I don't think the op was comparing Lagos to Dubai.

He only posted Pictures of what he thought were a bit better than average in Nigeria and some people took exception to that.

One of the earlier comments made mention of Lagos being at par with what is found in other countries, even mentioning GCC countries.

We need to be honest with ourselves to grow as a nation.
