We cannot achieve the things of the Spirit through the flesh (Galatians 5:16-17). Patience is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit and we can only manifest it through Him.
For example, it is the Spirit that tells you to keep quiet in the heat of provocation. If you obey him, you will find peace when the issue dies down. But if you disobey you may regret your actions.

Quick question for point number 4 on what Patience is not.

What do you mean by it is not achieved by Mr Flesh?

If it is only by the Holy Spirit then everyone should be manifesting it.

But it is by the Spirit and you disciplining your flesh.

If the flesh (human effort) has no part in it then no Christian should be blamed or judged since it is simply God (the Spirit) who did not help them manifest it.

Scripture Text: John 14:2-4

Calvary greetings to us brethren and glory to God for another gift of life.

Our Lord Jesus Christ affirms to us through today's Scripture: "In my Father's House, there are many Mansions; if it were not, I would have told you. I have gone ahead to prepare a place for you, and when everything is set I will come back to take you there. You already know the way there".

This Word of the Lord tells us that this present world we are living is temporary, and that we have a permanent home full of mansions in Heaven. Hence, we should always see ourselves as strangers in this world and never plan to settle with this present world because it will surely disappear.

The Features and Uniqueness of Our Permanent Residence
1. It is in Heaven and our final destination
2. It is full of mansions enough to accommodate every believer.
3. It is the place where the heirs of God through Christ will be joint forever.
4. It is a secured home where moth and rust cannot corrupt nor thieves can break through.
5. It is the place of rest where there is no struggle, worries, fear of tomorrow, sorrow, tears and death(Math.6:10-21; Revelations 14:3, 21:4; Math. 5:20)

However, to get to our permanent resident, we need a passport. This passport is the only Way to occupy our mansion. He is Jesus!

Jesus is the Way to Heaven, our final destination to go and be with God forever. He has promised that He will come to take us back home, and His Word never fails. What we need to do is to live a godly life in this world to qualify us as on of the home(mansion)-owner in heaven. Let's live everyday in Christ with eternity in view.

Repent of your sins, check if you are standing right and if your heart is right with God. Embrace holiness, for without it no man can enter the permanent residence to see God. Nothing unclean shall be allowed in.

Jesus promised His disciples to give them these Mansions. Ask yourself if you are one of Jesus' disciples qualified for this promise.

There are still many rooms and mansions to claim. Just amend your ways and take up your Cross daily in Christ. Surrender your life to Jesus today and make Him Your Lord and Saviour so that even if you die you can occupy His mansion and be a permanent resident in God's Kingdom.

Patience is the hallmark of a believer and one of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. One of the attributes of God is patience, and that is why we wonder sometimes why some wicked people are not yet consumed. God is simply patiently waiting if they could repent.

What Patience Is
1. Tolerance
2. Calmness in the midst of adversity. Proverbs 14:29
3. Anger extinguisher. Proverbs 15:8
4. A trait of a Holy Spirit- led life
5. A sign of strength
6. A sign of hope and optimism. Ron 5:3-4
6. A wise response to situations. Proverbs 19:11
What Patience Is Not
1. It is not cowardice
2. It is not a sign of weakness
3. It is not pride
4. It is not controlled or achieved by Mr Flesh
5. It is not a sign of fear
6. It doesn't mean you are wrong.

Biblical Examples of Patience
1. Jesus: He demonstrated patience when He was in the ship with his disciples and there was a great storm. He was calm and rebuked the storm to be calm too and it obeyed. Also, when He was being led to the Cross for crucifixion, He was calm and went through humiliation and mockery in love and patience so as to save the world.
2. Abraham: He was patient with God and through that inherited God's promises for him.
3. Joseph: He overcame rivalry battles, and tribulations in the prison and overcame at the end through patience and perseverance.
4. Job: Despite all he faced in trials, he endured in patience(James 5:11)
5. Disciples of Jesus Christ: With patience and perseverance even in the face of persecution they followed Christ to the end.

Brethren, to receive this fruit of patience through the Holy Spirit, you must have given your life to Christ.
Today is another opportunity for you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and He will turn your world around.
Say: Lord Jesus, I come before You today, I know I am a sinner, forgive me all my sins, cross out my name from the book of hell and fire, transfer my name into the Book of Life, fill me with your Spirit, in Your name I pray, amen.

It's a good thing for brothers to dwell in unity. God delights in good and healthy relationship in every area of human society: family, church,work, neighborhood; and wants us to relate in a godly manner.
Though we have individual differences but we should harness these differences to present a big picture of Christ in us.
Examples of Siblings Rivalry in the Bible
1. Esau and Jacob (Gen 27): Jacob was aided by his mother to collect his brother's portion of blessings. The reason is that their parent showed favouritism among them. Isaac loved Esau. Rebecca loved Jacob and earned sorrow at the end.
2. Joseph and his brothers: Because Jacob preferred and favoured Joseph more than his brothers and also because of Joseph dreams to be greater than them, they conspired to kill him and detested him but eventually sold him to slavery, where God used him to save a nation from drought and protected the entire future of Israel, having forgiven his brethren.
3. Cain and Abel: After Adam and Eve fell into the temptation of the serpent which led to the fall of man (Gen 3); this gave rise to the first manifestation of sibling rivalry between their children (Gen 4). Cain (a farmer) and Abel (a shepherd) brought thanksgiving offerings before God but God accepted Abel's fat offerings and rejected Cain's unworthy offerings. This drove Cain to hatred, anger, bitterness, envy and jealousy and negative emotions towards his brother. He eventually murdered his brother and got divine punishment as a result of his evil act.
4. Moses and his brethren (Exodus): Aaron and Miriam conspired against their brother, Moses, a friend of God. This made Miriam became a leper for a while before Moses asked God to forgive them.

What To Do Against Rivalry/Jealousy/Envy
1. Go to God in repentance
2. Confess and pray against these evil tenant in your life.
3. Evacuate them with the fire of the Holy Ghost out of your life.
4. Forgive one another and continue to relate in the love of God.
5. Be contented with who you are and what God has made you and will make you to become. Appreciate it and be thankful to God.
Prayer Points
1. To decree and plans of envious enemies shall not come to pass in my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. I decree that the Spirit of unhealthy rivalry is banished from my family, henceforth, in the name of Jesus.
3. Enemies of unity in my family, depart now, in the name of Jesus.

