drlateef:lol. Pa Tinubu did not graduate with a first class. He never said he did, and you have no proof of his phantom first class or even that he admitted to being one. Y'all just spreading that lie with glee. |
Not if I know, NO! There are so so many other vaginas to choose from. |
leody:bon voyage! |
naijaboy99:yea I already mentioned this your submission a couple of times. Jobs not considered here, are suddenly acceptable. Selling duplexes to live in much tighter spaces. It's the euphoria, which is fine I guess. They are where they wanna be. But still, saving $30 a day is still very very doable for the typical Nigerian with their head screwed on properly. |
leody:lol. I know someone that... I have a friend that... my guy what haven't you saved 15000cad in 3 MTHS, why is it always your friends or someone you know. Lol. Omo! |
OP, please as much as I'm all for balanced reporting with regard to this japa matter, your assumption is way way off the mark. Saving habits differ from person to person, financial management skills differ from person to person, pay scale also differ from person to person. Therefore, the title of your thread and that claim is outrightly preposterous. Cheers |
They were never married,so that is a break-up/separation, not a divorce. |
Brexxit:lol. Find something to sell too. That is foundation of commerce the world over. A word of advice. Empty belle! Modified. Just saw your little stint at selling and already a fraud label? Not off to a good start o. |
Hybkay:God bless you too. Have a great evening. |
Jeez. This sucks. The husband no try. How do you explain this to your children? |
CountVersailles:people like me, KNOW who they are and what we are made of. We don't settle for mediocrity here or over the sea. I'm an all or nothing kinda person. Anyone can live anywhere, e no 'consign' me. I don talk wetin dey absurd TO ME about the matter. Anyhow you or anyone else comprehends it is none of my bizwax. If you catch me in Canada or anywhere else, I'm coming as a solution/job provider sef, not as a worker. Where I am on Maslow's hierarchy of needs differs from yours. And I don't even need to have millions to be there. Ciao. |
CountVersailles:lol. |
jedisco:the volume of your posts here is mind-boggling, yet i'm the one loitering. Once again, slow your role! Your positions and assumptions are wayyyy off. I have already stated my ONLY reason for considering travelling earlier. Conquering the world and having that mindset is what I'm preaching and living, but that isn't what the wave of Nigerians are doing. They want to just get to the white man's land. Which is why many won't even mind doing jobs they wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole at home. And end up with humble, uninspiring lives. This is what most settle for and are ok with (you said so yourself), as long as it is in the white man's land. I never can quite understand that. Ciao! |
jedisco:says the one who took the easy way out. Shut your pie hole! Next! |
Lol! Shebi na black man, who knows, maybe a Nigerian nairalander sef. His respect and admiration for the white man is unfazed. That dude still loves Prince (now King) Charles even after being treated with less admiration than a dog. No, let me correct that. No Admiration! You can bet on it. Nothing special abeg |
Bibitayo2:they left because of misleading threads, the thrill of the wuruwuru conversions and the bandwagon effect. Believe me, most people leaving are leaving cos everyone seems to be leaving. No plan, no ambition. I just must japa too. Believe it. Nigeria is a shithole confirmed, but those that will stinkingly prosper in it will still prosper. Do you realise, most of the averagely well to do ppl, were actually pretty comfy. Had a car, some sef house, 24hr electricity. But yearned for more, which isn't a bad thing. Security is important. Access to healthcare and good education is important. But over there comes with its own challenges, moral decadence and pollution (most of the japarians should be warming up to have many LGBTQ children in a few years time, for sure), racism, inclement weather, gangs and gun violence in some places, rocky marriages (if you like deny this) etc. Me personally, that first one bothers me a lot. I would rather my kids are teens, well formed and not so impressionable, before sending them there for education, assuming the educational system is still decayed here by then. The thing is there are so many things to consider both ways, that most right now aren't even thinking about. They just want to japa and be making 20million naira per month based off of wuruwuru conversions they saw on Nairaland...oh and to be able to take pictures in the abroad too...lol. hilarious |
9japride:your opinion. But you lot are missing the point of all this. Even fellow Christians like I am. So your blessings are only in another man's land? Ppl get a visa and do Thanksgiving? You lot don't see that there is a mental anomaly going on here. God does have a diff plan for everyone. For some, it is God's plan to move outside the shores of your country, but for most it is our own plan which comes from a very deep-seated place of inadequacy or inferiority. Like you legit believe you are not blessed and God hasn't answered your prayer until you go to the white man's land. One thing this thread and the many like it have proven is that the white man will always be superior. Pre or post colonization, even if there is a reset of the world today, the white man is and will always be 10x superior to the black man, EXCEPT ME sha. It is sad, really sad. I'm looking into start-up visas, due to the fact that the infrastructure to support my brain-child isn't yet available or firmly rooted in Nigeria. If that doesn't work, that's it. I ain't never gonna sell all I have built up here to get on a ship to the white man's land to hustle. My forefathers already did that. |
