Politics / Re: Obasa And His New Law, Reasons He Must Pass The Laws Fast. by TokunboCarsOnly: 10:27am On Jun 10, 2023

You can't advise Igbos not to buy properties outside their region because most of these money are not pure and they most use it for something

The more reason they should use the money in their homeland. Other tribes too spend impure money but in their own land.
Politics / Obasa And His New Law, Reasons He Must Pass The Laws Fast. by TokunboCarsOnly: 8:28am On Jun 10, 2023
It is no longer a new gist that the speaker of Lagos house of assembly Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa and his colleagues in the Alausa house are nursing the idea of establishing laws that will protect the rights of indigenes of Lagos. What this means is that indigenes are about to have some exclusive privileged rights as against other Nigerians resident in Lagos. I read that the new law will focus on commerce, property, title etc.

Interestingly, alot of argument have trailed this latest development with many for and others against. The against, have sort to know why such anti peoples law since Nigeria is still a single entity. This school of thought believes that the Obasa law negates the principles of Nigeria constitution which grants all citizens equal right to live freely in any part of the country, do business and own properties.

Some are also asking the legitimacy of the so called law makers since many of them may not even be Lagos indigenes themselves. There are also those who feel that the new law will force many residents of Lagos to sort alternatives such as relocating their families and businesses to other areas of the country thereby shrinking business, development and devaluing properties and standard of living in Lagos state. There also those who believe that the law is targeted at the Igbos.

While I agree with all the above concerns, sincerely I am personally pleased with the new law and pray the Obasa law comes into effect very fast I mean like today. I am Igbo, my interest in the law is as high as those who for the law. I consider the new law as a step in the right direction. For me, it is the best law Lagos will ever make.

I am one of those Igbos who frequent home. I have the tradition of travelling home when ever I feel like and for each time I travel home I end up weeping for the region where I came from and so anything that will force my people back home is a welcome development. The Igbos have become too comfortable in another man's land that they have neglected their ancestral places.

In my purest form I have nothing against Igbos travelling to places and buying properties and owning businesses. But I feel that gesture must stop as far as Nigeria is concerned. In saner climes maybe yes but not in Nigeria. It has not paid off. Igbos have suffered so much for this singular action in Nigeria and enough is enough. The Igbos have been treated with the highest form of disdain even when it is clear they bring developement wherever they find themselves.

But whatever the case may be there is no excuse or consolation for the Igbos. They deserve whatever have befallen them in Nigeria.

Some years ago, late Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu visited Alaba International market, when he saw the heavy investment in alaba market, he wept. He asked a question requesting to know why Igbos came to another man's land to build such big market. Investement amounting to trillions of Nigeria. Painful to know that Ojukwu tears at Alaba did not change a thing. The Igbos even went further to buy and build.

Today, we have Alaba, Aspamda, Ladipo, computer village and many big markets like that all over Lagos. Same way the Igbos have in several places in the North and South. No lesson learnt. Everything is as usual even when there are obvious threats, harassment and intimidation signalling sinister motives to take over what belongs to them.

In Lagos for example, Igbos have continued to buy and build. Go to Banana Island, Parkview estate, Lekki, Ajah, Festac, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Surulere etc and see what Igbos are doing in terms of properties while their region is in near shamble. It is the same way they buy abroad and turning everywhere to their permanent home.

As bad as it sounds, whatever will force Igbos to come to their senses I support it. One Nigeria my foot. Who one Nigeria don help? Instead Igbos have paid heavily for it without any tangible compensation or apology from their attackers.

Obasa must be fast about this law. Next week is too far, today is the best. I don't care about the implication it beholds on Lagos, I am only interested in how Igbos can fully realize themselves and think home.

Well done Obasa.

Politics / The Man El-rufai And The Irresponsible Nigerian Church by TokunboCarsOnly: 9:21pm On Jun 07, 2023
Nasir El-rufai the former governor of Kaduna state is at it again. This time around he has revealed that the muslim-muslim ticket that brought President Tinubu and VP Shettima to power was a well orchestrated effort aimed at islamizing Nigeria and subjugating the Nigerian christian both politically and otherwise.