If you are in the sin of envy/ jealousy, this is the time to repent. Tomorrow may be too late. Accept Jesus today by saying this:

3. Believe in your heart that Jesus is the only Saviour (John 14:6,3:36,1:29)
4. Confess and receive Jesus as your own Saviour (John 5:24,10:28,1:12)
5. Acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and friend(John 15:14,20:28,26:24)
6. I welcome into God's Family (John 15:5,20:19-20)
7. Sign-up for God's Service: using your talents in the House of God for His glory, praying, reading and meditating the Scriptures, die daily to Mr. flesh and be Spirit-filled and Spirit-led and manifesting the fruit the Spirit of love,joy,peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
8. Most importantly, commit yourself to God's greatest Commission i.e. witnessing Jesus Christ and His Good News to all wherever you go as led by the Spirit of God.

Pray to Repentance

Scripture: Ephesians 2:12-20
Analysing our text Scripture today, for centuries there had been separation among the people of God before Christ's Death and Resurrection.

In those days, the Jews and the Gentiles were sworn enemies because the proud Jews
- having chosen to receive God's law considered themselves closer to God but the Gentiles far from Him
- Jews had circumcision as the sign that they were God's people, and the Gentiles did not
- The Jews felt the Gentiles enjoyed none of Israel's privileges through the covenants and promises because they were not God's people and had not the knowledge of God.
- The Gentiles were not allowed into the holiest part of the temple by the Jews and this created a great wall of separation amongst them.

Alas, Christ through His Death broke down this wall, abolished the offensive law and commandments, destroyed the hatred and made peace. No longer are the 'near to God' Jews more privileged than the 'far off" Gentiles.

In the same vein, amongst today's Christian, in Christ, there is no distinction, for all who believe and have accepted Christ as the Lord and Saviour are all God's people.
- We all have equal status as citizens of God's Heavenly Kingdom
- We are all members of His family and heirs to His Throne
- We all come into His presence through one Spirit
- The new temple is not physical anymore but spiritual dwelling place of the Holy Spirit in us
- We are all made alive in Christ
- We will all sit in the Heavenly place in Christ Jesus.

The emphasis is "to be in Christ"

Today, another opportunity is here for you to be among this family of God and accepting Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour is the only Way.
Tomorrow may be too late.

Say this: Lord Jesus, I accept You today as my Lord and Saviour, come into my life and take control. I say bye bye to the devil, I enter into the Kingdom of Light, thank You Jesus, in Your name I pray, amen.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

We were created by God to do His will and show forth His glory. But through one man(Adam) we rebelled and alienated from our Creator.

Many have tried to reunite with God through their own efforts and self-righteousness of doing good but this was unacceptable by God, as all our righteousness are "filthy rags" before Him(Isaiah 64:6)

However, through the Cross of Jesus Christ, His Death and Resurrection, we are now fully reconciled to God and able to meet up with His standard. We became acceptable to God through the Cross.

Benefits of the Cross
- We gained freedom from sin, satan, sickness, curses, evil covenants and evil foundations.
- Racial barriers were broken and a new relationship established through Christ.
- We have now become members of God's family
- We enjoy God's incomparable love
- The gap btw man and God's place of happiness and better life on earth and the life to come has been bridged.
- Christ's Death on the Cross:
1. Delivered us from the penalty and power of sin
2. Gained us righteousness in place of sin
3. Gives us perfect health in place of sickness
4. Gives us long life in place of untimely death
5. Brought us blessings in place of curses
6. Gave us glory in place of shame
7. Brought us divine acceptance instead of divine condemnation
8. Gave us eternal life rather than eternal hell.
9. Brought us Salvation
10. Reconciled us back to God and helps us in the fulfilling of God's Will and Purpose for our lives.

In order to enjoy these benefits of the Cross, you must give your life to Christ, today for He is the only Way, Truth and Life to God. And if you have given your life to Christ, congratulations!!!. Continue to grow in faith and enjoy more of these benefits in Jesus mighty name.

Text: Ephesians 4:32; Acts 7:54-60

Forgiveness is the act of releasing anyone that has offended us from our hearts and genuinely cancel all their wrongdoings.
It also means genuine reconciliation with someone.
Examplery of Forgiveness

- God forgave us our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ. The Blood of His Son shed for us reconciled us back to Him. Before the Death of Jesus, we had already been condemned to destruction but Jesus Christ's love for us set us free. Hence no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 1:7)
- Stephen forgave those who stoned him to death because he shared the truth of Christ and Good news (Acts 7:60)
- Joseph forgave his brothers who sold him to slavery (Gen. 50: 19-21)

However, there are some dangers unforgiveness bring to man. Some of these are under listed:

1. It imprisons your heart and thought
2. It gives satan a ground to attack you.
3. The Holy Spirit may depart from you if you don't repent.
4. You will be caged with pain and grudge
5. You will experience heaviness and burden
6. The person you can't forgive is your master. The person has overcome you.
7. It can lead to anger, shock and hypertension.
8. You will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Gal 5: 19)

Benefits of Forgiveness
1. You are set free from the prison of pain, grudge, burden, malice and heaviness.
2. The Holy Spirit will take His place in your heart and swallow up all bitterness because you have handed everything to God.
3. Forgiveness attracts you to the blessings connected to obedience to God's Commands of forgiveness to us.
4. Our prayers speedily answered because they are offered with pure hand and clean hands (Psalm 24:5-6)
5. It keeps you from falling into temptation and delivers you from all evil (Luke 11:4)
6. You will become a sane person physically, spiritually, mentally and health wise.

Are you wallowing in the sin of unforgiveness? This is the time to repent and leave all to God.
Say this:
Lord Jesus, forgive me my sins, come into my heart and take control, I forgive and release everyone that has offended me wholeheartedly just as you have forgiven me now. Thank You Jesus in Your name I pray, amen.

