This news was on frontpage yesterday and the police chief even confirmed that the man was killed. I guess they've had their usual meeting and then decided to come and lie to Nigerians as usual since they know that a lot of us are gullible. The NPF is a disgrace and so is the government of this country. https://www.nairaland.com/2203856/apc-house-assembly-candidate-killed |
Ishilove I hail o! No comments and straight to lalasticlala. Edited: See as NLers dey hustle to make comments on lalasticlala |

mrnilobrawn:Go and start reading from page 85 or 86, you'll enjoy it. |
Seun, your attention is needed here. There's currently a topic on the front page which is likely to be false. The topic was created to day and moved to the front page most likely because it was about Aisha Buhari and a fake certificate. It's not a good idea if you knowingly or unknowingly allow your site to be used in spreading lies, believe me the people who are benefitting from these lies today will turn around and 'badmouth' this site tomorrow if the same is done to them. As for this topic, the source is: http://www.osundefender.org/?p=208656 In addition to this topic, I commented on another topic about Hanks Anuku which was an obvious falsehood two weeks ago, I provided links to the original story to prove my claims and nothing was done. I believe the job of the Mods is to vet stories before moving them to the frontpage as well as removing any wrong one from the said page; if that is the case, I will have to say your Mods are lax in their duties. Your disclaimer has you covered, but it might not mean much when it is considered that your paid/unpaid Mods are responsible for moving topics to the frontpage. |
Setaje:Most probably did not bother to read through the post, because I see no reason why anyone would not be shocked by the words in bold fonts. It has been going on for years and no one is doing anything about it, our leaders and politicians are more concerned with filling their pockets with public money. |
babyosisi:And one official of a certain party here in Naija is accusing the Ogun State gov. of building bridges where there are no rivers. |
SeverusSnape:Oga, you don't have to doubt everything that paints your preferred candidate in the negative; the guy was right. http://m.thinkafricapress.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fthinkafricapress.com%2Fpolitics%2Fafrica-has-its-say-12th-islamic-summit#2594 |
ocelot2006:I'm guessing you live in Uyo else you'd have known about this if you live in any of those villages close to a river that is large enough for transportation. Those that regularly go to Cameroon to buy goods are usually the worst hit. |
This happens all the time in Akwa Ibom and has been going on for years, yet nothing was done about it. The militants are probably leftovers from the days of Niger Delta struggles who have refused to give up the old life. |
olaberry: The Application form link is not opening? What do I do please? Been trying sincego to www.faanrecruitment.com/application-form |
I came across this website a few minutes ago detailing the plans of the above named candidates for Nigerians if elected. So, Nigerians don't be deceived, don't let anyone tell you that the opposition does not have plans for you, take your time to read through and make your decisions as you should based on what is on offer. https://www.profyemiosinbajo.com/our-manifesto/ I hope to see such from other candidates and I'm on the look out for them. Wow! Why the dearth of comments? OP, you did not mention the lack of suitable equipments, especially in the sciences and engineering where lots of experiment and associated data are required. |
angels09:Wow! Just saw your modified post. |
angels09:Was he part of TAN too? I never knew because I don't follow anything TAN, I only watch the ads. Please enlighten me more. |
aresa:I have to commend you greatly for standing your ground, it is not an easy thing to do in the midst of a semi-literate, ignorant bunch. Even with enough evidence provided as to why Fayose should pay the salary owed, some of them like the poster above (kenex) will still come here to demonstrate their ignorance and gullibility. |
I have decided to create this thread just for one reason: that Nigerians are gullible and usually do not bother to verify whatever they read or hear before passing judgement. It is no wonder then that a governor in person of Ayodele Fayose repeatedly lies to the public and is never questioned, the thread below is an example. https://www.nairaland.com/2062818/no-september-salary-now-fayose/ The comments on the thread above smacks of a high degree of ignorance. In summary, Fayemi did not pay September salary- yes, why? the state allocation was witheld, has it now been paid? - yes, to whom?- Ayo Fayose, did Fayose tell this to the people of Ekiti? - no (they know anyway). So my question is this: why should Fayose refuse to pay September salary when he was the one who received the allocation for that month? http://dailypost.ng/2014/11/04/apc-warns-fayose-increasing-joblessness-ekiti/ |