Since after watching the clip where El rufai made this assertion in Hausa language I have nothing but shed tears and felt deeply sorry for the Nigerian church. What we heard from El rufai may look slight. It may appear like the last kick of a dieing horse but no El rufai has just unlocked the real issue and to be sincere I will not exhornorate not even Tinubu from this.

But who is to be blamed? El rufai or the Nigerian church? While El-rufai should be arrested and prosecuted for this very bad statement which is capable of fueling political and religious crisis, I will wholeheartedly blame the church and the Nigerian Christians their I don't care attitude over many decades.

Sincerely speaking and without any form of apology, the Nigerian church is a shameless and irresponsible church. The Nigeria church is sick but the so called christians don't yet realize this. The Pastors are accomplices of El-rufai outburst. They dine with El-rufai and co in the night and come to church to preach politics is a dirty game.

The so called pastors are vultures, many have sold themselves to politicians. The christian body in Nigeria prides itself in pursing riches, tithe and offerings. The Pastors have become demi gods who use bullet proof cares, who build mansions and edifices neglecting the real work of salvation.

Today's church is all about building cathedral, in fact it is now competition. They are so shameless. Just look at the last election, it was clear that truly the Nigerian church parades certified false prophets who don't hear jack from heaven. Pastor Paul Adefarasin baptized us with the message of David and Saul, Adeboye kept on deceiving us with the rhetoric "are sure there will be election" till today I still don't understand what that question meant because God is not an author of confusion. The Igbo pastors were completely useless and helpless at the same time. I doubt any Igbo Pastor ever said a word. No cooperation among them nothing only beefing each other and coveting their congregants.

Honestly, why will El-rufai not say what he said. When he knows the Nigerian church is a toothless bulldog. Needless to mention christians massacred in their numbers within the last 20 years among them are pastors without the Nigerian church lifting a finger. Everyone is busy in the church yet doing nothing. The house of God have become a house of merchandise lacking in the real word of God which is able to make disciples.

El-rufai understands all these. He understands the Nigerian church is not worth more than a tissue paper. He knows they cant do nothing to him. He even knows the Nigeria church is divided among itself and all man to his tent. El-rufai knows the church in Nigeria is an irresponsible church. If not, by now aren't we suppose to hear strong statements from the so called men of faith calling for El-rufai arrest and prosecution?

Better still, by now what is wrong if we see one among them issue a decree and we see it happen where ever El-rufai is to serve as a deterrent to him and his co travellers after all Jesus was a man of war and peace. Back here we leave everything for God but the Muslims attack everything headlong.

Shame on the Nigeria church.

Properties / Only The Ignorant Calls Igbos Bigots. by TokunboCarsOnly: 7:57pm On Jun 07, 2023
How my SW brethren regard the Igbos as bigots baffles me and I don't know how many other people who feel same way. You are dead wrong if I can sojourn to a strange land, settle there, marry and bear children, own business or even buy a landed property yet you call me tribal bigot.

In Nigeria today, the most travelled tribe is the Igbos, next is the North and then the SS. Despite this known fact Igbos are regarded as bigot. That position is laughable because it is not true and does not reflect the reality on ground. If you are sincere to yourself, you can't visit Ladipo, Alaba and many other Igbo market in Lagos and then turn around to call the Igbos tribal bigot.

Politically, Just yesterday, I read a post of how Igbos have voted since democracy started in 1999. In that post, it was clear the Igbos have always voted people of other region against their own. The post clearly showed that in 1999, Igbos voted Obasanjo, 2007, Yara'adua, 2010, Jonathan, 2015, Atiku, for the first, in 2023 the Igbos decided to vote a more competent Obi yet they are regarded as bigots.

