zicoraads: Tosine. This one iz not low self esteem ooo. Na reality check do me. As in, when you see a lady you know for sure her hairdo will most likely be more than your monthly take home pay. I don't even see academics, exposure and age as being above my league. I see it more in the financial aspect. That's why I said it's a two way thing When you're thinking of starting up a business and you don't have a capital and then you see a lady on an hairstyle that can start up your business, low self esteem go overwhelm you sharp sharp |

Splinz: It depends. This advice should be strictly for an undefined relationship. For instance, one can't get in a relationship on the premise of marriage, and then the next moment he/she wants out just like that. What happen to the initial understanding/agreement?
You know that's betrayal, and such is a wrong doing. You're very right on this bro |

This is nothing but a lie Nigerian governors that are unnecessarily guarded. People that you're only allowed to stay 10 metres away from them anywhere they are, so how were the thieves able to perform their stealing operation nah? If it happed to Fayose, I would believe it |

Chi59: Don't mind them.
Africans, Nigerians, to be precise are extremely picky about their future spouses.
Things like a slight deformity, difference in denomination etc is enough to hinder someone from getting married not to talk of impotency/infertility. May God bless you my sister. People are only being hypocritical just to attract likes from people Just as you said, if something as ridiculous as tribal differences can hinder people from not getting married to someone, much more of impotency |

Romance › Re: Can A Lady Be Above A Guy's League? by tosyne2much(m): 2:57pm On Jul 09, 2017 |
I think it's a two way thing. YES and NO
A lady can be above a man's league and vice versa probably due to her level of exposure, academic attainment and perhaps, age.
The only thing I see here is that men are usually quick to discredit themselves when they meet financially stable ladies which is usually due to low self esteem, family background and lack of confidence in oneself |

lilbest4: I'm currently breaking up with my girl right now. We are still chatting sha and I'm bringing it out little by little before evening it will be over. She suddenly started disrespecting me and I ain't taking the shit It's better that way. You know a loyal woman when you have nothing. When a woman is disrespectful to a man when he has nothing, the man unleashes vengeance on her the moment he becomes rich. |

I don't know why I don't usually get envious of the wedding of any Nigerian politician's child. They will always look for a way to turn it to a political gathering where they squander looted money and you will begin to wonder if it's a wedding.
Anyway, happy married life to him |

legitimatefrank1: Bro i guess you feel you're wiseer than the doctor baa....Some people are more spiritual and are given divine informations...By the way life aint got formula bro Abeg forget about religion sentiments jawe and don't let it becloud your sense of reasoning. I mean it doesn't make any sense if we only use religion sentiment as a ground for proposing to someone? Going by your analogy, so you mean in as much as you're given divine information or backup, it's not a thing of necessity to critically observe and study the person for validation, but to approach the person and then comes the wedding ? Wake up to reality my brother. |

Shigoboy: I disagree with that point 'settle for less' I forcefully canceled that mindset of searching for a job after my NYSC immediately I discovered I graduated with 3rd class, it's 4 years after I finished my youth service, I've never submitted any CV neither attend any interview, instead I'm employing, and I always thank God for helping me to make such decision, I can now boldly say this cos I'm doing good and have my own business which I earns nothing less than 300k monthly, my poor grade helped me to wake that real man in me, thou it's a matter of choice and determination, if not for my poor grade I might be in a private company with my colleagues struggling in a rat race, don't get it twisted, it's very good and lovely to graduate with a wonderful grade, but every member of a class can never become First, thats why we always have Good, Better, Best any position you find your self, lean to make good out of it, the best student in my set then is currently working in a bank where he earns 70k per month, while the guy we always see as the most useless student with his pass grade is now staff at NYSC headquarter, now, we all contact him for friends and family NYSC posting, failure in academics doesn't mean failure in life... Wooooow.. This is very inspiring |
