I find it funny if not ridiculous that IIGBOS expect Nigerians to vote for them just because they could insult everyone.

Politics is done and elections are won based on forming friendship and alliances and not Insults.


As a non-igbo who never wants IIGBOS to ever rule Nigeria, I would advice the IIGBOS not to heed Soludo's advice which is exactly what they are doing now.

The funny thing about obigbo(Oyigbo is a fictitious name created in 1976) is that before the Army invaded the place, nobody in obigbo and the entire Rivers State was complaning that ipob was disturbing them in any way

Then endsars protest came and the authorities decided to do what they do best, they tried to suppress the right of people to freely protest by clamping down on them with brute and deadly force. While endsars protesters were protesting at obigbo, the authorities opened fire on them, someone was reportedly killed, and the peaceful protesters turned violent, attacked the security forces, burnt down their station and some other properties. Something similar happened in almost every state in Southern Nigeria as endsars protests turned violent across board

The very next day, without any investigation whatsoever, Wike blamed the entire violence on ipob and urged the security to move into obigbo

Common sense would tell anyone that no criminal stays at the scene of their crime. If ipob actually attacked obigbo, they would not stay there knowing the authorities are coming

So the highly unprofessional and undisciplined Nigerian Army just moved into obigbo and started killing people indiscriminately and destroying property. A Nigerian Soldier does no know who is ipob and who is not, nobody has ipob written on their forehead. Many people, even a young girl who came to see her fiancee in his shop were killed by the Nigerian Army. Others were indiscriminately arrested, tortured and taken to different detention centres in Nigeria without any charge

The tragedy of the obigbo massacre is that Wike killed his people for no reason. ipob was not disturbing anyone in Rivers State, and he used the endsars violence to accuse the group, with no evidence. Wike even accused an innocent man, Stanley Mgbere, of being the leader of ipob in Rivers State and put 50 million Naira on his head. Turns out the guy has nothing to do with ipob and pictures of him carrying Nigerian flag at endsars protest went viral. The same way Wike falsely accused ipob is the same way he falsely accused Stanley Mgbere. Had Wike had any sense in his head, he would ordered a thorough investigation of what happened in obigbo before acting

But all Wike cared about was acting in a way that would make him appealing to his Northern slave masters, because of Presidential ambition

Wike killed his people for nothing

If you think there was, name the kings/leaders of this city, it's main festivals or Traditional ceremonies and populae areas/streets that are significant in it's History.