The real bigots are those who hardly travel to other regions. The real bigots are those who don't think travelling to other Nigerian region is worth a while and is part of education except it is London. The true bigots are those who by default do not have it in them to buy land and build in other people's region except it's their own region. The real bigots are those who use threat to scare away other Nigerians during election. The main bigots are those who don't think their own son who is a true lagosian should become governor because his mother and wife are Igbos but allows a man from Osun and other SW states to be their governor.

You can spill all you can, you can also distorts facts for all I care, the Igbos are the real Nigerians. It takes courage, faith and love to sojourn to strange lands and excel there. I wonder why other countries of the world don't have issues with Igbos rather gives them economic and political opportunities but only in Nigeria are they treated with hate, contempt and disdain.

These elements should be told that an old adage says, any village you go to and you don't find an Igbo man there, run because their is nothing profitable about that place. How on earth can anyone make false statement against the blessed Igbos if not for hate and jealousy.

Recently, I found out that the reason Igbos are hated especially in the SW is because of their penchant for success. It is a fact that our brothers in the SW will love the Igbos if they can become like Aboki who comes to Lagos as fruit seller, shoe shiner or a security man, stay in Lagos for fifty years and return Gombe or Kebbi the same way he came. Unfortunately for these elements, the Igbos are very developmental and progressive people.

Place an Igbo boy under bridge of Oshodi with no penny and watch him own a small provision shop in the next two years. That's who they are. God made them that way and no amount of hate can change it. Rather than suffocate yourself, get a life, work harder to overtake them else just keep shut forever.

Politics / Re: Lagos No-man's-land Law: An Exercise In Futility by TokunboCarsOnly: 7:23pm On Jun 07, 2023
I have said it severally and I will keep saying it, the Yorubas are the most insecure, jealous, hateful and tribalist anyone can think of. They have penchant for manufacturing evil and that is why they are good at political propaganda. Live with them in the same compound and see what they do. Pay house bills with them and see how they scheme, gang up against non indigenes, and manipulate everything to their favour.

I don't have any issue with whatever Law they want to bring up. You know why las las all these their evil machination is what will help Nigeria to breakup which I am praying for daily. I am tired of sharing same country with them. Again, in their formation of the new Law, they should remember they have sons and daughters in other regions and outside Nigeria. But no, because they are insecured and primitive they will never remember.

Yoruba, please speedy up whatever Law that you can to cage visitors in your land, but remember is still one Nigeria and it is only a matter of time. You claim to be educated, you taunt the North for not being as educated as you are but trust me Northerners are not as evil as you guys. Those guys up North are great and exposed minds than you people. Agendas you will never hear of in The North, SE and SS you hear in the SW. Infact, the SW teach other regions how to treat others with contempt. If you look back you will understand.

Check the history of deporting Nigerians back to their state of origin. Check the history of indigenes paying lesser school fees and hospital bills as against what visitors pay in youruba land. Even in real estate today, Yoruba landlord will bluntly tell you they want this tribe they don't want this tribe to occupy their house. Today, Igbo landlords in Lagos have copied that evil character and I don't blame them.

Everything about this race stinks. They are lazy, beggerly, dirty, lousy, ugly and evil merchants.

Politics / Re: Why South-South Should Produce Next Senate President – Wike (Video) by TokunboCarsOnly: 8:59am On Jun 07, 2023
Nigerian politicians are hypocrites and illiterates. It is the reason I don't regard them.

Wike is a liar without any iota of integrity. Wike is quick to count how many senate presidents SE has produced and how many from SS, so on that basis SS should produce the next one. But wike couldn't not support SE to produce a president instead he supported Tinubu who is coming from a region that has produced President and Vice since democracy started. Wike didn't see it fit to support Obi because SE have never had a president since democracy. So it has come to senate president, wike sees why it should be SS. Very useless man!

You guyz are the real hypocrites. If you like write from now till tomorrow there was nothing glorious about Tinubu supporting Buhari to become president. Back from when Buhari ruled Nigeria in military uniform, every sensible adult knew Buhari was a bad ruler. Your Tinubu knew that too, but because of his hate for Jonathan and his inglorious desire to cling to power that was why he felt Buhari should be supported. Infact his main calculation was that Buhari could die in office so he can manipulate the whole country through Osinbanjo but God disappointed him.