The Holy Spirit helps us in every area of our lives: physical, health, financial, spiritual, marital, academic, career, ministry, talents, and our destiny at large in as much we ask and trust Him.
The Scriptures have revealed to us some works the Spirit does in our lives:
1. When we commit sin, He convicts us. He is that guilty conscience we feel when we do something bad. He does that so that we can repent and ask for forgiveness.
2. He is the Spirit of Truth that tells us nothing but the truth, whether it's convenient for us or not.
3. He doesn't speak for himself but only speaks what he hears from God.
4. He tells us the mind of God on anything we inquire God's Will about.
5. He searches into the deep things of God to reveal His deep secrets to those who fear Him.
6. He is also the Holy Ghost that works with Fire
7. He gives us power to overthrow the devil and his agents.
8. He is God's gift of love for us.
9. He gives us joy
10. He is the Peace God gave unto us.
11. He is kind to us and helps us to be kind to others.
12. He helps us flee from sins and all appearances of evil
13. He attracts the abundance grace of God to our lives.
14. He renews our minds and transforms our lives.
15. He makes us holy and pure within and without
16. He swallows up sins in our lives.
17. He condemns and. consumes the works of the flesh daily in our lives.
18. He makes us acceptable to God.
19. He fills us afresh daily to overflowing
20. He helps us understand the Word of God.
21. He reminds us the Words of Christ.
22. He speaks the Goodnews of Christ through us to other and wins their souls to Christ.
23. He makes us Christ-like
24. He shows to see and makes us feel the glory of God.
25. He leads us to be faithful to God
26. He gives us hope
27. He illuminates confused situation and brings everything to light.
28. He helps us to be creative
29. He gives us diverse kinds of spiritual gifts and helps us speaks in tongues.
30. He keeps us away from evils and directs our paths aright.
31. He helps usto know and fulfill our God given destiny.

Brethren, please note that the Holy Spirit operates only in the lives of those who are saved.
If you are not born again, please do so now. Tomorrow may be too late.

Romans 5:8-11; Galatians 3:13

What does it mean to be redeemed?
The Scriptures made us understand that redemption refers to as freedom from sin and freedom from captivity. The One who gave us this freedom is Jesus hence He is our Redeemer.
Jesus' redemption for us means a "buy back" from the Kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of Light.
The price He paid for buying us in His light is His blood. To shed the blood for the exchange, He had to die in this world in form of a human and flesh. But God, the Father in His mercy rose Him from the dead and took Him back to Heaven to live permanently with Him there.
His Death and Resurrection gave us access to go to the Father in Heaven, not as slaves but as heirs to inherit His Kingdom.
Also Jesus knew we could not inherit it by our own power so He's given us the grace of God to access it.

Brethren Jesus Has redeemed us from sins, captivity, satan, death and Hell. To enjoy the full Redemption of Christ, you need to surrender our live totally to Jesus here on earth to take over and die daily to self.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, it is only through Him we can access that throne of God as heirs of the Father, in Heaven. We cannot see God without Jesus.

Say Lord Jesus, I acknowledge I'm a sinner and I confess You as my Lord and Redeemer, come into my life now and take control forever. I say bye bye to the kingdom of darkness and enter into the Kingdom of Light, thank You Jesus in Your name I pray, amen.

Eternal life is not only living forever with Christ in God's Kingdom but also living the best life ever.

1. Eternal life is found exclusively in Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour. Except you accept Him into your life, there is no other password to the door of Eternal Life.
2. Eternal life is always received only by believing in Jesus as the Son of God who died and resurrected to save us from our sins. Without believing in Jesus, you cannot have Eternal life(John 3:14-16)
3. The gift of Eternal life by Jesus is the only thing that can satisfy our hunger and thirst forever. When we have it, we don't have to crave for anything, never(John 4:13-15).
4. We can only receive the gift of Eternal Life through the grace of God (Romans 6:23)
5. We can actually have it now (1John 5:13)

The comfort, joy, satisfaction, freedom,confidence, humility, peace, love, and all manner of God's blessings we enjoy now is just a bit of what's awaiting us in Eternal life with the Father and Jesus, the Son.

With whom do you want to spend your eternity?
If it is with Jesus, this is the time to accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. Forsake your sinful ways and hold unto righteousness. Tomorrow may be too late.

Say this short prayer:
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner but now I forsake my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Come into my life and take Your place. I believe You're the Son of God and that You died for me to save me. I say bye bye to the devil and I enter into the Kingdom of Light.

Text: Mathew 6:19-20

Jesus warned us to store for ourselves treasures in heaven where moth, rust and thieves cannot destroy or break in.

Does this mean Jesus does not want us to enjoy good things on Earth? No!
There's nothing wrong with wealth for God is the One that generously gives people success with resources, money, long life and good health to enjoy it(Ecclesiastes 5:19).
However, when we value the gifts more than the giver, it becomes obsession and ruins our relationship with God.

Piling up earthly things means having idols in our hearts. When we place a high value on these things it leaves God out of our everyday lives. This wealth now becomes mammon. (Mathew 6:24)

How Do We Store Up Heavenly Treasures?
1. Accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour for it is through Him you can start storing up heavenly treasures.
2. Love the Word of God (Proverbs 7:1)
3. Have an intimate relationship with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit
4. Set your affection on things above rather than below.
5. Give to the needy and be a blessing to others around you.
6. Seek after the Kingdom of God first (Mathew 6:31-33).
7. Live holy, blameless and spotless without wrinkle(2 Peter 3:13-15).
8. Share the gospel with others and win souls for Christ(Mark 16:15).
9. Be rich in good works(1Timothy 6:19).
10. Remember that this world and all the things in it are temporary. Only the Kingdom of God is sure.

Today is the day to start storing up heavenly treasures, tomorrow may be too late.

Confessions
Lord Jesus, come into my life, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that You died and rose from the dead to save me. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus name I pray, amen.

Prayer
Oh Lord, empower me to live to Your expectation in this world, in the name of Jesus.

