Hello friends,
Please i have been dating this lady for quite sometime now and I really do like her but each time I think of getting married to her I get worried about a certain condition she has.
I observed that she hardly talks about her period and when I asked her about it she opened up and told me that she doesn't have a regular flow. She sees her period like at most three times a year or so.
She said her family doctor has told her not to worry that when she is set for marriage they is something they will do so that she wouldn't have issues with getting pregnant.

This has been so worrisome and I don't want to find myself in a situation whereby we will be unable to have kids on the long run.

You can marry her and treat it together as she might be suffering from Poly-cystic ovarian syndrome..PCOS which can be a stubborn but treatable condition

I created this thread primarily out of passion for socializing and of course to encourage nairaland singles interact with each other....but one setback is the timidity of our ladies cos I still wonder why they expect PM bombing from responsible guys.

Many mature ladies are out there very single and even tired of this romance palava but this platform will create an opportunity to make friends but Many naija babes prefer to hide in their boredom.

Taking myself as an example...I'm an introvert to the core...I'm don't club and you won't see me in places that adds no value to my life and worse still I hardly go out as I'm an E-commerce consultant who works from home and the few times I go out for a stroll,I hardly see mature single ladies of like 27years and above since I avoid younger ladies due to obvious reasons.

So to answer your question I will say No PMs yet but I'm not ruling that out if I see a dp that catches my fancy cos I'm very very visual.

Yeah...i remember spending 75rands(about N2500) on a plate of Eba which would cost N700 in Naija and with N200 which is about 50 cents you can buy N100 rice,N50 meat with two chilled sachet water lol! and even collect 30naira change...this is near impossible in several other countries even in Africa.

Wow, just found this thread from the homepage so arriving a bit late... Well 29 pages late!

My take in this matter, I'll say I'm a single guy and kindof searching! Reason why I say kindof searching is because aunties, uncles, married friends have all tried to hook me up with someone but it's never worked out. Like someone mentioned in here, this naija is full of slay Queens who are more interested in their phones and are only capable of taking selfies than holding an intelligent conversation.

Might just be me though but if I speak for most guys in their 30s, we are intelligent enough to know what we want in a woman and are pretty much not willing to compromise on certain personality traits.
Might be the same for the ladies but can't speak for them so I don't know.

For me now, I can't hook up with a passive chic, I'm from a family of strong women so I have no attraction for a passive lady who has the opinion that her only role in a relationship is to look good, provide sex, raise kids and that's it! I know myself, and I know I will get bored in less than a month. In that case, what's the point of entering such a union that should last FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

So I'll say, don't let your age scare you... What will be will be... But you do have to be open minded and know yourself enough to know what traits you can compromise on and what traits you can't.
