We have been talking about transport...we havent even touched the main subsidy thing...which government is finding difficult to pay, and has been over the years. It costs money to pay for subsides as a whole...not just bridging costs.

As at June, NNPC was saying that without subsidy, fuel would be costing between N300-400 . From the hints government has been dropping, it has been difficult to pay subsdies, and debts and so forth.

The transporter companies also have to transport fuel to other parts of the country.

So under the current circumstances, a profit made in Lagos by transporter company Treadway, is eaten up by the losses the same transporter company Treadway makes when transporting fuel to Kano, Enugu, Owerri, Lafia and Yola, as well as Ibadan and Abuja.

It can, but the thing is, transporters don't supply ONLY lagos...that is what you guys miss...plus YOU wanted transporters to stop supplying the rest of Nigerian, and do only Lagos.

That is not how things work. Most transporters don't supply only Lagos...they supply other parts of the nation.

At the end, if you were a businessman, you won't operate at a loss. That is why subsidy has to go. There is no such thing as cheap fuel...it costs money to make, transport, and sell...and people like to be paid.

So, if you are a transporter, and you are losing money transporting fuel to Kano, or Enugu, it does not matter if you are making money transporting to Lagos...the losses from elsewhere will eat your Lagos profit.

I don't see anyone stopping Atiku from polling the highest overall votes across the country on February 23rd 2023 presidential election.
Atiku will win the North, and just settle for second highest votes in the south South, second highest votes in south east and second highest votes in the south west , and will still become President elect.
Not even Wike or his camp can prevent an Aitku electoral Victory.
The only stopping of Atiku becoming President is for the two Southern candidate to Unite.
Either Tinubu steps down for Peter Obi or Peter Obi steps down for Atiku, otherwise it is congratulations in advance to Atiku Abubakar.