All men have sinned and cut short the glory of God yet God's Love prepared heaven for us at the end of our lives. As much as the Father loves us, there are certain things to fulfill to get to heaven and by the grace of God.
1. Totally surrender your lives to the Lordship of the Lord Jesus (Romans 10:8-10).
2. No man can make Heaven except he is born again.(John 3:3-5)
3. After the new birth (1Corithians 5:17) in Christ, you need to maintain a sincere and diligent study of the Word of God.
4. Join a Bible-believing church and practice what is in the Bible.
5. Fellowship with the children of God and learn new things about God and serve Him daily (1 Peter 2:2)
6. Personally maintain a daily life of communion with God.
-In the morning, before any distraction of the day, wake up and observe your quiet time
-Praise God for the gift of the new day; thank Him very well for every thing He did in your life and family the previous day.
-Commit the new day to His able Hands (Proverbs 3:5-6).
-Ask Him for help to align the new day under His control and instructions.
-Read and meditate on the passage of the Bible for instructions and direction for the day.
-Maintain this daily routine with discipline and it will bring me to maturity in the Lord.
7. As you grow spiritually, set rules and regulations for your life to discipline the flesh daily.
8. Learn to identify and always obey the promoting of the Holy Spirit.
9. Endeavour to obey God, His Word and the Holy Spirit at all cost.
10. Live a holy and life of purity.
11. Be expectant and ready for the coming of the Lord. He will come on the day unexpected.
God will count us worth in Jesus mighty name.

Prayers
1. The enemy will not write the last chapter of my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord, make me perfect unto Your glory, in the name of Jesus
3. I shall make Heaven by the grace of God, in the name of Jesus.
4. Lord, boost my energy to run the race set before me, in the name of Jesus.

Text: 2 Peter 3:1-10; Mathew 24:36-47.

Many have been saying that the Second coming of our Lord Jesus is not forthcoming because they have been hearing it since even before they were born but has not yet happened.
The Bible called people with this belief "scoffers". They just want to follow their own evil desires and dismiss whatever is connected to the Second coming of our Lord Jesus.

Are you a scoffer? Beware!(Mathew 24:42).

Why You Need To Beware

1.Since the day of Noah existed scoffers and their unbeliefs led to their destruction when God destroyed the world with flood.
2. God's Word doesn't go unfulfilled. His Honour and Integrity is in the manifestation of His Words. For example, we all know that God formed the heavens and the earth out of water and by water. By these waters also the world was destroyed
in the time of Noah. By the same Word, the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgement and destruction of the ungodly.
3. A day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like a day in the eyes of the Lord.
4. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.(2 Peter 3:10)
5. Our Lord Jesus also affirmed His own Second coming (Mathew 24:36-44).
6. The day or hour like the days of Noah will come like a thief in the night. People will be eating, drinking, getting married, doing naming and all manner of activities when the Son of Man will come at an hour when we do not expect Him.
7. Only God knows the hour and the time. No one knows, not the angels, nor human, not even Jesus Himself knows when He is coming back.
8. "For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works"(Mathew 16:27). Similarly, "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and shall come forth unto resurrection of life.

Brethren, I just want to share with you one of the message of my spiritual father: concubinage.

What is Concubinage?
Concubinage is the enemy of a peaceful home.
It is defined as the co-habitation of a man and a woman without legal or formal marriage.
It is an interpersonal and sexual relationship between a man and a woman that are not married.
The woman in such a relationship is referred to as a concubine.

What is God's Perspective About Concubinage?
God never supports concubinage although the Bible records some cases of men who had concubines.

Consequences of Concubinage with Biblical Examples.
1. Hagar
She was an illegal wife and maid to Abraham and Sarah. She gave birth to the seeds of Ishmael that have become thorn in the flesh of Christianity today.

2. David
He coveted Bathsheba, Uriah's wife and subsequently murdered Uriah. Although he regretted and repented from his sins but what prophet Nathan said about him came true(2 Sam 12:10-14)
-Murder became a constant threat in David's family (2 Sam 13:16-30; 18:14-15; 1Kings 2:23-25)
- Rebellion was in his household (2 Sam 15:13)
- His wives were given to another public view(2 Sam 16:20-23)
-His first child with Bathsheba died
-The sword never departed from his family till today.

3. Solomon
He violated God's Law by marrying 700 wives and 300 concubines (1Kings 11:3)
Solomon's concubines drew him to idolatry and idols of the foreign lands (sacrificing a child to worship Molech of Ammonites). As a result, God took the kingdom from him and gave his servant (1 Kings 11:11)

How To Ensure God's Reign and Peace in Our Homes.
1. Avoid extra-marital affairs. Don't ever go into the sin of sex outside your marriage.
2. Pray always that God should give you grace not only to start well but also to end well with Him.
3. Focus on your spouse and be faithful to him or her.
4. Allow God to be in control of your life and family.
5. Don't expose your children to curses by having extra marital affairs.

Prayers
1. Strongholds of sexual immorality in my life, collapse and rise no more, in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord, crucify the old nature in my life to Your Cross, in the name of Jesus.
3. Sexual immorality shall not have dominion over my life, in the name of Jesus.
4. Strange personalities shall not have dominion in my marriage, in the name of Jesus.

Jesus is the Son of God. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Jesus is coming soon. Repent and confess your sins. Accept Him today as your Lord and Saviour for tomorrow may be too late.

What is Polygamy?
This is a kind of marriage which a man marries more than one wife.

What is Marriage?
Marriage is the first institution established by God Himself. God gave it as a gift to Adam and Eve. It is the union between one man and one woman (Gen 2:24)

Polyandry?
This is the idea of a woman getting married to more than one man.

Consequences of Polygamy
Polygamy/polyandry is unbiblical. It is not the original purpose of God for marriage in the beginning. The consequences are very great:
1. It creates bitter rivalry between family members
2. It can lead to witchcraft in the name of seeking for protection for children among the wives.

Some Biblical Consequences.
1. Abraham
He married Hagar the maid, out of pressure from his wife, Sarah because she was unable to bear him children.
The union led to bitterness between Sarah and Hagar. Also, the descendant of Ishmael (the product of the union which was not from God) became a thorn in the flesh of the body of Christ till today.

