AntiChristian:You said if yoga is Hindu, people should run from it Why? |
AntiChristian:Why don't you run away from drinking water since some people worship it? |
As long as you don't focus on any image of a deity while practicing ,there's nothing wrong in yoga body exercises and its breathing and meditations techniques. |
budaatum:Seen that . I am afraid he has some issues. I just sent you a mail |
budaatum:He didn't show up and I think the job has been taken by another. |
budaatum:Given up on him. Tried my best. |
@folykaze, please ignore him. Just imagine the kind of reply you got from asking a simple and straightforward question |
Dtruthspeaker:Ur head dey shake |
Dtruthspeaker:What is this unfounded belief you think I have? |
FOLYKAZE:Very good question. |
Dtruthspeaker:You brought in the binoculars to distract. It wasn't a trap. You're known to always come up with unrelated and nonsensical arguments each time you discuss. Na ur way be dat |
Most Nigerians don't consider the consequences of the action they take . Since we believe in God , evil won't be our portion. So, we have the license to misbehave |
Dtruthspeaker:You're not exactly in line. The distance you have given is from where in calabar ? Modified. But Telescope is what the op focused on. Why bring in binoculars? |
sarris:People also complain about them too. But whether we complain or not, the politicians and the pastors who take advantage of their gullible members to enrich themselves are both parasites that live off on the resources of others |
Why is she seriously concerned that members are angry if those pastors are actually doing the right thing? |
Dtruthspeaker:You don't know how binoculars work. If there's nothing to obstruct your view from where you're standing in calabar, you can view the beach in port Harcourt |
Workch:You comment is not relevant. Anyone who has read the op and understand it very well shouldn't be asking that kind of question. Naijasatanist has given a very simple and clear explanation that even a child in primary school should understand |
Niflheim:What you describe up there is not karma but the law of Moses in the Christian Bible. Karma is a Sanskrit word which simply means "action" or "deeds" .Don't be hung up on the word , karma. You can use your own word in your local language to describe the same thing. Karma has nothing to do with belief. It simply means the effects of the actions you take which could be good or bad. No god or entity punishes any one with karma. If you constantly act in a dishonesty manner to people close to you, after some time, no body wants to do anything serious with you because they can no longer trust you. People not wanting to do anything with you is the karma you suffer for your previous acts of dishonesty Karma is also the reason you're able to read my response to your comment. If you didn't go to school to learn how to read you wouldn't have reaped the karma of literacy. The owner of the building that collapsed in Lagos recently, was unfortunate to have been in the building when it came down. The collapse of the building was the result of an action taken in the past. Karma did not punish the man but figuratively we can say it did. When people say you're being punished by karma they dont mean it literarily Those who think karma is punishment from a god are people with limited information about what it represent Karma makes you to act with more responsibility since it makes you to always consider the possible effect of whatever actions you are about to take. |
It is not faith but foolishness to lose your life when you have every opportunity to keep it. Even a fool would do everything to stay alive.. What would make any normal person to want to end their life on the basis of faith in order to please a god? The answer is uncommon brainwashing. Anyone who has been pushed with indoctrination into that arena of faith where common sense is completely forgotten and later manage to come out of it, is in a better position to know. I have been in that state before and came out .So I have the experience . There was a period in my life when I contemplated joining the jw group but after I had done a deeper investigation of the group, what I found shocked me greatly and put me off . I ran as fast as my legs could carry me The organization , JW, I found out, was using an insidious form of mind control tactics on its members to make them submit their minds completely so they, the members, can accept without questioning anything they are being taught and obey whatever instructions dished out to them even if it involves the individual dying for the organization . The tactics they use, is one of the most cruelest in the books of those who try to employ mind control techniques on unsuspecting victims. The members are not aware of what is being done to them from behind the curtains. How am I sure of this? It was the same methods employed by another religious group I was part of in the past and managed to escape from. That group almost took complete control of my mind .But some series of earth shaking personal experiences during that period , gradually woke me up and I started to realise what was going on. .Then, I decided that if I want to live a normal life again, I need to fight back to take back my life that was almost no longer under my control. Leaving that group was not enough. It took me a period of about 10 years of intermittent counselling to finally integrate myself into normal society.. I struggled to cope outside of the group influence. People under that kind of control are not even aware of the kind of damage their mind is gradually being subjected to. You are being turned into a zombie; someone who acts without thinking and obeys only the group instructions and no other. So ,@op, the decision of your friend to refuse blood transfusion was not hers but that of those who have completely taken control of her mind. She was a victim of something evil and not Faith. |
budaatum:Sent you a mail now |
budaatum:Seen |
Crystyano:Just called her now. She says nobody has called her from lagos. Check the number you called again to be sure you dialed the correct thing. I have sent it to your phone again |
Crystyano:Your phone has been switched off and the person in charge has been expecting your call . You need to let the person know that you're interested before any other thing. .she will inform you of everything you need to know concerning the job and answer any questions you may have. You should be aware that you're not the only one applying for the few positions available. |
In other words, to eradicate criminality in Nigeria, the government should pay every criminal monthly salary. Gumi |
Religion really has nothing to do with why some countries are more corrupt than others. It may appear so to you, but it is not what it seems. Poverty and the level of literacy is to be blamed. If religion is banned in Nigeria , it wouldn't result in less corruption or make people start to reason rationally As long as poverty still remains and there is no access to good quality education, people will do anything to survive or behave the way they like. It is like a war situation where people will do anything to eat anything and drink anything to stay alive. If poverty becomes endemic in those countries you mentioned, corruption will start to reign over there. Eradicating religion is not the solution. I can't find anywhere in the Koran or Bible where adherents are advised to embrace corruption or behave irresponsibly. It all boils down to the people practicing those religion. |
Crystyano:Connect me with your dad when you meet with him. I would like to speak with him |
budaatum:Thanks for your concern. I already replied crystano. Everything now depends on him to do his part. |
budaatum:If he comes to take the job, will let you know |
budaatum:Ok |
Crystyano:Replied |
Crystyano:It is something you can do and still have time to do other things |
Crystyano:When you send the details, I will forward it to the person in charge. I already let her know someone might come from Lagos. She would discuss with you and let you know what to do and the kind of job. You're not paying anything to get the job. |
