senator representing Bayelsa east, has alleged that the helipad in Daura is the only project that the current administration has competed in its three years in power. Daura in Katsina state is the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari. In a series of tweets on Wednesday, the senator accused Nigerian leaders of neglecting the masses while taking care of themselves. He described as failure the inability of leaders to look after those they lead. “It is sad that this administration cannot point to any major projects initiated, started and completed in the three years they have been in power except the Daura helipad. It is a weak leader who looks after himself. A strong leader will rather look after the people who he leads. The greatest failure of leadership is when a leader fails to look after his people,” he wrote. ”In the last three years, some of us leaders built new houses, yet we haven’t built new housing estates for the people. We have bought new private jets yet Nigeria still does not have a national airline. This, in my opinion, is the greatest failure of leadership possible.” https://www.thecable.ng/extra-ben-bruce-says-daura-helipad-project-buharis-government-completed/amp

The Hausa community in Owerri, capital of Imo State, has cried to Governor Rochas Okorocha to shelve the plan to relocate its people from Owerri metropolis in Owerri Municipal Council Area. The people alleged that the area that they are presently occupying is their ancestral home, adding that they had been there for over 120 years. In an interview with Southern City News on Friday, the traditional ruler of Hausa community, Alhaji Auwal Baba-Suleiman, said the state government had not officially communicated its plans on the relocation of Ama-Hausa community to them, as it has been rumoured, but fervently appealed that the idea be jettisoned. The traditional ruler however, pointed out that relocating them from their present abode was just like uprooting the people from their ancestral land. Southern City News recall that Okorocha had late 2017 said that after he had demolished the Owerri ancestral market (Ekeukwu) as part of his urban renewal project, he would also relocate the Ama-Hausa community. Baba-Suleiman said, “The rumour that the state government is planning to relocate the Ama-Hausa community is causing anxiety in the entire Hausa community. Although, we have not been officially communicated by the state government, I appeal to the state governor, His Excellency, to please shelve the plan of relocating Ama-Hausa community from Owerri. “Our forefathers who came from Kano had settled in this area since 1898 which is over 120 years and inter-married with the natives. The Owerri people regard us as people of their sixth clan otherwise called Owerre Nchi Ishi. All the people in Ama Hausa community were all born here. Just like every Igbo man avidly cherishes his ancestral home, we love where we are presently. In fact, Ama Hausa is our village.” Meanwhile, the traditional ruler has commended Okorocha for his urban renewal project. He said the development has given the state a new look, especially in the areas of road construction, reconstruction and provision of infrastructure. “We are not against Owelle’s urban renewal project. We are happy with it because it is giving the state a facelift. We are only pleading with him to leave us where we are,” he added. https://www.google.com.ng/amp/punchng.com/hausa-community-cries-out-over-alleged-relocation-in-owerri/amp/ |
Suspected Fulani herdsmen have killed five farmers at Ukemberagya district, near Anyii, in Logo local government area of Benue State. Anyii is the country home of former Governor of the state, Gabriel Suswam and was the last Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp Vice President Yemi Osinbajo visited before returning to Abuja later on Wednesday. The Vice President visited the state on a peace mission on Wednesday. A community leader, Chief Joseph Anawah, told The Nation on phone that the attackers who were armed with sophisticated weapons stormed the settlements in Ukemberagya at 6:30 a.m. and operated for about three hours. “They moved from one village to another, shot sporadically and razed houses,” he said. Anawah listed those killed as Bem Torjem, Apedzan Chia and Ikpuku Korya. The spokesman of the state police command, Moses Yamu, said he has not been briefed on the incident. http://thenationonlineng.net/herdsmen-kill-five-in-benue/ |

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, Morning Star, Son of the Dawn! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”- Isaiah 14.12. On 4th May 2018 Mr. Layefa Walter wrote the following: “Please don’t forgot that it was under Buhari’s watch that Nigeria dropped a bomb on refugees at an Internally Displaced People’s (IDP’s) camp in Rann, Borno State and called it a “regrettable operational mistake.” That mistake killed about 250 people. Yes, 250 unarmed Internally displaced people were killed. Don’t forget that it was under the command of President Buhari that over 400 unarmed Shiites were killed by the Nigerian military. Yes, over 400 unarmed Shiites were killed. Don’t forget that it was under the supervision of President Buhari that over 300 unarmed IPOB “members” were killed by the Nigerian military. Yes, over 300 unarmed IPOB members killed. Buhari is a thieving and lying mass murderer: a President who superintendents over the killings of his own citizens. It is a shame!” Mr. Walter is absolutely