anonimi:This answers your question perfectly! http://dailypost.ng/2014/11/04/apc-warns-fayose-increasing-joblessness-ekiti/ |
anonimi:I'm going to ignore the words in red, but will answer your question. I was in Ado Ekiti throughout Oct and Nov. and it was well known that the allocation in question only came in after Fayose was sworn in. These things usually do not find their way into the papers as I am sure you already know. Fayose is a chronic liar who will say anything just to get on the side of the masses, the links below will show you the kind of politics your niger delta president has been playing with the allocation to opposition states. http://ekitistate.gov.ng/2014/09/fayemi-assures-ekiti-workers-of-payment-of-august-salary/ http://www.punchng.com/news/debt-your-allegations-are-fraudulent-fayemi-replies-fayose/ http://www.ekekeee.com/ayo-oyalowo-dwindling-federal-allocation-challenges-development-kwara-case-study/ Modification: realnaijaa @10:14pm just repeated what I said; since he claims he's a civil servant, I'd suggest you contact a civil servant in Ekiti state if you know one for verification. I did not keep a specific record of the release date, but I knew it was released after Fayose assumed office. |
barcanista:I had to quote because of your reputation here on NL. One would think that someone of such reputation should have done a little bit of research as to why the workers were owed in the first place and not hurry to comment in order to curry favour. Ekiti is a 'civil service state', it relies on federal allocation to pay its workers. The question should be why the allocation for September was witheld. |
TheRealAdonye:If what you said is true, the INEC staff at Ado-Odo/Ota LGA can add incompetence to its already growing list of negative attributes. I went with an handwritten letter only to be told that it must be typewritten. |
Johnnyessence:I'm tired of calling ICCC(the numbers you posted above), now I want to speak to the head honcho. I have gone through the process before as I have already submitted an application in August with my TVC only to be informed (with an apology) that I have to obtain my PVC before I can even apply for transfer. So, I travelled down to Ile-Ife (Osun State) to obtain the PVC in November and the rest you already know. |
Johnnyessence:Amen. |
masterpower:After warning someone to guard his tongue, you went ahead to do the opposite of what you advised. Hope you know that the person who made the statement about making Nigeria ungovernable is a PDP member and that the statement was wrongly attributed to Buhari by Reuben Abati? Ironic isn't it? http://dailypost.ng/2013/01/13/presidency-begs-buhari-to-settle-slander-case-out-of-court/ http://ends.ng/fact-it-was-pdp-that-promised-to-make-nigeria-ungovernable-in-2011-buhari-never-did/ |
Has anyone here even tried the procedure? Based on what I saw in my LG, people are beginning to lose hope in the transfer process due to the fact that no one is attending to them. Imagine going to a place for about a month (at no little cost) and not have anything to show for it. I hope INEC is not codedly trying to disenfranchise Nigerians? P.S: If there's anyone out there who has Jega Official email address, kindly provide me with it. |
What a big lie! I can assure you that the electoral officer in Ado-Odo/Ota LGA of Ogun State has not been to his office even for a day in December despite the hundreds of voters who have been there to have their registration transferred. INEC's rude staff there is not making matters easy to bear; save for a few polite ones, the whole lot attend to voters like they're doing us a favour. The procedure is not as difficult as it sounds, just type a letter (I was told it must be typewritten) to the Resident Electoral Commissioner of the state you're transferring to and make a photocopy (front and back) of your PVC, you'll be given a form at the INEC office which will be filled and submitted with your application and that's all. P.S: Whoever has Jega's official email address should please provide me with it, I need to make an official complaint. |
ogashman:Correct guy! |
galadima77:Thank you very much. I hope your post will finally move this thread in the right direction. |
