Kasssandra:I know your type well. You would rather die then admit you are wrong just to remain being perceived as smart. So, as smart as may be, you still end up coming off short..kinda like FFK, an eloquent shitbag. Your Lagos - bridging cost theory was shit, no matter how hard you hold on to it. Contend with that! Won't be responding to you again. |
Kasssandra:lol. Even holds a grudge like a woman. Pele ti e oo. |
Kasssandra:lol |
Kasssandra:yap on smartypants. I know you can't help yourself. |
Kasssandra:yea, i have said nothing about subsidy..just pointed out the illogicality in that statement you made in response to that question. Nothing more, nothing less. |
Kasssandra:you can't even help yourself to start with. Which is why it is wise to pace yourself, as too much talk eventually comes with the risk of nonsense slipping in, exactly what has played out here. Cheers |
Kasssandra:so the scarcity in Lagos is due to bridging costs that transporters will incur when moving petroleum product from loading points in Lagos to other states, but somehow still affected Lagos the loading point in solidarity. No be so? Lmao. This guy! Na only go enjoy this your pot of beans. Cheers. |
TheAdvocate:ehn, dem say due to the floods, those trucks you mentioned are finding it difficult to move the product to Abuja. |
Kasssandra:still egging on. Fact remains, the bridging cost explanation does not satisfy that guy's question, at all. Lagos can still have fuel, till measures are put in place for other locations. This isn't even hypothetical, this still happened just a few months ago like I have explained. |
Kasssandra:I have been reading your posts...some of the points have some merit, while others like this one with the bolded, has obvious holes in it, but you keep egging on, providing responses from a perceived point of superior knowledge. This guy asked a very simple question, but your answer was so off the mark..if you hadn't responded you would have really saved face. Like he said, Lagos shouldn't have scarcity due to the bridging cost explanation you gave. All the transporters need to do is focus on Lagos alone, till that is sorted out. It played out in the last scarcity which first started off with the bad fuel brouhaha that happened. Ibadan scarcity still lingered for about a month after Lagos scarcity had eased off due to the bridging cost conveying the product to Ibadan and other places outside Lagos. The solution was FG directed them to sell at 180 so the diff of 10-15 naira would sort that out. At that time, and for a long time after that fuel was cheaper in Lagos than Ibadan with about 10 naira at least. Dunno about now, haven't bought fuel in Lagos in any of my recent trips there. |
Adjovi:lol. And every green snake a green mamba, even despite glaring evidence. |
sooperrescue:death to the red cans..lol. Cheers |
NLPoliceWoman:Rule 1 Rule 2 (this moniker is not a mod, and unilaterally picks on people, whilst ignoring others). As proof, this monicker has NEVER reported a certain who flagrantly does the bolded. Seun Dominique Mynd44 |
FreeStuffsNG: Racoon:Racoon on point per usual.. I had to use this post as an example of what intelligence writes/reads/sounds like. Nothing more to say! Cheers. |
ble01:if you don't want the Hyundai ATF, you can buy the Total Fluidmatic MV/LV (Dexron vi) ATF... specifically that! Buy only from Total filling station so you are getting the original, preferably from a mega total station so there is the likelihood they will have it in stock. Be prepared to spend comparable amount. |
ble01:don't try it! I assure you if you use that crappy fluid, you will certainly damage your transmission. Your car calls for SPiii OR Dexron vi atf. I have it. It is 8k per litre. Quote if you're interested. |
ednut1:lol. Na you dey throw unwarranted jabs. My post was actually light hearted, cos you are typically on the other side of the divide on this argument. I was genuinely surprised when I saw 'that' post from you. |
ednut1:you sef dey read, you response was for a question in a clearly and correctly titled thread, was the person asking that question a student?? Lol. And yet you are talking about comprehension. Even the initial link you shared wasnt referencing students. So it is clear who didn't comprehend on all fronts comrade. So like I said na only young naija pipo in Canny dey ball as e be so. Great times! |
ednut1:Ednut1, iro oooo..na you type this thing wey I dey see so?? Awon Omo naija nikan lo n ball ni Canny niyen o, because you have disagreed with this paycheck-to-paycheck narrative for as long as I can remember (hasn't been that long sha) |
Read a thread in this same travel section yesterday, and in it there was a link to an article of a tech guy (not even director or top management o), just gigs techguy that claimed he made about 43m per annum, but still travelled for 'more'. He say he no see more money, say him earning don drop by almost half, but he see more peace onto say he fit go midnight walks (lol) ...all while reading the article, I no even ponder say whether na lie full there or na true, I was just pondering say shey no be 'ise aye' be this bayi? 43m per annum in Nigeria! I swear 2 atomic bombs will land first before I leave, because the first one may be a mistake. I would need to hear of two before I'm sure. Orisirisi. 100m in 3years of immigrating, very possible with proceeds of crime eg Hushpuppy and Invictus Obi |
Kaycee54321:hilarious. |
och12:fixed. |