right. And in case anyone is still in any doubt about just how bad things are I urge them to watch a video that went viral on the internet two days ago showing a group of violent and battle-hardened Fulani herdsmen and terrorists in Church choir robes dancing, celebrating and making mockery of Christians whilst brandishing AK47’s in the Church premises after they had slaughtered 2 Catholic clerics and 20 parishioners in Benue State last month. This is indeed a graphic depiction and an eloquent testimony of a sign of the times. Simply put, we are in a mess. Meg Barn hit the nail on the head when she said, “The bitter truth is that Buhari is suffering from bipolar disorder which makes him errorneously believe that he is Nigeria’s Messiah in the day time while at night he is Usman Danfodio fighting a Jihad to complete the work Danfodio could not complete. Buhari is a dangerous psychopath mistakening Nigeria for the 18th century and he’s a re-incarnatiion of another psychopath called Usman Dan Fodio. Impeach Buhari, get him to resign or vote him out! Do what you must but this must be his last tenure”. Her analysis and conclusions are as apt as they are insightful. I saw all this coming in 2015 and I warned the nation but sadly few would listen. A few key figures in President Goodluck Jonathan’s government and a handful of others at the highest level of the then ruling party, the PDP, felt that I was going too far. They were uncomfortable with the fact that I was prepared to speak the bitter truth about Buhari. Their view was that he was not as bad as I claimed and that he ought to be treated with kid gloves. How wrong they were! Others made the same mistake in 2016 when they brought the demon called Ali Modu Sheriff to lead our party and I kicked against it. Once again, to their utter shock and chagrin, I was proved right. The fact of the matter is that the difference between yours truly and others is that I have foresight, insight and the gift of discernment whilst most of them do not. Unlike them, I move in the prophetic. It is a gift from God. I can see and smell the evil in people long before others do and long before he or she shows their true colours. It is a gift from the Holy Spirit. That is why I fought so hard and with so much passion against Buhari in 2015 during the presidential election. I was not just fighting for Jonathan but also for my people including the Christians, the Middle Belters and the southerners. I was fighting for the hundreds of thousands of lives and souls that I knew would be killed and would perish under Buhari if he managed to win power. I was fighting for the future and soul of our beloved country Nigeria because I had been to the mountain-top and I saw what Buhari had purposed to do. Yet many, even from our own side during the presidential campaign, sought to rubbish me, discredit me and undermine me and they laughed my passion and zeal to scorn. Now they know better and they are not laughing anymore. They stopped laughing three months after Buhari was sworn in! They stopped laughing after he showed his true colors, exposed his fangs and bit them in their soiled posteriors. And they have been living in trepidation and suffering from a Buhari-induced trauma ever since! Yet the truth is that they have not seen anything yet. The wickedness, persecution, mass murder, violation of civil liberties and human rights, graft, theft, selective justice, ethnic cleansing, genocide, oppression and tyranny that we have witnessed and experienced from Buhari over the last three years is childs play when compared to what he purposes to do to Nigeria and to his perceived enemies if he manages to come back in 2019. Those that were not comfortable with my approach in 2015 are now crying under their beds like babies and hiding in their wardrobes like the cowards that they are as a conseqience of the calamitious evil that has befallen the entire country. They don’t talk anymore and they dare not publicly criticise the government out of fear for their lives, safety and liberty. They cringe, tremble, quiver, beg and crawl on their knees as Buhari and his goons kill our people, terrorise our citizens, burn our Churches, murder our priests, slaughter our women and butcher our children. They shiver and pray fervently as Buhari maligns and hunts down members of the opposition and bays for the blood of his detractors and perceived enemies like a ravenous beast. Today they are paying the price for refusing to fight and oppose evil three years ago. And the bitter truth is that Buhari never came to govern or to lead Nigeria: he came to torment her. Like the devil, he came to kill, steal and destroy. He came to enslave and to demonise. He came to uproot and to decimate all that is good, clean, decent, edifying and wholesome. He came to divide Nigeria on regional, ethnic and religious lines. He came to promote and provoke havoc until we end up being catapulted into a long, cruel, barbaric, horrendous, fratricdal and devastating civil war that will soak our nation from top to toe in blood and turn the entire west-African sub-region into a cauldron of fire. That is Buhari’s mission and the demons around and within him are lusting and craving to usher in that unprecedented bloodfest and that era of carnage and destruction. I say shame on all those, particularly the Christians, that encouraged and supported him to come to power. They must share part of the blame for the great calamity that has befallen our country over the last three years