DyshApp: Beyond the gift-giving, acts of service, physical touch, words of affirmation, or quality time and all that lovey-dovey whatever.
Very often, we hear about the five love languages that help us understand our partners better. Things that help us to love and care for our partners in ways they desire to be loved. However, these are only applicable when everything seems green and rosy. In those moments of raising voices, walking away, and exchanging words, how do we deal with our partners?
When conflict arises, we desire to be heard, and quite frankly, I don't think anyone wants to be spending time with or be touched by a partner who they have unresolved conflict with.
Realistically, every healthy relationship has conflicts, and when these issues arise, it is important to know your partner's fight languages or responses to amicably resolve conflicts. Just as we need to understand the love languages of our partners, we also need to understand their fight languages, as they are essential in understanding how to communicate with your partner.
Broadly speaking, we have people who are expressive in conflicts and prefer to address the issues immediately; on the other hand, some are suppressive and prefer not to address the issues head-on. Let's break these personality types into categories to fully understand the what and how of dealing with a partner's anger and our anger as well.

Most Nigerians don't understand what it means to close a case.
It means that Atiku has concluded his own part of the case. It's time for other parties to open theirs.
You've been hearing about Atiku's and Obi's evidence because the cases of the petitioners were open. The respondents could only cross examine the witnesses of the petitioners at that stage of trial.
This news presupposes that the petitioners have given almost all evidence that they have to give. After they close their case, they won't tender evidence or call witnesses in court again. It will be the respondent's turn to call evidence and destroy the petitioners' cases.
siofra: Very wrong. You have no idea about the HUGE number of Nigerian women choosing to stay single in 2023 than deal with men. You truly have no frigging idea.
GeneralPula: The university said Ms Yusuf from the Faculty of Law will be rewarded with N500,000 cash prize. Person wey dem suppose give 5m for start..
BATified23: The last publication of INEC was on 23rd of February 2023 in the links I posted and they didn't say they would post results real-time. I'm still going somewhere but you're the one that will lead me there
BATified23: Many news outlets have the news and made it public on February 23rd, 2023 when INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakub stated that they will not be transmitting results. Check the news sources below to read the details yourself
"He said Presiding Officers has the mandate to use the Bimodal Voters Accreditation (BVAS) machine to snap election results documented on the results sheet from each polling unit and upload the photo of the result on the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IRev) for anxious Nigerians to observe."
Chekwume16: Hmmm. The way tinubu is moving is not strange to me though. Although I voted for obi I have always maintained that tinubu will perform excellently if he wins especially in the area of economy and infrastructure. Just hoping he sustains this initial drive
Make una take chill pill.
Implementation of policies is what we should score him for not signing bills or speculating.
As far as I'm concerned he has failed in the area of providing succour to the people.
The hardship of immediate subsidy removal is still biting hard so of what use are all these bills that may not see the light of the day?
Tinubu should have a human face and stop this smoke screen policies.
The way and manner he removed subsidy was draculian and very typical of a mean dictator without a heart.
Even if it was removed by Buhari, he would have used his executive powers to give it a human face.
All these bills he is signing are for pong term effects If well implemented but the question is what is he doing to allevate the current hardship caused by removal subsidy the way he did.
Before you all begin to rant... Please read exactly what TINUBU HIMSELF SAID IN 2012.
11th January, 2012
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) national leader and former governor of Lagos State, has accused the Jonathan presidency of betraying its social contract with the people by suddenly removing fuel subsidy.
He, however, provided a window out of the crisis: if subsidy must be removed at all, it must never be at one fell swoop. Rather it must be on calibrated phrases, on which the promised gains are measured and confirmed before moving to the next phase of removal.*
“Government must modify the sudden and complete removal of the subsidy. Either we restore the subsidy or use the funds for other social purposes,” Asiwaju Tinubu counselled in a special release he captioned, ‘Removal of oil subsidy – President Jonathan breaks social contract with the people’ and which he personally signed.
