Politics › The Evil Called Quota System As Perpetrated By The Northern Elite Class! by tomakint(op):
This is my problem with Nigeria.
Two kids were born August 31st, 1980, one in Kano (Abdul) another in Enugu (Emeka). They go to primary school in those areas and get to Primary 6, now the twist begins. They both take Federal Common Entrance, Emeka scores 168/200 and Abdul 16/200. For some silly quota system, they both end up in the same class at Federal Government College, Enugu (FGCE). Emeka continues to come 1st-3rd in the class of 30 and Abdul 25-29th/30. 6 years later, WASCE and JAMB are taken. Emeka had 6As and 2Cs (WASCE) and 286/400 (JAMB) while Abdul had 5Cs and 2Ps and 106/400 in JAMB.

Again by a warped and weird stroke they end up in the same Law Faculty in University of Nigeria, Enugu campus. 5years later Emeka graduates with 2-1 and Abdul with a Pass! Emeka is done with Law school at Abuja - No Job after NYSC. Abdul as soon as he gets out of Abuja Law school then one year NYSC gets a job as a Magistrate at the Federal Magistrate Court Abuja, 2 years later he is promoted as a Judge. Emeka still struggling, decides to join some Trio Igbo Law outfit in Abuja as a junior lawyer. 5 years later he is still carrying files and coming to defend low level cases at Abdul's court.

Now, you are Emeka or Emeka's relative, kit and kin, will you want Nigeria to continue like this. No way! That's the problem with Nigeria as it is. It's strongly skewed to the advantage of a particular ethnic group in Nigeria and cannot continue. Plain and Simple!!!

This is a serious case coming from Nnamdi Kanu's smartness. Biafra was initially an abomination shortly after the Civil War but right now, Kanu has taken Biafran to a new level and height.

OZAOEKPE:
Tinubu was tried by this same CCB but was discharged and the likes of omenka, midolian, uncle Gbawe, egift, modath and co hailed the judiciary and condemned the presidency then as one that wants to victimize tinubu. Today, the same CCB discharged saraki and those BMC are bust castigating the judiciary. You cannot call tinubu a saint and expect me to call saraki a sinner, saraki is to kwara what tinubu is to Lagos state, until we don't take sides then we heading somewhere. Our problem as discussed in an economics class in my school days is that of poor morale values, until that is worked on I don't see corruption going anywhere.

Buhari himself is a bloody corrupt ani mal, one that refuses to resign even when he's not fit physically, mentally and otherwise to lead us, yet you guys are not asking for his resignation. What is more corrupt than a half-dead man wanting to rule us by force and by firehuh?

Sarrki, you need to change from being an ass licker to speaking the truth...
As much as I don't want Saraki at all as Senate President going by his antecedents I must accept the fact that you did clear cut justice on your submissions here. You are truly a fantastic political analyst with a good sense of history.

The Executive presents a budget. The Legislators scrutinize and endorse. I don't understand where the Senators got the power to add or remove project on a budget presented to them.

The Legislator's function on budgetary matter is basically for checks and balances to ensure transparency and accountability.

Saraki is just an enemy of this Administration. He only wants to drag power. He doesn't have the masses at heart. He is there for his personal interest.
End of discussion my brother. I hope I am permitted to lift this? Succinctly put. This is likely going to be this spoilt brat (Saraki) downfall. Saraki is a pure and dirty, arrogant rogue.

I can't degenerate into rumor mongering. A few people on NL know me in person and hence know how much I will protect my integrity.
This has been a common knowledge within the presidency for sometime now but has been kept guarded. That's one of the major reasons why almost everybody is barred from him, Afterall, if he was just sick, close friends and associates would be allowed to see him, there is nothing wrong in being sick. But his inability to recognise them will spark off some wrong signals on his capability to govern the nation and they don't want that.
But just google and you'll see that a few online media sites had sneaked it out, even for over a month now
I believe your source.....

Many ignorant ppl here and instead for them to use their brains to do researchon historical facts they will be throwing insults all around like rabid dying dogs. It is a known fact that abiola invited the military to shove aside shonekan government and he even sponsored the coup. Abacha reneged on the agreement with abiola and offered to pay him back all the money he has spent which abiola vehemently refused. And this wasnt the first time mko sponsored military take over in africa . It is a common knowledge that he single handed finance the military take over in a east african country.

Politics › Abiola Was The Architect Of His Own Misfortune - Anenih by tomakint(op): 6:28am On Jun 13, 2017
Tony Anenih, former board of trustees chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has again spoke on June 12, 1993 annulled election.

Anenih, who was the chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), on which platform M.K.O Abiola ran for president, said the late politician was the architect of his own misfortune; THE CABLE reports. He made the claim in his book, ‘My life and Nigerian Politics’ launched earlier in the year.

Anenih claimed that Abiola willfully invited Sani Abacha to oust the interim national government headed by Ernest Shonekan, which would paved the way for his eventual take over of the government.

God bless your soul @op for this eye-opening piece. Pastor Tunde Bakare was too naive on his judgments on Buhari and to me that's not Biblical because as a man of God, he ought to hear from God before uttering anything concerning Buhari his "sudden friend"! I am sure Pastor Tunde Bakare is learning to be "quiet" more before talking.

I concur totally to this by FFK! We are such a lying people that will always heap our shortcomings on God and other supernatural beings. The truth is, British created Nigeria by working on the greed of the elite class of those years and we have a right to liberate ourselves from this bondage because God hates bondage and right now Nigeria is under bondage.
