OvieE:

U must be an asshole. You probally denied visa hundred times and u could not make it to abroad to send money to feed your hungry lion and F ugly families.

The summation about being denied visa is weak, baseless and childish. Where do you live?
Politics / Why Do Nigerians Continue To Batter Their Country's Already Battered Image? by toshacer: 4:07pm On Nov 13, 2009
What is it with Nigerians, always criticising anything done in Nigeria- by Nigerians? Why do they speak ill about their country, why do they wish evil for their country, why do they help the international community to continually batter the image of Nigeria? why are they always negative. Whyare they never patriotic? Where does patriotism start and stop? Someone said the FIFA tournament will fail and FIFA will take it elsewhere, a Nigerian said that! why is there so much apathy in anything Nigeria?
Sports / Re: Why Did The Light Go Off Before The Final Whistle? by toshacer: 4:02pm On Nov 13, 2009
why do Nigerian speak ill about their country like so much?

The lights were turned off for the fireworks. where is Nigeria heading to with these un patriotic fools?
Politics / Re: Nigerians Abroad Remit $10bn Home In 2009 - World Bank by toshacer: 3:44pm On Nov 13, 2009
what the fu ck? where was i when this useless thread was opened?

You send money to feed your hungry families and then you think you deserve national award for that? Whats going on here? Who is praising who? Drug money and credit card fraud money wire back to Nigeria and y'all think you deserve national award for that? when will this self deception stop? Lets start another topic to say, all diasporians deserve awards because they send money home to feed their hungry families - what the F? dont send it, and wait what becomes of your family, and beside, most of them borrowed money to travel hence they have to pay it back. what the F?

Do these goons know how much an average American business man in Nigeria takes out of Nigeria to America yearly? Do you know how much the Chinese, Indians, South Africans make from Nigeria and send back to their home country daily? We talking billions daily, in the same dead economy, in the ame failed system, in the same rotten egemony that you ran away from, do you know how much? You stay there praising yourselves for sending money to feed your family! What arrant nonsence!

From the way the diasporic people play down on their country and speak ill about her while they praise where they abode, why wont cases like this continue to happen? Until the diasporic people shut there mouth and speak the truth that life is not easy as well over there, then young people will strive to make it where ever they find themselves.

Politics / Nigerians In Diaspora Organisation - Holds Meeting In Transcorp Hilton, Abuja. by toshacer: 2:24pm On Nov 09, 2009
Just my usual morning cuppa in Transcorp, and lo and behold, i saw a meeting hall for Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation, my first reaction was like, hey, NairaLand is here in full force, so, i finished my cuppa, refreshed and ready for a battle with the NIDs, i was loking forward to bashings and more bashings- but, to my surprise, these set of Diasporans were of a different breed, these ones are far far different from the ones daily on NairaLand- they are comported, likeable, optimistc, they have a message about the Nigeria of their dream, quite a far cry from the way the NairaLand NIDs carry themselves- they never see a doomed nation, they never see a failed nation, they had a a diffferent view entirely from the NairaLand folk - why cant these people join the NID organisation, me thinks it is going to be better.

and there is 24 hours electricity, and there is food on the table, and there is good transportation - how easy - you need to rule the world, not just Nigeria.
Sports / Re: This Ijebu-ode Stadium! by toshacer: 7:24pm On Nov 08, 2009
another unnecessary topic - so you want us to debate this or what? Do you think we all gathered together will sway FIFA's opinion or do you think you know better than FIFA? Nothing is good enough for Nigerians.
