Family › Re: Some Damaging Words My Wife Said During A Quarrel by Toks2008(m): 5:02pm On Jan 11, 2021 |
CrescentMoon: Let me first tell you my kind of character. For you to make me angry, you have to repeat an offense more than 30 to 40 times. After each offence, I would only give you facial expression that will let you know that you offended me. And I would ensure you get the message.
So wife kept repeating same offence. I told her I don't like what she was doing. She said she would adjust, but kept repeating the same thing. When I got fed up, I tried to retaliate. My only retaliation is that I stopped being around in the house. I would leave the house very early in the morning and return late at night. I would go for business in another town and return 4 days later. She knows nothing stops me from coming home everyday from the other town because I have means of transportation. She flared up. Started calling relatives that I'm maltreating her. They asked her to say which ways I have been maltreating her...she said I'm avoiding our home. Relatives asked if I'm beating or starving her. She said no.
I know why it pained her very well. If she wants to go and urinate outside, I would go and drop her there. When she is through, she would call me and I would go and pick her up again.
She's a woman that's always settling fights for couples in the street. So, she never wanted it to be heard anywhere that we are quarelling in our home. She won't want anybody to come to our house to settle disputes. So this prolongs our fights always.
When she couldn't bear it again, she sent a message to me that goes like this: I INITIALLY DIDN'T WANT TO DIVORCE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR DISABILITY AS I PITY YOU. BUT NOW, IT'S OVER. YOU HAVE TO BEAR THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS TOWARDS ME ALL THESE YEARS. WHAT DID I HAVE TO DO WITH A JUJU DIABOLIC MAN IN THE FIRST INSTANCE.
Let me disect those words in capital letters for you. I have a disability, but you can't notice it easily until you start talking to me. She said I have to bear the consequences of my actions towards her... looking back, I have done unimaginable things to make her happy. I even saved her life when she didn't want blood transfusion from unknown persons as a result of her Christian belief not to contract demons from the blood of unknown person. Fortunately, my blood group is that of a universal donor. That means I can donate blood for anybody. Note that she had never done any noteworthy thing for me apart from giving birth to our babies. About being a juju man, I will tell you how she arrived at this: somebody was about to give birth from her family side and the baby was in breech position. She asked for advice and I told her that if I take the woman to the village my uncle will give the woman a concoction to reverse it. Her faith is against it, but because someone from her side just gave birth through CS, which almost led to the death of mother and baby, she asked me to take the woman to the village. The breech position was reversed. I'm surprised she now labelled me a juju man.
Instead of me to take her message personal, I urged her to please herself. This infuriated her the more. Instead of leaving me, she invited someone to intervene, tracked me to the second town, and it was settled there.
My problem now is that those words are still ringing in my head... someone I thought was a lover said she married me out of piety. Hahahahha..i laugh in Egun Language. Bro dont let it hurt you. Ladies marry guys for many reasons and she marrying you out of pity means she loves you naturally...take my word for it. Let it go and go settle with your wife and mother of your kids. She is a sweet lady but remember that no lady is perfect o..all of them get serious wahala so just learn how to manage your woman. |
Romance › Re: (OPINION) Don't be deceived, Polygamy is not a sin? by Toks2008(op): 9:51pm On Jan 10, 2021 |
Magnoliaa: Please, where are the verses against polyandry? Or a verse that says polyandry is a sin?
And what do you think of incest, or inter-marriage between distant cousins/relatives and ôral sex - seeing as the former seems permissible and the latter is a SILENT topic in the Bible?
Looking forward to you light-shedding and clear responses. :-) These prohibitions are found predominantly in Leviticus 18:8–18 and 20:11–21, but also in Deuteronomy. As for MouthAction the songs of solomon sheds some light on that which makes it OK within the confines of marriage. There are two veiled passages in the Bible that many theologians believe pertain to MouthAction. The first is Song of Solomon 2:3: “Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.” The word fruit refers to the male genitals and in biblical references. It is sometimes equated with the male genitals or with semen; so, it is possible that this passage is a reference to an oral genital caress. The second possible veiled reference is found in Song of Solomon 4:16: “Awake, north wind, and come, south wind! Blow on my garden, that its fragrance may spread everywhere. Let my beloved come into his garden and taste its choice fruits.” These erotic words spoken by Solomon’s bride are at the climax of a very sensuous love scene. It seems Shulamith asks her husband to blow on her garden (a poetic reference used throughout the Song for the vagina) and cause its spices to flow out. Of course, one cannot be certain, but it is possible Shulamith is inviting her husband to excite her by caressing her with his mouth. She then invites him to enter her and feast on the pleasures waiting in her “garden.” See what the Bible supports remain supported and what it is against should be avoided but we must not give our definition to what the Bible is silent about. |

But pastors went to seminary to study the scripture and they're in a better position to interpret it and I've never, I repeat, never seen any pastor that says polygamy is Godly after the birth of the new testament Use ur head
Ask ur pastor and stop following me up and down like Ekuke So you finally justified my point that you are a sheeple.... I actually thought you will stop responding and spend time to read the brilliant piece I wrote about Polygamy in the likes of the scriptures... See not everyone of us have follow follow mentality... Many of us reason deeply, we don't follow pastors like you do but we follow the scriptures... Please try to study God's words.. It will help you a great deal... This is a new year, stop being a mindless sheeple. Cheers. |