“If we are to use the funds for other programmes, these programmes shall be placed on parallel track with the subsidy. As more of these programmes are ready to go on line, then the subsidy can be lifted in phases” he continued. “In this way, the public is assured government will not lower its total expenditure on their behalf, thus maintaining the spirit central to the social contract.”
But the former governor cautioned the federal government against economic policies that tend to balance the books at the detriment of the people’s welfare. “As there is progressive politics, there is progressive economics. As there is elitist politics, there is elitist economics,”
Asiwaju Tinubu explained. “It all depends on what and who in society government would rather favour. The Jonathan tax,” he declared, “represents a new standard in elitism.” But the ACN national leader cautioned the president against being captive to economic orthodoxy and its local purveyors, who always look at the Nigerian economy as nothing until when tied to the apron strings of the conservative orthodoxy. “Because he is slave to wrong-headed economics,” Asiwaju Tinubu said of President Goodluck Jonathan, “the people will become enslaved to greater misery.
This crisis will bear his name and will be his legacy. The people now pay a steep tax for voting him into office. The removal of the subsidy is the ‘Jonathan tax’,” he insisted.
“The situation shows that ideas count more than personalities. People may occupy office but how that person performs depends on the ideas that occupy his mind.”
Insisting that the subsidy removal was ill-timed, he said there must be some conditions precedent before such a step could be taken.
“First government needs to clean up and throw away the salad of corruption in the NNPC [Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation]. Then, proceed to lay the foundation for a mass transit system in the railways and road network with long term bonds and,” he added, “fully develop the energy sector towards revitalising Nigeria’s economy and easing the burden any subsidy removal may have on the people.”
The former governor however counselled protesters to go about the protests in a peaceful manner, and to eschew all forms of violence." So what happened? Why did he suddenly go against his very own road map?
Can we attribute this to old age or power intoxication?
TemmyDayo50: I saw him doing well before I voted him in and I'm very certain he won't disappoint. If you have tried knowing his person and capacity whil filtering out those social media noise, no one will need to tell you he'd perform well if given the opportunity to govern Nigerian...his antecedents as Lagos Gov. preceedss him...but it will be very hard to see due to baseless social media noises that beclouds our judgements sometimes....
God keep blessing the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
You still don't get it
I'm not talking about Tinubu. Go back and read my comment again.
Tinubu is not the one to implement, he can only sgn bills into law.
TemmyDayo50: This tenure will be the best ever in the history of this country... I'm so fulfilled I didn't allow the media propaganda against an awesome man to becloud my judgements. So happy my vote is part of what brought our amiable president to power....
We are in for a beautiful awesome long ride in the country! May God keep granting Jagaban good health, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to steer Nigeria to massive GREATNESS!
God bless you my President God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!
Let me ask you..
How old are you?
I'm sorry for asking but I honestly think you don't belong to my generation cos I have seen many presidents sign bills into law that was never implemented.
So my advise to you is this. Relax, calm your nerves and wait until you start seeing the implementation before jumping about.
Inasmuch as I see this as vendetta, unfortunately this guy does not have a good record so he just payed into Tinubu's hands and same goes for Emefiele.
If you have money, just go augment it or maybe make it look the way you want. There is no big deal. I have two friends who did theirs and they are more confident than ever so you really don't have to live with it.
And if you can't do anything about it, just carry yourself with confidence and try to love a man who will love you the way you are.
YoungLionken: When it comes to respect and regard, give it up for the Yoruba people ..
As for the Yorubas on this platform, know who you are culturally. Don't let the misbehaviours of a particular people stain your white on regard for elders. An uncultured set of people, are busy disturbing/disregarding/disapproving does not mean you should follow suit..
PS: I'm beginning to like BAT, he's been active since day one. One of his campaign I never thought he would be serious about, has just been signed into law.. Good news to all the undergraduates in the house...
The comments I read here is mind blowing.
Anybody can sign any bill but please try to ask salient questions and put the bill under scrutiny before you can start applauding.
This bill is dead on arrival cos there is no way on earth the loan is guaranteed to be paid back with the looming unemployment