Secondly Mr. Man, why speak wrong of Buhari now? Why didn't you write this 4months ago? Oh you psycophantly waited for Buhari to go so you guyz in your usual ways can start castigating and destroying him. Shame on all of you evil Yoruba people. Suddenly the nation has found his voice.

Your Tinubu had better do well, if not he will receive it very hot from Nigerians. He had better know Nigeria is Lagos where he zombified every lagosian and had his way.

Rubbish!

The more reason I will not stop hating APC, the supporters and all they represent. They are demons. Just imagine the cheap blackmail. So NLC should fold hands and allow these wicked demons suffer the masses to death?

The same NLC APC used to fight in the past is now acting Obi script simply because NLC leader is Igbo and because he was on the same podium with PO during the election. Yorubas are everything evil. That tribe is wicked and cursed from hell. Yoruba is the problem of Nigeria not North.

Their hate for the Igbos is incomprehensible. What exactly are they fighting Igbos for? Pure inhuman people.

Politics / Judgement For The Hypocrites. by TokunboCarsOnly: 11:40pm On Jun 04, 2023
Politics / Even Tinubu Knows He Didn't Win The Election. by TokunboCarsOnly: 4:09pm On Jun 01, 2023
You can argue from now till tomorrow, you can call me names from now till next year, you can also abuse me from now till eternity it doesn't change the truth. Although the election matter is being challenged in court and even if the courts decides to pass judgement in favour of Tinubu it still does not change the truth which is that the man Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not win the election.

Tinubu knows this, his wife Oluremi knows this, their daughter iyaloja is aware, Seyi can't deny his father bought his way into power. Till this moment, Oluremi Tinubu is very angry with Mc Oluomo, Joe Igbokwe and many others for not delivering. It is a known fact that she bounced these men from seeing her husband in their Abuja residence after the election declaration. Her position and anger was very clear, how on earth could Obi win my husband in Lagos? She asked! To her, all the one million man match organized by Mc Oluomo and co were all scam. All the noise by Joe Igbokwe was for what he was getting from her husband. Notice that Mc. Oluomo and Joe Igbokwe have been silent and did anyone notice their presence at the inauguration? Oluremi feels nothing but that they failed her husband.

Interestingly, even the paid and unpaid social warriors who are spewing trash and attacking everyone online for speaking up against the outcome of the election knows Tinubu did not win the election. But because Nigeria is a desert filled with abnormal and emotional thinkers with people who reason from their anus, who support evil even when they are starving to death. People who call white black simply because it suits them that's why we are here now. But what these nitwits don't understand is that we all are not mad.

I recall in 2015 general election. Nigerians wanted a change. With the help of APC evil propagandas against the then government of Jonathan, Nigerians I can confirm voted Buhari and he was decleared the winner. I can never forget the jubilation that greeted the declaration. The whole streets went agog and in celebration. We are not all mad neither are we all blind as some folks think. Certain narratives can't be changed at least not when the facts are there. It was clear Buhari won Jonathan in 2015. Fast-forward to 2019 general election, Atiku won Buhari hands down. But because APC is a party that believes in rigging and buying their way into anything, the whole process was upturned and Buhari was decleared winner. Notice that the jubilation was not as loud as 2015 because the people felt disenfranchised. The wanted a change from APC back to PDP.

Over time, it has shown that Nigerians through the instrumentality of jubilation registers their feelings especially when the candidate they voted wins an election. Tell me, how many jubilation did you hear when INEC selected Tinubu? Did you notice that the atmosphere was that of a disappointment and like a national mourning day? Same thing played out during his very boring inauguration. The worst of it all is that even the mad dogs who support him couldn't even find it convenient to jubilate for him at least even if it was for eye service.

