runaway bride is noteworthy, its actually very deep but most people dont get this, imo. It seems like an average chick lit romance, on the surface.

however, lots of psychology there.

but, great. Never gets old and each time i watch it, its as if i'm just seeing the movie for the first time.

weird, right.

Why was the picture taken in the dinning and why is his chair different
no idea, maybe his room would have been too crowded with all the visitors, and besides, if he took the pictures while in bed, you people would still say all sorts of things.

anyway, my point is, right now, i dont think there's enough information to warrant jumping to conclusions.
Politics › Re: Governor Suntai Discharged From German Hospital by tpia5: 3:55am On Jan 03, 2013
The food placed in front of him is half eaten, meanwhile the cutlery is untouched
those are fries, which means there was probably a burger on the plate, which got eaten.

you dont use cutlery to eat those.

either that or he had mostly fries only.

people should give the man time to recuperate, jeez- did he say he's dragging the governorship with you?

Meanwhile, ask any of them what they actually learned from the sermon or overall service, and the replies will be a bunch of incoherent irrelevancies.

plappville: No probs, she is learning more from NL.... grin
I doubt she's learning anything from nl that she didnt already know before, the issue is there are too many witches, occultists and whatever launching various attacks on churches through issues that ordinarily dont require too much common sense to know are not appropriate for the context they're complaining about.

One was saying they didnt allow her to sit in front, another one is saying they didnt let her cross her legs, others will say nobody should mention their dressing, some will soon complain they werent allowed to smoke in church.

@ goshen

The op already mentioned she's catholic and the incidents happened during mass.

you can go to your church shirtless if you like, its up to you and not my concern.

Christianity Etc › Re: Crossing Your Legs In Church, Is It Wrong? by tpia5:
too many rabble rousers on nl, nothing of substance but all they know how to do is make mountains out of molehills and malign others.

**forgotten what i wanted to type before, but it was something along the lines of perhaps the op has some kind of difficulty sitting still, or a hyperactivity problem, since she's an adult yet finds it hard to follow instructions**

anyway, i suppose the thread is best left for the ones in support of the op.

she's the one with the problem either way.
Politics › Re: Governor Suntai Discharged From German Hospital by tpia5: 5:10pm On Jan 02, 2013
I dont see how the man behind him is supporting him, because they're separated by the back of the chair .

The chairs were drawn close together, same as in any similar photo, and that's why some are assuming he's being supported on the side.

The major thing which is making the photo look strange is the fact that he's not making an effort to smile, unlike the others.

He just survived a very serious plane crash - he will smile later when he's fully recovered!
Politics › Re: Governor Suntai Discharged From German Hospital by tpia5: 4:56pm On Jan 02, 2013
He looks better in the second picture btw.

A bit more animated.
Politics › Re: Governor Suntai Discharged From German Hospital by tpia5: 4:48pm On Jan 02, 2013
Its too early for this kind of photo op.

He cant have recovered fully yet and needs more time to rest. I think he's still in a state of shock.

Thank God for his mercies sha.

Where are his previous pictures to compare with this one?

I've only seen his his official photo, where he was smiling .
Christianity Etc › Re: Crossing Your Legs In Church, Is It Wrong? by tpia5: 6:53am On Jan 02, 2013
nobody is proving anything to anybody.

she was corrected on a certain matter and that's that.

if she likes, she should continue arguing.

learn to adapt to your environment- if your church doesnt like you crossing your legs for whatever reason, then just sit properly when you're there for the one hour or so of service.

you can cross your legs all you want after you leave.

why are women always so stubborn about flouting church authority?
Islam › Re: A Muslims View On Christmas by tpia5: 2:49am On Jan 02, 2013
i dont think anyone was asking for gifts at christmas, not sure where you got that.

christmas is not celebrated by muslims, the issue here is there's no need to get so upset during this time.

however, someone [in the link i quoted] said muslims find the christmas period stressful, so we'll just go with this explanation.

i did not notice this stress when i was back home [cant remember], but since terrorists in nigeria also timed their deadly attacks around christmas, i suppose there's something there.

plappville: Home training should be done at home not in the church... grin grin; D; D; D
she's been told severally by people, including her mum.

she needs to make an effort to listen.
Christianity Etc › Re: Crossing Your Legs In Church, Is It Wrong? by tpia5: 11:57pm On Jan 01, 2013
its a question of context.

in the nightclub, you're expected to cross your legs or sit with your underwear in free show, but when going to church, people would like to be able to concentrate or at least follow the service without unnecessary arrogant distraction.

you can cross your legs at the ankles if you cant do without it, and if there's enough leg room for that, but it still wouldnt necessarily portray a good image of you.

when in rome, do as the romans, is the standard practice.

why is it always women with these issues?

@ op

their telling you these things is part of home training.

everything does not have to have a logical explanation, and neither are you entitled to one all the time.

learn to follow simple instructions even if you dont agree with them, as long as they're not inimical to your being.

Blackteeth: What makes you think a platonic relationship is when a guy finds only a lady's character desirable?
arent you contradicting yourself.

Part of what makes a guy fall in love is sexual attraction. Why should it automatically mean a booty call thing?
love based on sexual attraction is lust.

booty call is some people's understanding of your write up.