2. Jacob
He served Laban to marry Rachael but was received by his father-in-law who married him off to Leah, Rachael's sister. But because Jacob loved Rachael, he had to marry her and became a polygamous man.
Jacob created disaffection so much between the two sisters. This jealousy and envy spread from mothers to children and these made Joseph's brothers sell him to slavery.

3. David
He married more than one wife. The consequence is that Ammon raped his half sister, Tamar, and Absalom murdered Ammon because of his rape offence(2 Sam 13:1-14). Also, there was a rivalry contest for the throne between Solomon and Adonijah (1Kings 1:1-5)

4. Solomon
David's son, Solomon had many wives and concubines (1000 in total). The strange and unbelieving women turned his heart and led him away from God into idolatry. As a result, the Spirit of God departed from him.

Polygamy is evil!
Brethren, God only recommends one man with one wife. Let us obey God by following His Will for us in marriage. To have a peaceful and loving home, we MUST follow the manual and instruction of the manufacturer of marriage, God.

Polygamy causes a lot of strife and unhealthy rivalry. So run away from it.

Prayer
1. Holy Spirit, purge my heart from the spirit of Polygamy, in the name of Jesus.

Emotion is an integral part of human lives. It could be a mental or strong feeling towards an occurrence, which manifests through actions, words, thoughts and imaginations and reactions.

Emotion can be negative or positive.

It is noteworthy that God Has emotions (e.g He's pleased with His Children and angry with the wicked); Jesus also (He wept when Lazarus died); as well as the Holy Spirit (He can be grieved).

Negative Emotions:
These are thoughts, words actions and reactions derived from the work of the flesh(Galatians 5:19). Some of these are anger, strife, malice, unforgiveness, unfaithfulness, fury, stealing, selfishness and self-centredness, brawling, slander, lust, pride, ungodly thoughts and negative imaginations, grieving the Holy Spirit by sinning, hardened heart, foul and vulgar words, unstable moods, bitterness, envy, jealousy, ignorance, laziness, separation from the life of God amongst others (Ephesians 4:17-30)
Those who manifest these are polluted vessels of God and cannot claim to be holy(1Corithians 3:16-17)

Positive Emotions
These are all emotions rooted in the works and fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, self-control and much like them are positive emotions that keep our hearts with all diligence and block negative invasion and domination.
Positive emotions spring from pure and godly motives, attract the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives and prepare us towards inheriting the Kingdom of God.

How Can God Heal Our Emotions?
God expects His children to possess and manifest positive emotions at all time. We are Christ's and should emulate Him as well as demonstrate His virtues.
NOTE that whenever things go wrong, it is definitely NOT FROM GOD, but from Sin, Satan, and enemy of our souls.
God can heal our emotions through purging, spiritual sanitization of our hearts by His Power. He is ou Maker and can put right whatever goes wrong in our lives. He is the Potter and knows where the clay is marred to fix us again.

What Do You Need To Do To Enjoy God's Healing?
1. Repent from your known sins
2. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
3. Forsake your old and sinful ways and be completely renewed in Christ through the Holy Spirit
4. Run to God for help for He is the only One that can bring out a better you from satanic mess of negative emotion.
5. Don't pamper negative emotions rather bind, cast and resist it, crying out to God in prayer.
6. Discipline yourself and let the Holy Spirit direct you in the things you expose your thoughts and minds to.
7. Submit yourself totally to God and Him have His Way in your life, thought,words and behaviour.

Prayers
1. Blood of Jesus, Fire of God purge my heart and flush out evil thoughts and imaginations from my mind, in the name of Jesus.
2. I bind and cast out mind- polluting demons, in the name of Jesus.

- Faith is demonstrating courageous trust in the All-powerful and All-sufficient God who owns our lives and is in charge of our journey of in life.
- Faith is the substance of things hoped for, an evidence of things that are yet to come (Hebrews 11:1).
- Faith assures success ( 2 Chronicles 20:20; Luk 8:50; Mark 11:22).
- It is a fundamental duty of every believer ( John 6:28; John 20:27).
- It is a defensive weapon (1 Thessalonians 5:8; 1 Timothy 1:19, 6:2; Hebrews 10:22)
- It is an indispensable element in our religion (Hebrews 11:6)
- It is essential in prayers
- It should be exercised with love (1 John 3:23)
- Faith can be strong or weak.
- It can be active or dormant
- It can living or dead.
- Faith can be measured by size, quantity and quality or miracles and blessings we can receive from God.
- It can be sharp or dull
- We can ask God to increase our faith ( Luke 17:15)
- It can be productive and unproductive
- It can be big or small
- It can be mountain-moving
- It is a game- changer
- It has wings as eagles that makes those who believe soar.
- The just shall live by faith.
- It makes impossible possible.

Brethren, have faith in God and never falter.

Prayer Point
My Father, increase and strengthen my faith, in the name of Jesus.

20. It is a guidance, when accepted with open mind
21. It is a light and a lamp to our footsteps (Psalm 119:105).
22. It is to be studied by us for God to approve us.
23. Our Quiet time is the God's Word time.
24. It removes dryness and unfruitfulness.
25. Ask those who have good success, their secret is the Word of God (Mathew 6:33).

Jesus, the Word and Son of God is calling you today. Repent from your wicked ways and accept Him as your Lord and personal Saviour. Jesus is coming soon. Tomorrow may be too late.

Prayers
1. I connect to the Wonder-Working Power of God's Word in the name of Jesus.

The pride says:
1.Idon't need the grace of God that he could survive all by himself.
2. I have everything, I need nothing.
3. You must give me respect. Always like to be shown respect by everybody and forces it down on people.
4. I am better than anyone else, nobody is better than me. Luke 28:10-11
5. I have achieved more than others. Daniel 4:30
6. I'm above obeying the Commandments of God. 2 Chronicles 26:16
7. I cannot go out of my way to help others. I can only do what i ought to do.
8. Who is God that i should obey him? Exodus 5:1-2
9. God can never discipline me for what I've done wrong. John 8:33
10. I'm never without transgression or iniquities.
11. 'I will' and not "God's will" make myself assume the position I desires. Isaiah 14:12-14
12. See how great I am. Ezekiel 28:17-18
13. Since I'm better than the poor, I will take what belongs to them and they can do nothing. Psalm 10:11
14. I can't give God the glory for what I've achieved by my sweat,efforts and connection.
15. I don't believe in God
16. I will enjoy this life, I don't care about after life.
17. I can never go to church. What do I want to go and do in Church?

