Heya, so it's okay for you to use foul language on other threads but it's an issue when others do. If you want others to do something, then start by being an example yourself. No double standard.

For the fact that you are a Nigerian, be optimistic and speak well of your country. If not for you, for your posterities. Why all these negativities about Nigeria by some despicable Nigerians?
Even if one leaves Nigeria for another country, will one be able to leave with all one's families! It's high time we shun all these negativities about Nigeria, FOR THE SAKE OF POSTERITY
"Posterities" indeed. Don't face the reality and demand for accountability from your leaders, be blowing grammar while your future is being sold right under your nose.

What is even worse is that some individuals (from their comments on this thread) are in support of this.

Barbaric beings, why are you on the internet? Shouldn't you be in a cave somewhere? Or better still in a jungle.

I wouldn't be surprised if you are one of the moralless youths giving birth to after morality vacated your family. If you are holier than him, go and join politics or buy form for your family member and let's see what you will do different that has never been done before.

Remove the logs in your own eyes first before castigating him. He has come out physically to participate in politics not hiding at the back of keyboard typing rubbish and wailing like you. We need people with actions like him and not just senseless talkative like you riding on FREE MTN megabytes to post rubbish online

sreamsense:
Ride on pastor, God is your strength. He will strengthen you and protect you and your family from evil ones through out your tenors (if you win) and gives you necessary grace to remain committed to His stewardship.

Many of you castigating him are ignorant and hypocrites. You will be shouting our leaders are evil and when somebody who is morally fair from religion cycle comes out to serve, you will be shouting he has joined evil as if you are holier than them in the first place.

He owes nobody apology, he is serving God and not man; relationship with God is personal, he can only give account to God and not human; politics is dirty, but we pray we need people of integrity and morally sound profile, and when this people become bold and come out, you will be shouting again. If joining politics is easy, go and join or tell your family members that are holier than him to come out and lead us.

Politics is a profession, there are certain people in the Bible who contributed to their nation building; most of Jesus's disciples had their professions they practice. Jesus didn't say you shouldn't join politics, but being carefully is the key. As a pastor, he knows his boundary. He can't go back again into cultism now because he has been redeemed and whoever that is in Christ is a new creature, old things has past...

Many jobless online miscreants are also brainless, when somebody is implicated or mention by one hungry blog does not mean he has been found guilty, but many of this jobless online miscreants will judge that person already with their ignorances and the worst part of it is that, these set of people don't reverse even if the person involved is cleared of allegation or misconduct.

Many of these people are even worse than people they are castigating. Pastor, ride on, we are praying for you to give you grace to balance up. God bless you, God bless our able president Buhari and his vice president, you are doing your best, more grace for you to do more
6 good paragraphs!! Do you know what you could have used that time to achieve that would add good value to your life? Does Ize-iyamu know you 1 to 1?

kikero:
In as much as I feel sad for these people, the fact is, if their houses had been built accoirding to laid down plans, none of this would have happened.

Here in this country, people come in, build housing anyhow, and bribe government officals to turn a blind eye. The houses then become an eyesore, and a public health hazard., especially for the people living there. Then the government gets serious, and demolishes the houses, and people start crying.

I wish that the government offers people the chance to resettle, or the chance to at least access some funding. Also, to be frank, the government could resettle all these people in many of the empty houses in the FCT (yes, it may drive away investors, but let's be honest...housing should not be a problem in the FCT)...but we the people too should stop breaking the law, so that we don't start crying when the law catches up with us.
Wouldn't it be more effective to have a stern penalty for such officials? In this case, they have nothing to lose. This problem should be addressed ftom the ROOT. The government is equally culpable .

There are some jobs I can never ever be able to do no matter how much I'm paid...this one for example. You also need to see how the 'thugs' engaged by the Abuja environmental are so happy to chase, beat up and cease items from hawkers all in the name of enforcement.....honestly my empathy towards the Less privileged will not allow me do those kinda jobs.

This is a delicate and difficult case.

So sorry @Mizflo for what you are presently going through.

I.shilove,

F.rozen70,

Please can you offer some words of advice and encouragement to Mizflo.
Good morning.

I feel sad for the OP and all she's gone through. People have given her very good advice already.

I know it's not easy but my view is that she needs to let go of the past - the circumstances of her birth, what her Mum and Dad did, her babby daddy. We CAN'T change the past, and dwelling on it will just hold her back.

This is the time to focus on the way forward for her and her daughter. What skills can she learn? Which support group is around that she can approach? She mentioned she is active on NL, are there online courses she can take online? It's not going to be a walk in the park but it's certainly possible for diamond to emerge from the darkness of her life. I also think she needs to find her way back to God, on our own as humans there is only so much we can make happen. Wish you the best OP.