because they supported and prayed a hungry, vengeful, blood-lusting and bitter wolf into the chicken coup in 2015. They also handed the keys of our national treasury to a certified and trigger-happy armed robber that thrives on giving the world the impression that he is an angel. The truth is that Buhari did not come to govern. He came to punish the Nigerian people, to destroy his many detractors, to Islamise Nigeria and to entrench, enshrine and establish Fulani supremacy, hegemony and power in perpetuity. In 2015 everyone in the north knew what he stood for and what he intended to do with power. Worse still they knew what he and his supporters felt about Christians, Middle Belters and southerners because during the presidential election campaign itself they did not hide it. Anybody, whether Christian or Muslim, that was not prepared to support his candidacy and instead opted to support Jonathan was labelled as a “kaffir”, an “arne”, an “unbeliever”, a “heretic” and a “filthy traitor to Islam” who “hated Muslims and the Muslim cause”. They said this over and over again from political podium to political podium, from mosque to mosque, from village to village and from town to town all over the north. Hardest hit and most insulted were the Muslim core northerners who heroically rose above primordial sentiments and supported Jonathan simply because they felt that he was the better man, regardless of his Christian faith and despite the fact that he came from the south. Buhari’s supporters disdainfully referred to such selfless and patriotic northern progressives and enlightened thinkers as “pastors” even though they knew that they were practising and devout Muslims. They regarded these profoundly good men and women as nothing more than blacklegs and traitors to the northern cause. This was sad and unfortunate but worse of all was the fact that few were prepared to challenge them and their primitive and myopic world-view, their unacceptable sentiments and beliefs and their irresponsible and dangerous rhetoric. And to reiterate the point some of Buhari’s supporters articulated what has come to be known and recognised as the ‘Buhari doctrine’ in a way that Buhari himself could not openly and publicly do. For example let us consider the words of Aliyu Ismaila Gwarzo, a well-known and respected Buhari supporter and a core northern Muslim from Kano. On October 2nd 2014 he said the following: ”When I say that the Presidency must come to the north next year I am referring to the Hausa-Fulani core north and not any northern Christian or Muslim minority tribe. The Christians in the north such as the Berom, the Tiv, the Kataf, the Jaba, the Zuru, the Sayyawa, the Bachama, the Jukun, the Idoma, the Burra, the Kilba, the Bachama, the Mbula, and all the others are nothing and the Muslim minorities in the north including the Kanuri, the Nupe, the Igbira, the Babur, the Shuwa Arabs, the Marghur, the Bade, the Bura, the Igalla, the Zerma, the Bariba, the Gbari, the Gwari and all the others know that when we are talking about leadership in the north and in Nigeria, Allah has given it to us, the Hausa-Fulani. They can grumble, moan and groan as much as they want but each time they go into their bedrooms to meet their wives and each time they get on their prayer mats to begin their prayers, it is we the Fulani that they think of, that they fear, that they bow to and that they pray for. Some of them are even ready to give us their wives and daughters for one nights sport and pleasure. They owe us everything. This is because we gave them Islam through the great Jihad waged by Sheik Uthman Dan Fodio. We also captured Ilorin, killed their local King and installed our Fulani Emir. We took that ancient town away from the barbarian Yoruba and their filthy pagan gods. We liberated all these places and all these people by imposing Islam on them by force. It was either the Koran or the sword and most of them chose the Koran. In return for the good works of our forefathers Allah, through the British, gave us Nigeria to rule and to do with as we please. Since 1960 we have been doing that and we intend to continue. The Igbo tried to stop us in 1966 and between 1967 and 1969 they paid a terrible price. They were brought to heel and since then they have been broken. No Goodluck or anyone else will stop us from taking back our power next year. We will kill, maim, destroy and turn this country into Africa’s biggest war zone and refugee camp if they try it. Many say we are behind Boko Haram. My answer is what do you expect? We do not have economic power or intellectual power. All we have is political power and they want to take even that from us. We must fight and we will fight back in order to keep it. They have brought in the infidels from America and the pigs from Israel to help them but they will fail. The war has just begun, the Mujahadeen are more than ready and by Allah we shall win. If they don’t want an ISIS in Nigeria then they must give us back the Presidency and our political power. Their soldiers are killing our warriors and our people every day but mark this: even if it takes one hundred years we will have our revenge. Every Fulani man that they kill is a debt that will be repaid even if it takes 100 years. The Fulani have very long memories”. Gwarzo spoke the mind of millions of hardline conservative Fulani Muslims and reflected the thinking of Buhari and those in his inner circle. This was an excellent enunciation of the Buhari agenda and doctrine. As the