These and more are choices of words we should be careful about so as not to incur God's wrath.

Brethren, Jesus is coming soon. Repent from your sins. Confess your sins. Accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour and prepare for Eternity. Tomorrow may be too late.

Brethren, let's pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of Faith. Hold tightly to the Eternal life to wish God Has called us, which we have declared so well before many witnesses. (1 Tim 6: 11b-12).

Brethren, when you've tried other things, it's wise to resort to the Word of God. All the promises of God are backed up by the honour to His Word. Hold God to His Word for there is Power in it.

3. Sharper than any two edged sword (physical and spiritual)
4. Pierces into the marrows and joints of anyone
5. Penetrates into the soul and spirit and divide them.
6. Discerns what your thoughts are and what your heart is currently thinking.
7. It's a hammer that hit the nail on the head, irrespectable of who and what.
8. It's a mirror to reflect yourself.
9. A lather that cleanses filthiness.
10. A bow for revenge on the enemies
11. A gold that enriches
12. It is a fire (Jeremiah 23:29)
13. A food to nourish your soul- bread, meat, wine, honey and sweeter than honey from the comb.
14. It is life to those who believe in it.
15. It is the top priority.
16. It is written...and the next word attached to it goes forth with fire and command to fulfill its purpose.
17. Heals our wounds (spiritually and even physically with Faith)
18. It cures depression
19. It is a solution to every problem. There is no problem that does not have its solution in the Word of God.
20. The Word is God Himself. God can never fail.

This season is another evident of the fulfillment of God's Word and His Love to mankind.
"...for whosoever believes in Him (The Word-Jesus) shall not perish but have Everlasting Life(John3:16)

Give your life to Jesus today and make him your Lord and personal Saviour. Love God and love your neighbours as yourself. For these are the greatest commandments given to us by God.

Today is another opportunity for tomorrow may be too late.

There are some things that happen in the life of a man which should give him concerns about his stand with his Creator lest he perishes and becomes a prey to the enemy.

1. When you begin to move away from the things of God.
2. When you don't feel concerned about God and His existence.
3. When there is no sign that God is with you.
4. When you are far away from the presence of God
5. When you don't thirst and huger for the things of God.
6. When you see sin as business as usual and a generally acceptable thing
7. When you are in deep spiritual slumber.
8. When you are not ready to pay the price of reviving your life in Christ
9. When you are lazy and negligent in your spiritual life
10. When you don't have the spirit of brokenness
11. When you don't have self-control
12. When the flesh overthrows and rules your life
13. When your prayer altar has completely collapse
14. When you don't enjoy being in the presence of God.
15. When reading the Bible and doing what is in it becomes difficult for you.

Repent for Jesus is coming soon. He is the only Way, Truth and Life to reach God.

If you have any of these traits under-listed, you as a mother need to change your ways and embrace the right way of God.
1. Toxic: You don't have boundaries. You act as if you don't love your children until they bend to your will. Your children are afraid around you, even as an an adult your children still fear you and the pains you cause them don't go away.
2. Ungodly mother: They are not anywhere close to God. All their care is about worldly pleasures, gold, parties, love of money, clubbing, drinking alcohol etc. Once you see them you can easily identify them by their fruits.
3. Mothers who don't know how to pray let alone pray for their husband or children.
4. Fighting mothers: Always ready to go physical or verbal to fight anybody that cross their way. Some even wear shorts under their skirts just in case.
5. Mothers who can yell like there's no tomorrow. They don't know that their yelling causes nuisance around the home. They tell at the husband, children or even things.
6. The lazy ones who don't want to work but want money, money, money. They feel they are entitled to money from their children and husband.
7. Those who can gossip for the world. What is true and untrue, confirmed and unconfirmed are all heard from their mouth and likely expose themselves to the enemy (Proverbs 28:21)
8. Mothers who abuse their children physically, sexually, emotionally and spiritually.
9. Irresponsible mothers: They don't care about their home and contribute nothing towards the welfare of the home.
10. The dirty ones who don't take care of their homes and always look unkempt. Their kitchen, living room,rest rooms, bedrooms, and environment are nothing to write home about. Their spouses are not always confident to bring in a guest.
11. Adulterous mothers: They are the greedy and not-contented one who find all excuses to commit adultery. They blame their filthiness on their spouses or children.
12. The ones who are not flexible and don't connect with their children emotionally. They never compromise.
13. The demanding mothers: These ones are always cheerful receiver but not givers. They demand from their husband, children in-law and friends at any point in time. They don't have etiquette of demanding. Even a simple conversation with them is a channel of asking you for what they need.
14. The unsatisfied mothers: No matter what you do for them, they are not satisfied with it. They are always asking for more even without appreciating the ones their spouse and children have done so far.
15. The Selfish Mothers: All issues must revolve around them. They put their own interests first before their spouse or children.

Repent and be saved for tomorrow may be too late.

Jesus is the Son of God. He came to the world to die for you and I so that we might be saved(John 3:16).

There are so many things that describes a man as a good father but if you have one or some of the under-listed, you need to repent before it is too late.

1. Fathers that are always present in the house but do not contribute to the lives of their children.
2. They are always present but have negative influence on their children, e.g, smoking and encouraging fornication for their children.
3. Always angry even without any reason. The only reason their children remember them is for their anger.
4. They can lie very well and see nothing wrong in it.
5. They are serial drunkards. If you don't want to raise irresponsible children, flee from drinking.
6. They are unfaithful to their wives and monitor and will likely have an adulterous influence on their children.
7. They are always forming the "boss" to their children and are not in any way emotionally connected to their children.
8. The Bullies. Always hurting their children with their choices of words.
9. The wife beaters. They beat their wives because they lack self control.
10. They behave like monsters and beast. Very cruel.
11. Those who abuse their children physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, etc.
12. Those who sexually molest their daughters or having a carnal knowledge of them.
13. They are irresponsible. They waste resources and never take care of their wives and children.
14. They are bad models. Most of their children don't pray to marry men like their fathers.

