Christianity EtcWhy Do People Judge This Man Tb Joshua ? by Tonyet1(op): 12:40pm On Feb 23, 2009
i have often heard and seen the way folks criticize this man TB Joshua

Yeah yeah i aint member of his synagogue church, nor a follower of him either, but i was going through some of his work on the cable network, and some thoughts came to me which i want every true Christian to judge reasonably

One problem I have always had with this my denomination –Pentecostalism is the way we are always too fast to judge people without at least giving a rethink or a fresh think, we join the bullion van of critics and slander people and at the end give them a bad name to stick likewise

Read and judge this

1. A TRUE MINISTER IS A SERVANT TO THE PEOPLE, ISN’T IT?

he who must be the greatest must serve others
Matthew 20:26-28

26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—

28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
NIV
This man gives money, alms, help, shelter, clothing to people as far as I know how many of our MOGs do really serve today?,They don’t yet they all open their mouth wide to criticise someone we all know and see doing just what the bible said

2. A TRUE MINISTER WILL BE ACCUSED OF USING MYSTICISM JUST AS JESUS WAS ACCUSED TOO, ISN’T IT?

Matthew 10:22

22 And you will be hated by all for My name's sake, but he who perseveres and endures to the end will be saved [from spiritual disease and death in the world to come].
AMP

|||||

25 It is sufficient for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant or slave like his master. If they have called the Master of the house Beelzebub [Prince of Demons], how much more will they speak evil of those of His household. [2 Kings 1:2.]
Sometime late 2001 and all through 2002, you could remember the bickering between the G.Os of Christ Embassy(Chris Oyakhilome), Household of God (Chris Okotie), Synagogue Church (TB Joshua),. Pst Okotie accused the duo of pairing up and using mystical means to church administration, miracles, and Divinity. None of these men replied back as offensive/defensive, but rather kept a peace, then almost everyone in the system plainly believed and took side with the head of Household of God, I too took side I wont lie.

Now after some good yrs gone by, we can all see and testify of the levels and achievements of the trios (3 men I mean)

3. A TRUE MINISTER MUST PERFORM SIGNS AND WONDERS, ISN’T IT?

Luke 1:17-18

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
NKJV
We know and have all read testimonies of Peter, James and John, Paul and Silas in the bible of the many signs and wonders they performed, now I asked myself, if this so called man we accuse of falsehood in the body of Christ, really perform all miracles we see where blind eyes are opened, deaf ears are opened, cripple walk and so forth then is it not a shame on CHRISTIANITY and our so called MOGs that they use almost the whole day praying against ordinary headache that yet still doesn’t go?., so since when did the “labeled devil” start performing witty signs and wonders more than the 21st century believers

There are so many instances I can start giving here but space wont permit me, if you feel the man TB Joshua is false state why and give reasons, lets learn and no more

server34:
U are very wrong for using the term KNOWINGLY. Guess where some of the money that is put into d ATM comes from? From the customers.

U know what happens wen d ATM has so many hits, and is fast running out of cash (mint and clean notes from the CBN)? And at the same time, there is a lot of cash in d bank coming from traders and businessmen?
I'll tell u wat we do. We carefully sort out the neat notes from the cash deposits we receive from our customers to use for the ATM. It saves u d stress of waiting for the cash movers (bullion vans) and losing ur ATM customers. It also helps u reduce the amount of cash present in d bank for security reasons.

Guess How d sorting is done? There are no special machines yet for that, and it is done by hand. So all of the fake money came from the customers and not from the bank. And guess who bears the blame and pays for the fake money that a customer returns from the ATM? The same bank staff dat was responsible for sorting the money. And u know he is only human and possibly could miss spotting out 1 fake note from over 500,000 notes.

So again, u cant put the entire blame on the bank. And if any customer complains about a fake note, it is immediately replaced, the bank bearing the cost again.

And pls, to all of u that are using harsh words on me, take it easy oh. No be my papa get bank. I only worked there for about a year and some months, and moved on. I'm only here to share d wealth of experience I gathered for the benefit of banks' reputation. If u mention server34 in ur post again, Ma sepe fun eh oh.  smiley
@server34

brother i will not agree with what you are trying to oppose Outstrip for, is it not the responsibility of the banks or bankers to sort out bad notes from the good ones, or what do they do there, if not to give costumers good service

the issue of exhaustive monvey from the atm is an overstatement, becos if i should judge by what u said, it means it is this same bankers that put the money into the atm, or arent they?, if yes, so who is to be blamed

i dont know whats with this bank that almost everyone complain abt them
BusinessRe: What Was Your Worst Experience With Our Nigerian Banks? by Tonyet1(op): 4:45pm On Feb 16, 2009
@ Mr. server34,

thank God someone from the banking sector could really come to our aid here and answer some questions

I m the poster, first of all, i want to categorically state that i have never revealed my pin or password to anyone whatsoever, it may surprise you to know that even my parents and friends dont even know if i have an atm card so how on planet earth could someone hack my password or pin if not a "spirit" so help me out here.

infact to d more precised, the name of the bank is UBA

and my cousin sister once complained likewise, same with my dad

i ask the question, why must they always gove the flimsy excuses that we have revealed our password or pin, "if some are foolish not everyone is"

Sorry.I am going to give names of banks and location to let them knw that there are zillions of problems with Nigerian banks

1) I paid in a cheque of 30k into Bank PHB(from a BankPHB to BankPHB cheque),Evo road opposite everyday supermarket.4 days later the cheque payment had not reflected.Even though that the cheque didnt go thru CBN clearing house. Not until my friend tried to cash the money from her acc 4 days later, they told her that there was insufficient funds in the acc.I had to go back with my deposit slip and showed them before we discovered that the "banker" that i paid the cheque to forgot to post.Even after 4 days!!
men this is very strange o, and you see them always business, but busy doing nothing

zesty:
2) FCMB G.R.A. junction. My NYSC acc was domiciled with the bank on Ikwerre road.Just before our passing out,i enquired frm them if i culd stl withdraw my money frm the acc even after submitting my NYSC ID card, and they told me that as long as my picture and signature is scannedinto the system, i can always withdraw.2 weeks later, when i went to FCMB,G.R.A. juction, they told i culd nt withdraw my money because i was no longer a serving corper and i was insisting that it was my money and i was told otherwise,a "gentleman banker" sitting behind the payin cashiers barked out sayin "who told u that its ur money?if ure nt careful i will work u out of this bank"!!!!
God have mercy, hmmm, i thought i am the only one who see them doing this, the most annoying part is that at first they tend to put up a smiling and friendly counternance as soon as the hold grip of your money, men you are on your own.

zesty:
3)Oceanic bank circular rd.I used their ATM machine and some funny looking N1,000 notes were dispensed to me.I went inside and asked one of the cashiers to pls check the note and found out that the machine dispensed counterfeit note to me.I had 2 threaten fire and brimstone b4 the cash officer (one very rude and patronizin lady) saw it fit to replace the money for me.
i dont really know this connection oceanic banks have with counterfeit money, my brother one time tried withdrawing some good amount from his account with this bank and the same was the case, if not for a friend we had with the bank we would have complained all in vain that day

zesty:
Really there are alot of crazy things that happen in banks that makes them look like certified thieves.Do you know that for a corporate acc that has online banking,BankPHB deducts the sum of N1,000 monthly just for having online access to your account?!!!!
So every month 1k out of the account.

These banks are just here to rip pple off their hard earned monies
with Bank PHB? God have mercy oh! shocked shocked shocked