TSOM: I know I come off a tad too blunt with my opinions most times but, trust me, I'm not fighting you;not this time.
There's no where in the bible it is written that NOT defending a child from his abusive parent is a sin. After all, children must obey their parents always (as commanded in the scriptures)...even if that parent is abusive, delusional and evil, right? Yet, defending that child is the moral, right and Godly thing to do even if it isn't a law that we must. That brings us back to inferred meanings.
God gave you, me, us the power of choice for a reason. You, we are humans - intelligent beings- not lower beings. Our intelligence (guided by Godly principles) should come into play. You aren't ruled solely by instincts.
Again, sir, the discussion and my premises, by extension, thus far have been based wholly on scriptural evidence (of the consequences and redundancy of polygamous marriages). None has been on my philosophy. Many people read to reply with a closed mind but they rarely read to comprehend. You kept going round in circles... I gave vivid scriptural quotes up there without using any carnal philosophy to explain my stand view. But when you have no scriptural backup, that is when you start to rationalise and try against all odds to believe what you want to believe. |

ceaser: The estranged husband of "Orisabunmi" really dealt with KSA then.
KSA reportedly had a brief fling with her while she was with Jimoh Aliu, the estranged husband.
Jimoh Aliu, also a popular actor, is a non nonsense guy. The moment he found out, he went to work. KSA fell ill and was flown abroad for treatment. But he did not get better. Consultations were made and he was asked to apologise to Jumoh Aliu while a lot of other popular personalities also helped him to beg Jimoh Aliu.
He was placated and freed KSA from his ailment. The former on getting back to Nigeria released an album then. "Triumph" was the title of the album. In it he thanked Nigerians for holding fort and for their prayers while he was away on treatment.
Of course those that really knew what really transpired knew what happened. Never in his remaining life has he tried to look into another man's wife with lust. I just wrote in another thread that the fastest way for a man to destroy himself is to sleep with another man's wife. |

NeoWanZaeed: I do n0t believe in akufa sha. All death comes from the creator Life is a mystery and you don't have to believe. WHAT IS AKUFA?Akufa means one death of a family attract another death of another member of the same family within a limited or shortest period of time or in succession .It is a mysterious death peculiar to all tribe or culture or people or race which can be deterred through spiritual cleansing and divine knowledge , if left untreated or unattended to. it may go from generation to generation leaving a great mark of sorrow and agony, cause short many lives of his or her full potential . Life is a spirit , and spirit is life , treat all inexplicable evil occurrences with spiritual enlightenment and divine knowledge . “Aku “is from the word “ iku “” which means death and “ fa “ means to attract death . It means the death of one member of the family attract another member of the same family in series . Perpetual death occurrence within the family in shortest period of time possible . Some ar death that will always take the first born of th family or the bread winner of the family or one that normally take th prominent and most famous member of the family, the same method of natural death within the family . People believe akufa is spell cast by higher forces or one member of aggrieved family against other family who are struggling for power , land or woman or one family is hurt in a way that spiritual undertaking is employed to deal with the oppressor or arrogant .Akufa atimes May be as a result of the law of karma that is , reciprocated effects in life . It could be as result of ancestral errors that is passed from generation to generation . It may also means spiritual implication of stubbornness or anger or careless attitude to mystical and spiritual warning , whatever the case may be, spiritual steps could be used to wipe or deter further manifestation of this horror or evil in one life or in ones generation . akufa in Yoruba can be reverted through adoption of power of the divinities through initiations whereby spiritual mark are inscribed on the destiny of such individual and such evil will eventually stop or eternally ceased . It is a process of divine and spiritual engagement by which the chief priest, that is , discipline and reputed or verses in mystical and divine understanding takes spiritual and divine step to wipe out evil spell and evil mark from the life of the individual concerned or involved that lead to spiritual and divine victory without delay . All the same, rest your hope on God and stick to him in prayer .Appease to divinities for victory . According to Yorùbá word , ki ori eni o gbeni nija, that is let your superior psychic avert evil from your life . May your destiny fight for you on the day of trouble . Always appease or propitiate your ori to revert evil or generation curses or error . This is a serious case of Akufa and they néed to break the chain fast. |

diamondedu: Hmmmm.. good day please how best do I handle this situation?
My ex, although we did not officially seperate, is getting married by the end of the month but she doesn't love her husband to be. She finds his touch irritating, they hardly talk about everything that married people do, she's not just comfortable with the husband to be.
Now me and her were very good friends before we become lovers she's really a good girl, very supportive, infact every man's dream lady but I'm not yet ready to settle down. Family issues still full my head..
PLS married people how best do I avoid her before it becomes problem for her and the innocent man? I just hope she is not carrying your child already... All these crazy stories piss me off... She does not love her husband to be yet she is getting married to him... Does that even make sense. Any man that wants to be unfortunate in life should sleep with another man's wife... |