What type of father are you?

If you are reading this and your life cannot be a positive prayer point for your children to be like you or that they marry someone like you, then you need to sit down and talk to you inner man.

Repent today for you will have to give account of all that you have done in the flesh before the Throne of the Living God ( I Corinthians 6:9-10)

Call For Repentance

Jesus is the Son of God, He died for you to be saved. He is the Way, Truth and the Light. No one goes to the Father except through Him.
Accept Him today as your Lord and personal Saviour. Confess and forsake your sins. Believe in Him and be intimate with Him. Only then will you be saved from Eternal Damnation.

Anger is a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure and hostility.

Degrees of Anger
-Fury
-Rage
-Provocation
-Frustration
-Depression
-Wrath

Symptoms of Anger
When you are angry, some of the symptoms your body produces are:
- headache
-intestine disorders
-bad vision
-anxiety
-fear
-bitterness
-distortion of thinking
-hypertension
-depression
-loss of identity
-loss of confidence
-loss of sensitivity
-worry
-regrets and so on.

Spiritually, you will not be able to hear from the Holy Spirit when you are angry. Also, you may lose some blessings, faith and destiny.

Sources of Anger
Many people are angered due to
-injustice
-Hurt
-Fear
-Frustration
-Pride

Anger is one of the weapons the devil/enemy uses against the children of God to steal from them, especially when great breakthroughs are coming their ways, if they are careless.

How Do You Get Rid of Anger.
1. Acknowledge that anger is a sin (Proverbs 29: 22)
2. Don't feed the habit (Eccl. 7:9)
3. Delay in anger (James 1:19)
4. Ask for the Power of God to rule your spirit man.
5. Close your mouth when angry(Collosians 3:
6. Keep your voice soft when angry (Proverbs 15:1)
7. Discover your own degree or style of anger and abandon it.
8. Be quick to forgive(Ephesians 4:26)
9. Don't allow the spirit of anger to rule you (Ephesians 4:31)
10. Be filled with the Holy Spirit and let Him take the lead in your life daily, by this you will not fall into sin.(Galatians 5: 25)
11. Nail the Spirit of anger and quarrel to the Cross of Calvary and curify them there (Galatians 5: 19-24)
12. Ask for God's forgiveness and mercy to overcome the spirit of anger.
13. Submit yourself totally to God's Will daily and resist the spirit of anger and devil its father (James 4:7).
14. Be vigilant, especially when great breakthroughs are coming your way.
15. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness (Mathew 6:33).
16. Don't conform to the world ( Romans 12:2)
17. Pray the spirit of anger out of your life.
18. Put on the garments of patience and self-control
19. Stop holding grudges and malice.
20. Love God with your whole heart,mind,soul and life. Love your neighbours and don't do to anyone what you will not condone from another person.

Jesus is coming soon, accept Him as your Lord and personal Saviour for He is the only sure way to the Father and His Kingdom.

God has His own ways of Discipline towards His Children.
The Lord disciplines those He loves and punishes each one He accepts as His Child to make us better. We should not resent the Lord's Discipline or give up when He corrects us. Rather, we should rejoice for there is always joy and light at the end of the tunnel (Romans 5:

God is treating us as sons and daughters (John1:12) and if He does not discipline us, that means we are not His Legitimate Children. If our earthly father disciplines us how much more should we submit to our Heavenly Father?

A moment of discipline may be painful but later yields peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it (1 Tim 3:16).

God's Discipline is not punishment, as Jesus already bore our punishment on the Cross nor is His discipline motivated by a desire to inflict pain. God's Discipline is not anger but love, not temper but compassionate. He doesn't treat us as our sins deserve because He loves us (Psalm 103:1-3). He only trains us not to remain in sin.

Sometimes, God allows us to undergo some trials and temptations so our faith will be tested in order to grow in maturity as Christians. God uses these trials to discipline us for godliness and holiness.
When suffering comes, it is wise to examine if our hearts are right with God and repent of any known sin rather than complain (James 1:2; 5:16a).

Finally, the end of God's Discipline is not only for our own good but also for His glory. As God causes us to grow in Holiness, His grace is revealed to us and He is glorified (Titus 2:11-14). God, by the operation of His Spirit not only washes our sins but also empowers us to grow in Holiness (1Corithians15:10).

Let's not despise His Discipline but be encouraged by it.

Text: Hebrew 10: 26-27

Today, we shall be looking at the dangers of 'wilful' sin. Romans 6:1

Sin is pervasive but as children of God, we have to come out from among them and stand out as light in the sinful world. (2 Corinthians 6: 14-18).

What is 'Wilful' Sin?
- It is a sin you preconceive in your mind.
- It is a deliberate sin
- It is a sin you commit consciously
- You 'intentionally' commit the sin in full knowledge.
- You must have deliberated on it and mapped out the strategy, especially to cover it up.
- You don't fall into a wilful sin but actually committ it willingly.
- Even when the Spirit of God in you is telling you not to do it, you rebel thus a rebellious sin.
-It is a sin borne out of hardness of heart.
- It is a sin everybody commits ( including Believers) until you distinguish yourself apart for the Lord and come out from among them.

How Does God Perceive Those Who Sin Wilfully?
In our text today, some points are highlighted to enable us know the mind of God toward sins deliberately committed.
1. They are regarded as enemy of God. (Heb. 20:27)
2. There is no longer any sacrifice or grace that can cover their sins(vs 26).
3. They have rebelled against the knowledge of the 'Truth' they received.
4. They have trampled on the Son of God.
5. They have treated the Blood of the Covenant which made us holy, as if it were a common Blood and unholy.
6. They have insulted and disdain the Holy Spirit who brings God's mercy to us.
7. They have taken the grace of God for granted.

