Stop talking like a fool. The Ikwerre girl in the video was asked what "come" is in the Ikwerre language and said it is "Bia". If you were asked which people say bia as come, you would have said Igbo. What is the difference between Nsukka people, Abiriba people, Ngwa people and Ikwerres people. They speak the same language, have the same surnames and practice the same culture. Thats why they are all known as "Igbos"

There is no difference between an Ikwerre man and anyone from the South East except denials. If denial is how someone is identified as Igbo then it means that the Nsukka, Abiriba and Ngwa man can stop being Igbo any time they like just by denying it.

If 'bia' is your evidence of being igbo, you should realize that some Ikwerre actually say 'vaa' for come, same as the Eshan, Ga in Ghana and some tribes that have traced their origin to idu.

The Igbo people that I know that identify more with igodomigodo and their bini origin are the Onitsha people.

A lot of tribes migrated from there during the great war even all the way to Ghana.

Regarding Bianca Ojukwu's brother, I think he was talking about his family and not the whole of Ngwo but it reflects the migratory origin of most inhabitants of that area. See the interview below

You forgot that environmental factors influence the languages and cultures of a people.

I remember Bianca Ojukwu's brother traced their family origin to Idu which is the present day Bini, where the Ikwerres also trace their origin. Do the Onohs speak edo language or bear their names?

Giadom is an Ogoni man from Rivers State and has some APC heavy weights behind him like El Rufai, Amaechi etc. They are out to clip Tinubu's wings and make sure he remains 'the national leader' only on the pages of newspapers. Oshiomole is Tinubu's hope of controlling the party's machinery ahead of 2023, so taking him out is to make Tinubu become as powerless and vulnerable as that homeless dog you see under Obalende bridge.

They were actually shouting corruption in the newspapers and internet fora but their main anger as stimulated by Tinubu and his gang, was that Jonathan did not give them 'juicy appointments' and that he was favoring the Igbos more than the Yoruba. They did not hide these feelings when 'the Yoruba nation' met in Ibadan b4 the election. They accused him of denying them 'speaker' despite the fact that it was Tinubu that connived with northerners to do that. They said Jonathan was commander in chief so he could have been able to counter Tinubu if he had wanted. I even heard some of them saying that Jonathan was building second niger bridge but did not build fourth mainland bridge for them in Lagos. It was all about greed and selfishness.

Obasanjo should have mentioned why he felt she was not fit for the position. He expected he would be the one to handpick for Jonathan after occupying the position himself for 8 years while also the president. In terms of academic qualifications, exposure to the oil and gas industry who amongst the past and even the current man occupying the position is better qualified than Deziani.

Obasanjo is not bold enough to tell Nigerians that he did not support Jonathan go for a second term simply because of the state burial he gave to Ojukwu whom he always saw as his arch enemy and undeserving of such honour and also, not allowing Obasanjo to use him to fight his personal battles and make unneccessary enemies. Very petty old man.

OP the SS and the SE will not unite with the Yoruba/SW. The SS/SE have decided to chart their own course without the crafty greedy self centred Yorubas. The only crime Jonathan committed is that he "did not give the yorubas juicy appointments" according to the Yoruba nation in Ibadan before the election. You felt the Igbos were benefitting more from his government.

I would suggest you put a stop to this stupidity you are throwing around.

I personally blame Buhari for the current crisis in the region. Like in most African countries, there were already existing cracks within the country's fabrics which were expanded by the last general election. What a sensible leader that genuinly has the unity of the country at heart and sees everyone as equal should have done immediately after the elction, was to make deliberate efforts for the entire country to forget the election, forge a common front and move the country forward. Alas! Buhari started seeing himself as a conqueror that has people that he sees as his enemies that must be dealt with and treated with disdain, and those that are 'his people'. The most stupid thing he did was the '97% 5%' comment he made on an international television and his subsequent actions, carrying on with the feeling that he could intimidate and threating anyone, group or region without being challenged simply because he has some idiots who didn't understand the rudiments of governance that were always cheering him on.

He felt he could take from Peter and give to Paul simply because Paul voted for him, and Peter did not. In every sane society, once someone is elected, you forget about who voted for you and who did not. Infact in trying to implement your programmes that made people to vote for you, you also try to see how you can make those who did not vote you, to see you differently in the next election. So he decided from the begining that he wanted to rule a divided country and that is what he is getting now.
