young love first love(perhaps ) |
Never lost my phone thanks be to jah most high but i got 2stories to tell. Someone called my number (using a family's member's phone. i'd call her B) and said the owner of this phone just forgot it at so so and so place. I was stunned. I thanked him and said i will call the line back shortly as i was at work. Since I could not reach B, I called a mutual friend who decided to pick it up for B during her lunch break as she was closer to the location the phone was found. B returned home with a long long face only to see her phone. We had done all the hard work for her ![]() I got a call from a stranger who informed me of a missing phone belonging to my sister who lived in another city. As i could not reach my sister, i called her husband and advised him to pick up the phone. All was done and dusted in less than 30minutes. Good people exist in every part of the world though none of these stories happened in Naija |
Different men act in different ways depending on how their environment the sort of training they got as they grew up amongst others. I cant say for sure why your bobo acts that way but 8years seems to be a long time to invest in a relationship and break up for flimsy reasons so i will say think this through properly. You claim you dont doubt his love and all so it seems this is a habit you dont like. We all have bad habits as well yourself included. Ask yourself is it one you can live with, is it one you can talk him out of and watch him change hopefully. I tell you men are like babies especially the ones who love you and will eventually end up with you. Not all battle na gra gra. Sit him down talk to him calmly again explain what you expect and how you have changed (or made efforts) and how his own is different or happening too slow. This is not family matter his siblings and parents have to be involved with (i dont know how they got involved by your recent post unless he involved them). I tell you if a man truly loves you, you will begin to see small change. if a man is making genuine efforts at changing you will know. Pray too especially if you see yourself spending your future with him. if you are still not comfortable or feel nothing has happened then make your decision, stick by it and live with the consequences (both of you) Goodluck |

Too much hate on this thread... |
whoelse: See if you can contact then persuade the admin of PINRELOAD.com to get you the phone no. that was recharged at that time.In an ideal and developed world, these are the sort of investigations the bank is supposed to make on the customer's behalf. Usually when such cases are reported by customer, a fraud investigation will be opened where customer will be asked all sorts of questions relating to the suspicious transactions. The money spent will be credited back to customer's account pending the outcome of the investigation. If the outcome is successful the money remains with customer (while bank will pursue fraudster) and if customer is found complicit or at fault that money comes out of his account. It is a well known fact that identical amounts going out to the same company in quick sucessions are usually red flags and a good bank system will block such transactions until you call and authorise them to release the funds. We still have a long way to go in Naija... |
anticent: Perhaps,a critical look at the topic of this thread suggests a grammatical review. ![]() |

We have gotten so used to corruption in this country we don't even know where to draw the line anymore. |

Lynch him/she for what? Did he/she create himself/herself? I am more concerned as to why the individual was naked in the first place. Is it a mental issue, frustration or was he/she stripped nude? If this individual was smartly dressed and minding his/her business at least he wont draw the unwanted attention. |
collins.123:I did and i am not gay. I remember watching this episode on Funmi Iyanda and i thought to myself they have put their hands on the plough. I felt even more sorry for Bisi because i knew it would be very hard for him subsequently. Gay is not and will never be my thing but its wrong they tormented this boy. Most may disagree but thats my opinion ![]() |

Nigerian is indeed a sovereign country but the USA is also well within their right to express their displeasure over something so abhorrent to every right thinking individual. This GEJ has failed Nigeria even Obasanjo would not have done this. Corruption was the number one thing everybody wanted to fight even if we are not doing it well enough, this pardon has just exposed Nigeria to ridicule and shame AKA Abacha era. This jona ehn sorry to you guys who voted him in and to think he is here to stay for another 2years. Kai ![]() |
Sad after all these while, this problem still persists in Benue State. There has to be a reason ![]() |

We live in a society where there is little or no information on mental illness and how to go about it. There is still a stigma attached to it and i feel the writer is a bold lady for coming out with this. Most of us cant just figure how someone can claim they are depressed and begin to take medication for it like they do in the western world. We dont understand ''baby blues'' when a woman has just put to bed and will begin to question if she is not pretending or maybe needs spiritual help. Look at most comments on this thread. It is a misunderstood illness. Until the person is raving stark naked on the road with crazy dreadlocks they are not mad enough. This is not so, we need more awareness of this illness and ways of treating it in Nigeria. People need an opportunity to be treated and not judged. Let me share a story, i know of a family person who always acted strange even as a child. He was stubborn for no reason and could not sit still. We taught he was just being a stubborn boy. As he grew it became worse he was a terror at school, and would beat children and not pay attention while the teacher taught. We knew he was intelligent anyway when you spoke with him he would answer correctly but he had a short attention span. As he grew older, it grew worse. He told lies that would make your eyes water, stole religiously, ran out of the house sometimes a day at a time, was eccentric, walked up to strangers on the road and told tall tales to get money or food. Was at the Police station at some point for just being a nuisance on the street and i remember someone saying please leave him there for some days at least we know where he is and he would calm down when he gets out. We would hear ''i saw him at blablabla road, go and meet him there''. When you saw him he would run away and gradually approach feeling foolish and sorry for what he had done and put people through. Its a strange thing because once you took him home, spoke to him calmly and he ate a meal, he would apologize and carry on as any normal person but the same nonsense reoccurs in a few days. In my opinion that is a mental illness maybe a doctor would say OCD, Autism,bi polar i dont know. I am not a doctor but let me say quickly they have taken him to enough churches non stop. At some point he was prescribed some sort of medication but the effect made him act like a complete super dummy and it was discontinued ASAP. They still cope, its not always easy but slightly better. I wish there was a solid diagnosis more awareness and adequate help. |
well done guys! |
That snake has obviously swallowed something ![]() See them snapping away lol ![]() |
Another trick soak it for no longer than 10mins or so. Get a pestle and hit it lightly and also turn it around like you are rolling it. Run your hands through it and then wash. Its alot better when this is done and does not take ages. I find the white beans chaff comes off easily as opposed to the brown one |
Nah its just what it is a joke. It is going to die a natural death but certainly people have to be professional at work at all times. |
naptu2: The commandant was suspended because he did not do his job (representing the organisation) properly. The convicted criminal should also not have been pardoned. It's strange that we now condone incompetence and bad behaviour with such excuses. When a thief is caught red-handed and punished, he will complain "am I the only thief in Nigeria?" as if that is an excuse.Well spoken also in future that's what they have Public Relation officers for. The topmost oga of an organization need not talk if he cant comport himself. |
U sweet girl m loving loving loving loving loving loving your way (sings on)the bags are hot hot hot |