Examples of Willful:
1. Preconceived and well mapped out lies.
2. Strategic deception and fraudulence.
3. Backsliding (Hebrew 6:4-6).
4. Rejection of the Son of God, nailing Him to the Cross again and holding Him up to public shame.

Dangers/Consequences of Willful Sin.
Many believers are still being deceived by the Devil to hide under grace to commit sin. A man of God once said "any grace you get and the 'Truth' of the Word is missing in it will turn to 'disgrace' and 'shame'. Thus the Bible says:
1.There is only the terrible expectation of God's Judgement and the raging fire that will consume His enemies (Heb. 10:27).
2. You may fall in the hands of the Living God,which is a terrible thing. (Heb 10: 30-31).
3. Your prayers become sins and hindered.
4. Reduces and frustrates the grace of God in one's life.
5. Satanic molestation and manifestation.
6. Perpetual fear, anxiety and bondage.
7. Exposure to punishment and judgement of God.
8. You may be banished from God's presence.

How To Stop/Overcome Willful Sin.
- Stop deceiving yourself that God will understand you when you want to commit the sin. Be honest with yourself, especially when you are alone.
- Accept that you are a sinner, humbly ask for forgiveness and repent completely.
- Never shift blame
- Don't pamper or justify your misdeeds.
- Be conscious and sensitive to sins personally because we are all prone to commit sin.
- Avoid it prayerfully (James 4:7)

Prayer Points
1. Oh Lord, empower me to live above sin in the name of Jesus.
2. Power of sin over my life, break, in the name of Jesus.
3. Oh Lord, keep me from willful sin (Psalm 19:13).
4. I shall not fall away from God in the name of Jesus.
5. Any power that wants me to fall into repeated sins of eternal darkness and damnation, be destroyed in the name of Jesus.
6. Blood of Jesus, cleanse me and help me to live a holy life in Christ in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Discipline is the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behaviour, using punishment to correct disobedience.
Spiritual Disciplines are habits, practices and experiences that are designed to develop, grow and strengthen certain qualities of our Spirit man.
It is important to develop deeper relationship with God. Spiritual Discipline helps us to develop better attitudes, more stable emotions, good thoughts and kindness towards all not only to enrich our lives but also to strengthen our relationships with God.

Forms of Spiritual Discipline
There are many forms by which we can discipline ourselves, some of which are:
1. Food
2. Sex
3. Emotions
4. Temperament
5. Tongue/Mouth/Utterances
6. Money, and so on.

The Ways to achieve the dicpline stated above are:
1. Chastity
2. Confession of sins
3. Fasting
4. Fellowship with the Brethren
5. Frugality
6. Giving
7. Guidance
8. Hospitality
9. Humility
10. Intimacy
11. Meditation
12. Prayer
13. Quiet Time with God
14. Reflection
15. Self-control
16. Servanthood.
17. Service to God and humanity with love
18. Simplicity
19. Singing praises and hymns to reverence God
20. Slowing to talk and listening more.
21. Solitude
22. Study
23. Submission
24. Patience
25. Perseverance
26. Forgiveness, and so on.

If we do not discipline ourselves, especially with God, He may cut off His lines of communication with us. We need to sharpen our antenna by totally submitting to Him in all holiness and this can be only through our Spiritual Discipline.

Remember, Jesus is coming soon. Repent and be saved. Jesus is Lord!

Jesus' Words on adultery are very clear
1. Do not commit adultery
2. If you look at a woman with lust you have already committed adultery in your heart.
3. If your good eyes cause you to lust after another man or woman, gouge it and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body be thrown to hell.
He who has ears let him hear what the Spirit is saying.
If you have ever committed adultery, there's room for repentance at the Cross.

What To Do
-Accept that you are an adultrer
-Confess your sins
-Repent from your son
-Ask God to cleanse you with the Blood of Jesus.
-Ask God to fill you with His Spirit
-Ask for the grace of God to enable you flee from adultery and all forms of appearances of evil.

An adultrer always believes he/she deserves to be happy and decided to cheat on his/her spouse. An adulterer doesn't only cheat, he always justifies his/her unfaithfulness with a wide variety of reasons, especially claiming his/her spouse doesn't meet his/her needs or standards.

Brethren, do not be ignorance of the devil's devices. The pleasures you gain in committing adultery is not worth its consequences. The Bible refers to those who commit adultery as fools.
Don't you know that what is outside the home always looks infinitely more attractive until you actually get close up? Make no mistake for the moment of adultery gives birth to a lifetime of regrets.

10 Ways An Adulterer is A Fool:

1. God cannot be mocked. The Eternal One sees our ways before Him. He watches over every move we make and knows where those paths lead us. Therefore, you have no secret to cover. You've already been exposed before you started.
2. You are committing sin against your own body. And because of your indiscipline, the Spirit of God in you dies and your body will soon follow after if you don't stop and repent 1Corithians 6:18-19.
3. You will be snared in your own wrongdoings. Your infidelity will tie your hands and your will be dragged through life by the cords of your sins along with your co-perperprator.
4. The moment after you commit adultery, you will start dealing with the shame, pain and guilt. You will wander lost and confused (Proverbs 6:33).
5. Adultery leads to financial and home wreckage. It also breeds the legacy of confusion and distrust which bestows upon your children because they are caught up in it.
6. Adultery violates your relationship with God, details your destiny, truncates the trust in your relationship, afflict you with guilty conscience and tears your family apart.
7. Infidelity dehumanises your spouse. The cheated spouse bears the pain of betrayal and is inflicted with a wound that only God can truly heal.
8. Your children will be shattered into a million pieces once they find out that their 'hero' father or 'heroine' mother is nothing but an adultrer that has torn the family apart.
9. The woman's jealous husband or man's jealous wife might want to take revenge on you at all cost one he or she finds out and you may pay with your life as a compensation to quench the rage. If this happens, what will happen to your spouse and children?
10. Those who indulge in sexual sins or who committ adultery will not inherit the Kingdom of God (1Corthians 6:9).
Repent and be saved by Jesus today.
