I don't know why some people fail to realize that all is vanity. No matter the position you attain, you will surely die someday so why kill your fellow human because of power.
I was moved to tears seeing d picture and I pray that as the Lord liveth, the perpetrators of this heinous crime would not go unpunished.

RIP Dr Oguntuase!

Not everyone is interested in marriage, get that into your smal head.
Secondly most men are becoming very lazy, they graduate at 24 and live with parents till they are 32years praying and fasting for a job and finally when they get one it takes them about 3years to settle in before they start thinking about marriage.
Lastly most available bachelors do not want to settle until they enjoy life to the fullest. Different girlfriends here and there or sometimes they do not see the need to keep a girlfriend. They can cook, wash clean and self-service when they are hot so they donot need a gf or wife.
Don't blame the girls, our boys are becoming more irresponsible.
I get your point here but it's shallow. Have you moved closer to ladies? I have quite a number of female friends and I have seen responsible, hardworking and promising young men being turned down by ladies because they don't have a car or they don't earn much or for some other shallow reasons.

I still maintain my submission. A lady shouldn't be too choosy in her younger years or she'll up regretting it.

RomanceRe: Need Advise:she Is 35 And Doesn't Even Have Toasters by tomzman: 2:45pm On Dec 25, 2014
You see what you get when you are too choosy when it comes to suitors. Except a lady is not fine or lacks good character or is lacking in assets wink or there are some spiritual forces following her, there is no way on earth guys wouldn't troop around her especially when she is between the age of 16-25. Anything after that age, the number tends to reduce drastically as most guys would consider her as old. It is very much unlikely that even a 37yr old unmarried man would decide to go for a 35yr old lady if he decides to get married. He would most likely prefer a much younger woman.

Well, at 35, only divine intervention is left. Let her be more prayerful and be a little more social. Let her go out more with friends and drop the introvert attitude. Though I have seen a woman of close to 40yrs get married in my church, it's not my prayer for any lady cos I know what the lady went through. So ladies, if you really desire to get married, dont be overchoosy (if there's any word like that) in your young age cos you'll end up regretting it.

Of a truth, it's not as if GMB is more qualified. The only reason I would vote for him is because I need a change. I'm tired of PDP!
PoliticsRe: This Was How President Jonathan Met Our Railway System (Pictures) by tomzman: 11:42am On Dec 20, 2014
Nigerians and mediocrity. The govt gives u substandard projects at mind boggling cost and some morons would come online and be singing praises. I'm always moved to tears each time I see a 'train' passing through Yaba. Nigeria would not get better if we continue praising govt for delivering substandard products. Some morons on the forum are even thanking GEJ as if he did it with his money. Nigerians need a change of mentality!

RomanceRe: How To Decently Tell A Guy You Are In Love With Him - Nairalander Needs Advice. by tomzman: 3:32pm On Dec 18, 2014
Hmmn if intimacy is already involved at this stage then I'm smh. There's no need telling him bluntly about you having feelings for him. Simply be a little more over him and watch his reaction. If he also feels the same way, you would be able to decipher from his reactions.

Sometimes, I'm tempted to ask God why He made me a Nigerian. When would we learn to think outside the box. A project that sure to b abandoned is what is making some morons shout GEJ till 2019. I wonder wen Nigerians would come out of our folly. You all should take a trip to Germany and see wat a railway system looks like. Rubbish!

TravelRe: German Embassy And Visa by tomzman: 7:44am On Sep 20, 2014
Eke40seven: If you you expect to get the information you seek in a summarised response then you will be disappointed.
However, Google, 'DAAD international students' to get a general information on studies in Germany and also choose the courses of your wish and get their requirements and mode of application. The tool on the site is very useful in searching for the schools. The search can be narrowed down to criteria like courses, language requirements, period of study, tuition, etc.
Google, 'German embassy in Nigeria- checklist for students visa' in order to get what you are required of in order to obtain the visa.
Note that the financial requirements for obtaining visa include opening a blocked account with €8000 or getting a sponsor residing in Germany who can obtain a sponsorship letter for you.
Student life in Germany is very good and the future is bright, there are a lot of English taught courses and most of the schools are tuition free.
I think I am beginning to 'bottle-feed' you at this point since you are masters student.
I will advise you to read 30-40 pages back and you will be surprised at the number of times this info you seek and more has been answered, broken down to soft tiny pieces for the softest of teeth to crush.
Hope you find it useful.
Good luck.
Thanks man

Hello guys. I scanned through some of the pages of this thread and I must say that I got one or two things. I intend going for a masters in a business or finance-related discipline in Germany and I'll like anyone with experience concerning this to help me out. I'll like to know what steps to take to go about it. Visa and admission requirements, student life over there and any general advice or piece of information concerning the issue would be appreciated.