Take it or leave it, truth is sacred. Tinubu did not win the election and you know it. But because of psycophancy of the few we are where we are today. Nothing they say last forever. I wish Tinubu well because it is one thing to govern Lagos and another thing to govern Nigeria. My prayers are with him that God will guide him and direct him for us so that the pains of Buhari regime will not surface again or even more because it will not be funny.

There is a reason why every conscientized voice should speak up against the Tinubu attitude of money can give me anything I want. Money is not everything. We can't throw morals away and expect a secured posterity. People should start thinking of the consequences of their actions, that is what many don't want to agree with. Tinubu is already sowing a dangerous political seed but alot of his supporters don't want to reckon with this obvious fact.

Why does it shock you when you read that a seventeen years old boy slaughtered his girl friend for money ritual? Why does it shock you? The question is who taught him? Where did he learn it from? Growing up, I saw older men like Tinubu prioritize doing the right thing. Eschewing evil and preaching moral, and we had a better society. But today what do we have, children who believe in making money at twelve. Children who believe money can buy them anything so no need to follow the process, no need for hard work and needless of waiting for their time. Men like Tinubu are teaching these young ones the wrong morals.

When you say these things some animals will call you names. Some of the things you cheer today will come back to consume you in the next ten years. It is the law of karma. It says whatever a man sow he will reap. It baffles me how we look forward to American and France elections. We desire the best of leaders for them but back home we enthrone demons and clueless men in position of authority. Again I ask, what is wrong with Nigerians?

Let me conclude by saying again that may Tinubu do well, and I am damn serious about this prayer. Because there will be no excuse for him. He should engage Nigerians for better governance. Nigerians have groaned enough and any other groaning may not be a nice one. It is not enough to say emi'lokan. It is not enough to call yourself a president the responsibilities are enormous and Tinubu had better do well.

Politics / Those Who Are Cheering Tinubu Had Better Listen To The Voice Of Conscience. by TokunboCarsOnly: 12:06am On Jun 01, 2023
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced fuel subsidy removal at his inauguration venue. Boom, price of PMS has gone so high within hours after. In some quarters 400, 550, 650, 1000 per litre and so on. Consequently, fuel scarcity is back, the cues are back, commuters are paying times 3 to get to thier destinations. To put it straight Nigerians have been thrown into another groaning.

I have a question: are we cursed in this nation? Are we the children of a lesser God? In our street parlance who did we offend in Nigeria?

This piece is not intended to disparage anyone or tribe. But I have serious issues with those who still cheer the man Tinubu. I had a heated debate on fuel subsidy today with some guys all from the SW and I was dazed the level of defence for this Ill thought out decision. Although at a point they seemed to agree with some of my point.

I have told those who care to listen, Africans are emotional leaders. They are brainless, thoughtless and careless. Fuel subsidy has been an issue on the front burner for some time now. Personally, I agree that fuel subsidy should be removed. I understand the tendency for us to pay a little more higher when subsidy is removed. So I have no issue with it's removal.

But in all fairness, I have issue with the manner, hasty and irrational way Tinubu removed subsidy. There is something about leadership, it is about foreseeing the likely effect of every action. Leadership is beyond showmanship. It is understanding the pulse of your people and knowing the right or wrong time for certain critical decisions. Tinubu got it all wrong in this instance.

For goodness sake, what stops President Tinubu from resuming office first, pilot the affairs of the nation for at least 3months, engage critical stakeholders on this subject matter before taking a productive decision. By the way, who says subsidy can not be removed gradually to allow the masses adjust to it. For example, the removal can be broken into three phases, and for every quarter or so a phase is removed.

In saner climes, adequate solutions are put in place to cushion the effect of such critical decision. It is only in Africa that the so called leaders are nothing but brainless performers.

It also baffles me how Tinubu in all his acclaimed leadership acumen did not consult first to understand why the man Buhari left subsidy for him or was Buhari not a strong man enough? Take it or you leave it, Tinubu first outing was a total failure.