Kaycee54321:lol. Issokay na. Roll up your sleeves cos you have plenty of work to do. With this your doomsday conclusion you gats relocate popsy, money, your brother(s), sister(s), uncle, aunt, cousin, grandparents (if still alive) in short the whole family tree before I take you seriously. Afterall, what kinda person would you be leaving your loved ones at the mercy of the situation you have so eloquently described? OP, eti e melo! sit your ass down and grow your empire. You have an opportunity many would give an arm and leg for, earning good foreign money right here in Nigeria. E be like say you no know wetin GOD do for you, if that screenshot you put up there is true. But hey, if you are still itching/yearning, Goodluck! AssistntBoyfrnd: |
iiifedimma:failed system is why he was driving drunk abi? Likely over speeding and not wearing a seat belt. You are one hell of a judge. Watch Grey's anatomy and see how people like him whose head went through a windshield still died even with the best neurosurgeon on standby. Accident victims can die, anywhere..home and abroad. Like Dagrin, like Rico they killed themselves, end of. Ps: I'm not claiming saint. I drove drunk and raced a friend in 2014, lost control and ran over a median on high speed and hit a pole with the passenger side. Only thing that saved me that day at well past 1am was God and the fact that I wore a seatbelt. If I had died, na me cause am not Naija. That day was the last time I drank to stupor. I had always been able to take 2 bottles of big stout and still be seemingly fine. Well that day I took 3, and felt confident, till it really kicked in and I made more stupid decisions. If I wanna drink anything at all now, i get home first. Cheers |
CountVersailles:mad oh!!! Hehehe |
owobokiri:that is one worthless bow and shaking of hands. Gumi is infinitely irrelevant. He might as well meet with this noisemaker director of MURIC too then. Ishaq Akintola and Gumi have comparable relevance. |
Wetin e dey find go where this bearded terrorist dingbat dey? Of what value is a meeting with Gumi of all people? Sometimes, PO sef dey do like person wey no dey as smart as I think/hope he is. It's like PO meeting with Oyetola, he def isn't gonna side with you but at least that one was a former governor, so has some relevance. What relevance or worth does Gumi have?? |
Skylord247:exactly. Nothing like block north votes for one person, also no block SW votes. So that is great for PO, who will get block SE votes and considerable votes everywhere else, except core north. |
AllTheWayUp:lol. Mushroom analysis at best. Atiku will ONLy dominate core north, albeit dragging some states with Kwaks. PO on the other hand has the whole SE, SS, NC, FCT and parts of the SW (at least 30%). I will wait and see the magic trick either Atiku or Emilokan will pull up to upset what i have just said. |
This is not an issue of sham marriages and/or shady study POF. This is the whites once again showing their disdain and showing you that they can spit in your face all they want. There are two clear issues, which are valid but it is still of their own design. Ironically, this is being championed by someone who is from an immigrant household. First issue is they say una immigrants dey unskilled. Yep, all ye top people going to do care jobs are unskilled as far as the UK is concerned. How? You all aren't contributing enough to the GDP to justify your presence. Immigrants have to do 17x extra to get good jobs with good salary in UK standards, not naira conversion. Meaning whatever taxes you think you are paying now is not significant enough. The population is increasing due to the influx, but GDP per capita is reducing because the influx are not contributing enough to the economy due to the fact that they are in unskilled low level jobs. This is a fact, but like I said it is their own design. Second issue, that concerns Nigerians negatively is that bar chart that was in the news last week or so. That bar chat is like a flashing neon light screaming 'these Nigerians need serious attention'. We aren't the highest number of immigrants but we have the overwhelmingly highest student-dependednt ratio, basically 1:1, while other that have almost x7 of student population have like ratio 9:1 and even higher. That is LOUD and warrant attention by any analyst. So, you see, another fact, but this one is not totally of their design, but can I blame the Nigerians who are moving their families along with them, because their true purpose of travelling wasn't studying? I would be called a bad belle if I said that, but ask yourslef if it is a lie. It is clear to them that Nigerians particularly aren't really coming for study. Two things will happen now. One, they will still make admissions easy, but post-study will be limited to only specific fields, skills, experiences. Everyone else gets 6mth to a year PSW, after which failure to get job sponsorship, you're out. Second, they will cap the number of dependants that can come to 1 (they may limit this to just Nigeria). This will put a lot of people in a dilemma. Family man wey get wife and two children, who will be the dependent??. Cc Jedisco I'd like to hear your thoughts on my points |
Lexusgs430:na so oo.. lol What's funny is you can say this, and all agree you're offering clarification + stating a fact, yet Munamoqel said same a while ago and was called bad belle. But still on still, if I have made a down-payment and I have the keys, I should be able to rent parts of the house out, provided I don't default for the duration of that arrangement...and beyond. phyl123:interesting. So I pay shitload of money to get a house I'd probably spend my productive years paying for, but the income I can make on my hefty investment is capped to 625 a month. Na wa o. What tax rate will apply when it is higher than 625 a month? |