emmaodet:guy you couldn't have said it any better. I asked a question on one Canada thread a few days ago, make all the noisemakers mention assets owned and fully paid for for the duration of their time in Canada. Na radio silence I get o. Same people always bragging about making 20million naira per month after their wuruwuru conversion now suddenly felt keeping whatever they have to show for their years in Canny or elsewhere private. They don't understand that the only basis for their slight upper hand in recent years is the dwindling naira. I bought a 1000usd watch in 2014 just for fun and I wasn't earning 500k. I brought in scanners worth 4000usd and shipped with DHL another 800usd in that same year. And one person prolly using a car that cost 3k USD with no shipping and clearing costs wan buga me wey get two fully paid for with shipping and clearing, and in my own house also fully paid for, however small it is. Most of them no get NADA to their name. Maybe a few have the balls to take a mortgage lobatan. Before most of these noisemakers strike gold, some still stay upwards of 15-20years. Do they know what I can achieve here in 15-20years. It is the arrogance for me, all of a sudden you are better, richer and wiser now simply cos you stepped foot in another country. Lol. We know naija has its issues and there are valid reason to japa, but please enough with the 'noise and no show' most times. Like say we no get friends wey don dey these countries up to 10years, most of which don't OWN the things we own, at least as at now. Abeg. |
Ok. So, no one. Got it. Cheers! |
Brexxit:Are you in Canada? How long have you been in Canada? Do you have one of these assets? The questions are pretty basic and clear. Answer clearly, if you can. Cheers |
I thought there'd be responses by now. It's just redundant always reading, 'i know people who are making xyz' or 'my friend is doing abc'. I would like to read true to God honest responses on the above, from someone directly, not a friend or someone they know. This notion of significant prosperity as described in this thread and other threads, should be a commonplace thing with many attested beneficiaries. |
One request, just one and pls tell the truth as God is your witness. I want one person currently in Canada to tell me. 1. How long you have been in Canada 2. What assets your wealth has bought you in Nigeria in that time or elsewhere. Not borrowed assets or installment payments/mortgage o. Actual liquid assets you have paid for in full in that time frame. I want to compare something. |
Hope to not get caught in this one-way web (cos not everyone knowingly drove into one-way), but if for whatever reason I do and my car is about to be impounded. I will invoke my last right to damage my car there and then. Lastma has the right to impound but only the court has right to grant forfeiture.. I will destroy that car before it ever gets to the yard or court. No One else will use it. Coke and mentos is all I need to do the trick, or just open the engine oil cap, with a sprinkle of bashed windscreen, windows and stabbed tyres. Na that day dem go see new display never seen before. If I will lose the car might as well lose it on my terms...I no go fight anybody, I go just kuma destroy the car. Lol |
AstraDroid:therein lies the first lie. The errant boy is 15, yet she claims she has been dealing with that for 15 years...meaning the boy was born mad straight outta the womb, right? No |
Ddokie:na wetin dem dey claim be that. |
AishaDant:small small ehn. Dealing with what for 15 years, the 15 year-old boy was born mad?? Cos that is what you are indirectly saying. The fact is the so called mental problem is just an excuse. I'm very sure it isn't schizophrenia (actual madness), but rather some flimsy emotional mess the white man tags mental illness. Mood swing sef na mental illness, they now call them bipolar disorders. Even a raving mad kid here, won't do that shit. Moreso, with the recent gofundme angle, I'm very tempted to believe the whole thing was staged. |
Ddokie:correct! even one with real choko mental illness here, sabi say cane or koboko dey and e dey pain wella. The so-called mental illness wey dem dey try use as excuse, fit just be our own regular mood swings o. But they will blow it out of proportion there, give it a fancy name and drugs to go with it, drugs that more often than not even complicates things. Pikin don spoil rotten, dem dey say mental illness |
babajeje123:you keep saying sane clime. Read what you wrote up there, how does that qualify as a sane clime? Don't even get me started on the incredulous claims like how the girl intends to prove that she told you not to nut in her. Video or voice recording when she was saying so while bleeping the dude?? Incredulous tales of a 'sane clime' |
Op is a bonafide certified jester. OYO state 70%?? Hehehe |
Wrong move, my nigaa. Fury wins this by knockout, and AJ's reputation sinks to the lowest of lows. If AJ was smart, he would resign and go enjoy his fortune and engage in other endeavours, but he wants to be 'creed'. Goodluck mate! |
EazyMoh:that wire has nothing to do with it. It is usu in most toks cars somewhere ard the battery/radiator side, for both Canadian and American. Tried googling what it was used for back in the day, but didn't really get the answer I was looking for. Na to look for specialist be that, or ask the seller. Maybe he knows the procedure to reset it. Chances are he would have disconnected the battery at some point in the past, and may know how to navigate this. Finally, stop washing engine bay. You can clean, but don't wash. I hope you get this sorted ASAP. |
I see this a lot. People washing engine bay like it is a plate. With high pressure hose at that. Very very wrong practice. Even back when I dey sell toks cars, I 'detail' the engine bay myself, by hand, meticulously area by area, till it is done. You clean the area, with damp clothes, brushes etc, not spray the area with a high pressure hose. Someone bought a car from me just like this and was calling a few weeks later to tell stories just like yours. I was livid, me wey don dey fear say wetin fit happen to a pristine car, only to find out he went to submerge the engine bay in water. My response to him is the same I'm about to tell you, 'Get a competent mechanic to troubleshoot that car'. Hopefully whatever has been damaged won't cost you too much. |