Considering the hardship Nigerians are already faced with as orchestrated by the failed Buhari government, Tinubu ought to have acted better. But of course what do you expect from a man who believes in jaguda way of doing everything. The statement he made about fuel subsidy was purely out of ignorance and maybe for showmanship.

I laugh at people who have taken it upon themselves to defend Tinubu and in turn blaming oil marketers. Of course what did you expect of these businessmen? To fold their arms and watch you? I agree we are all part of the problem in Nigeria, but that is the unfortunate country we are all locked up in. Be that as it may, Tinubu must not be shielded from this glaringly obvious mess of subsidy removal. The marketers who took advantage of mere pronouncement as some mofos put it are evil but the President must own up to this mes
Again, those suffering and smiling Nigerians who cheer this reckless and ill timely decision my stop now. I understand there are hypocrites and psycophants but not again. We have had one too many already sincerely not anymore.

President Tinubu must justify the mandate he claims he won by writing his name on the sands of time. H can not afford to fail

Politics / With Everything Shady About Tinubu, Is He Really Worth The Stress? by TokunboCarsOnly: 12:09pm On May 20, 2023
As Nigeria and Nigerians prepare for the swearing in of the president-elect as decleared by INEC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, it is important for us to brace up for what is to come with the emergence of Asiwaju. Truth they say is bitter, but it must socrosanctly be told, the reason is simple, we can not build a healthy society on lies but on justice, equity and fairness. Tinubu is not worthy to be called the president of any Nation and I will point out some of the reasons for which i said so.

Unfortunately, Nigeria has been so damaged along religious and tribal lines that many no longer see certain things as wrong simply because it favours them or their kingsmen. The just concluded presidential and state election was a huge eye opener to the many hypocrisy that has kept our nation on her knee for too long while other nations make appreciable progress..

Interestingly, there is an adage that says "as a man make his bed so he will lie on it" it is only a matter of time for the SW to understand that the infested wood they brought into the house can only consume them. SW played politics of hate and bitterness as if another election will not come. They empowered their foot solders to ensure that a certain tribe was not allowed to vote except they are willing to vote Tinubu.

Let me say it again, that after the rain comes sunshine. One question every SWterner especially those who supported the candidacy of Tinubu must ask themselves is, is Tinubu as a man worth all the troubles? A man who have empowered many for his own gains. A man who single handedly pocket a whole state like Lagos and decides who is who. A man who in all intent and purpose have proven to be a civilian dictator.

Away from all the above, everyone who have supported the emergence of Tinubu as President should be worried about the future especially that of the SW. Today, the number of thugs in the SW has greatly increased. Numbers of wanabe agberos who don't give a damn about education anymore is on the rise courtesy of Tinubu and his political style of grab it all anyhow, by force, by intimidation and by harassment.

I am in doubt of Tinubu presidency. A man who have proven to believe so much in getting everything done through manipulations can't make a good president. A man who believes he can afford even demonic spirits with money and not by following due process will definitely make a bad leader. A man who believes in spreading lies and hate during elections will not be anything more than a calamity.

We must not also forget that till date everything about Tinubu is shady and in doubt. His family line, education, name, business and wealth are all a topic of debate in majority of the quarters. The reality before Nigerians if Tinubu is eventually sworn in on May 29th is that many Nigerian youths especially from the SW having learnt to play dirty politics will become merchants of death, desperados and non state actors of all the evil they have learnt and SW will become very unsafe region for that purpose.

Before, I will be called all sort for this trash, let me make it clear that I do not hate the Yoruba people. I sincerely wish someone like Osinbanjo, Adeshina or Fashola was presented for the election. My point is we can do better and we deserve better. Forget all the lies and propaganda you read or hear, Tinubu will not be any better than Buhari.

But while we fold our arms and watch as events unfolds it is imperative to point out that of course democracy has come to stay, but we must be careful how we play it's politics, if not it's only a matter of time. Again, we can not continue to recycle men and women of questionable character and expect a near Dubai in Nigeria.

It’s been sermon after sermon

Epistles after epistles

Una no dey tire?