British would say, he was “spot on”. Sadly in 2015 few were prepared to stand up to this irritating and insidious nonsense. Worse still even fewer were prepared to fly the flag of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ into battle and stand up and speak for the Ancient of Days, the Lord of Hosts, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and the King of Kings in Nigeria. As MC Holyman rightly wrote, “what is happening today in Nigeria is a well organised jihad which was planned a long time ago”. And what we are witnessing today are the fruits of that evil agenda. Consider the following: On 26th March 2018, Badu Salisu Ahmadu, President of the Fulani Nationality Movement (FUNAM) said, “The time for half measure is not now. Fulani all over are being killed and massacred. In Mambilla, over 1000 Fulani were killed in cold blood…We call on all Fulani to prepare for the Jihad. This is the basis of the anger of the poor people in the north against their political leaders. They are angry that instead of defending the Fulani, they are busy supporting those against Fulani, wining and dining with infidels”. What more evidence do we need of the insatiable appetite for violence and unconciable bloodlust of these demons in human flesh? These are indeed the sons of satan and the seed of Beelzebub. These are indeed the disciples of Lucifer and the servants of the Prince of Hell. (TO BE CONTINUED). http://www.femifanikayode.org/the-sons-of-satan-and-the-seed-of-beelzebub-part-1/

China is about to enforce new tax on American agricultural products in the next few weeks and President Trump needs new markets for American farm produce before calling the bluff of China. He approached Nigeria, Brazil and Argentina to take American farm produce in exchange for security deals. Nigeria is the highest consumer of Chinese soya beans in the world; with Nigeria signing an arms deal that includes military hardware transfer, 12 Tuscanos jets, training and parts, we can cut off China and embrace USA. So thought the President and his team! Trump clearly stated he’s not interested in Nigeria oil or any other thing but to provide new markets for American farmers that will be affected by Chinese new tariff. He is not buying anything from us; he is not investing anything in Nigeria. He pure created markets for two business groups (Dangote and American farmers) represented by Presidents Trump and Buhari. Here’s the problem: Insecurity in Nigeria is preventing fathers from going back to their farms, therefore creating food scarcity and high cost of living in our homes. While Buhari will receive tonne of grains and other foodstuffs directly from American farmers in the next few months, crashing the food prices across the country, his decision will defeat his government’s hyped fertilizer program which encourages farmers to return to farm which in itself is a ruse – we know the havoc wrecked so far by Fulani Herdsmen invading and burning down farms across the country. The twist to the whole charade is the inclusion of Aliko Dangote in Buhari’s entourage. You know Dangote right? The man who holds the monopoly right to import so many commodities into Nigeria without competition. No import duties and tariffs, just VIP clearance from the power that be. The moment Buhari was signing those deals, Dangote was signing as the sole beneficiary of the importation. He is Nigeria in the deal, not Buhari who knows nothing. Dangote gets a good deal to keep the monopoly intact, Nigeria army got their 12 fighter jets deals sorted too, Trump makes American Farmers Great Again. What do Nigeria farmers, Nigerians get, HOPE! scannewsnigeria.com

In what seems to a tradition of faux pax and lack of due diligence, the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, has given life to a tweet that Buhari holds the distinction of becoming the first African president to meet President Donald Trump of the United States at the White House. Tweeting @yunusxonline, Yunus Jnr/PMB, had tweeted: “Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will on April 30 hold the distinction of becoming the first African president to meet US President Donald J. Trump at the White House in Washington.” Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will on April 30 hold the distinction of becoming the first African president to meet US President Donald J. Trump at the White House in Washington. — Yunus Jnr. |PMB (@yunusxonline) April 27, 2018 The tweet was promptly retweeted by @BashirAhmaad. However, 1000 Forms Of Fear on the twitter handle @randzejude, replied: let me drop this here, showing that Egypt’s President Abdel el-Sisi is the first African leader to have been received by Trump at the White House. Kellz @purekellz added salt to injury by tweeting: “And where is the Egyptian President from? Asia I suppose. Coming on the heels of the recently released Buhari’s human rights atrocities, I bet it will be better for him not to go because Trump will rubbish him.”

That's means the Federal govt led by president Buhari has failed in his primary responsibility to protect her citizens from external aggression and he must resign immediately.I can't Imagine President Trump giving excuses for not protecting Americans from ISIS. He will be impeach forthwith. Lets stop playing with the lives of Nigerians. Lets call a spade a spade! |
The time has come to unite and fight this monster called "Fulani herdsmen from Libya". Lets put our differences aside and fight for the sake of Nigeria. |