Yesterday, I saw one of you who is a cobbler. I recall also he is a card carrying member of the useless and soul-less APC. He almost fought me during the election for refusing to vote APC but I didn't care and was more resolute than he was.

I met him dragging his I better pass my neighbour generator at his cobbler shop, apparently he wanted to put it on to enable him file a customers bata. Guess what the robe of the tiger gen cut and he started lamenting how Nigeria is not working and how lack of Nepa light was destroying his business and costing him so much.

In my mind I laughed at him but he didn't know. He has collected the small change they gave him during the election to do dirty job. He has supported violence against voters. He also supported thuggery during the election. Now he is complaining of how bad Nigeria is because his Tiger gen robe cut.

Wailing will be the portion of you lot for long. Sebi you prefer dead body in aso rock than a smart someone from another region who can fix the mess. Una go hear am. Just chill!

Politics / Truth Is Bitter, But This Is The Truth. by TokunboCarsOnly: 8:20am On Apr 22, 2023
Nigeria is going through STATE CAPTURE before our eyes..

NDLEA
DSS
POLICE
INEC
JUDICIARY

Are all under the drug baron’s control..

There is only one institution that is yet to be captured and it’s the Nigerian Military and they are going for it soon.

Those who cheer and encourage the evil party APC will understand soonest. Even PDP was not as terrible as this. The whole of worst military dictatorship was a child's play compare to APC.

Yet some folks know this, they are suffering it yet support. But the bible is clear, it says evil will not depart from the house of the wicked. Those who understand certain things need not argue with this evil supporters.

Just leave them

Politics / APC Is An Evil Party, An Occult And A Terror Organization. by TokunboCarsOnly: 3:27am On Apr 19, 2023
#PeterObi Dodged A Bullet
By COC (@TweetMOPOL)

Peter Obi just evaded the Nnamdi Kanu treatment by a whisker.

Looking back at the last few weeks, I can infer (even though with limited confidence) that there was a plot by the ruling party to proscribe the Obidient movement as a terrorist group.

Let me explain.
They seem to have planned multiple terrorist-like events in quick succession, then to proscribe the group locally, and go to the international media with reports.

1- The “Igbo leader” of no known or active Igbo group threatening to bring a proscribed group to Lagos.
2- The man planted in the plane to cause mayhem and specifically instigate Obidients in the plane to come to his aid. It would have been termed as aeroplane hijacking which is taken very serious internationally.
3- “Religious war doctored phone conversation”
4- Then quickly carry these reports to US (knowing their history with 9-11) and proscribe the movement.
5- Then have local respected “self proclaimed neutral” figures (like Wole Soyinka) comment on the events to give it more legitimacy.
It was well coordinated but they didn’t get the expected reaction.

Obidients castigated the “Igbo Chief” and the flight disruptor, investigated them and found out that none of them have records of being obidients. If anything, they have worked for other parties.

They still went ahead with their failed plan, but all they had to go with was Datti’s statements. They couldn’t find any quote to directly implicate Peter Obi. Now it’s backfiring internationally, and locally.

The reason for this thread is to warn obidients to be careful and tactical. The people you are against only play dirty. Analyse every good and bad news before going with it.

The outcome could have been catastrophic if Obidients helped that man in the plane screaming “obidients”.

Also, they keep trying to divide you on tribal lines. Igbo Obidients in particular need to understand that they are trying to isolate you from other tribes. The onus is more on you to be tolerant and focus on the task. You have a lot of yorubas with you, don’t focus on the bigots.

You have many Northerners with you too. The ones not with you mostly wanted Atiku as first choice. The ruling party does not have real support anywhere.
You must remember that your fight is against them, not the North.

Remain peaceful, united and tactical.
For the avoidance of doubt, the terrorist proscription ploy is my feeling from my assessment of recent events. An opinion, rather than a verifiable fact.

However, it is to be taken seriously. Be careful. Look out for traps. You’re dealing with Evil beings.

Copied!
