thoth: The World Bank Witch and her IMF cohorts are planning on how to trap nigeria to borrow more money from them and further dish out their poisonous conditions and austerity measures on us. I wonder what they will want after taking all the National assets, maybe our women will be used to borrow money by then.
Nigeria is borrowing billions every 4 months or so but they are not telling you the conditions on which these transactions were carried out. I strongly believe that the people should agitate to be informed on the conditions which we borrow these money , it is really important the masses know. Buhari fought against this world bank/ IMF demons and Western backed IBB overthrow him and gave us SAP, Abacha fought against same demonic forces and he was assassinated to have the zero conscience Obasanjo to initiate the sale of Nigeria piece by piece in the Name of Forced IMF deregulation and libelization polices and now to Jonathan we stupidly installed an IMF proxy as our Finance Minister ? With all the dooms they created all over Africa and the other parts of the world we are still stupid enough to put somebody that recieved her paycheck from an organisation that predicted our breakup come 2015, an organisation that is abhorred throught south america and far east, an organisation with a very bitter history with west Africa as our Finance minister. Ok lets look on.

Nosyke: @Op, First of all I must commend you courage at this age, keep it up.
My advise to you is that whatever you do:
a. Dont drop education. Going to school is beyond acquiring certificates, it teaches you how to manage people (you relate with different kinds of students), how to meet deadlines and cope under pressure( the crazy asignments, term papers with ridiculous deadlines), how to multitask( writing different exam papers on the same day which you must prepare for), never quit attitude (you must definitely pass all your courses before you graduate). These skills are later on on applied in life and of course will be needed in your business. Like my dad will always say, even if you want to sell pepper, go to school,the way you sell you pepper will be different from the way a person that didnt go will sell. Like someone mentioned, you can do some less time consuming business in school to horn your business skills

b. Do not take a loanNomatter how sure you are of business, things might just go wrong,if this happens, what will be your (and your siblings') fate. I just cant imagine a kid of 17 with no place to stay (and maybe no eductaion). To get a loan from a bank is relatively easy (assuming you even had reached the age) but the same banker that smuiled to you will be the same person that will come to evict you from you property.

In any case, search yourself and pray to God for guidiance.

king solomon no go school o,so many people didnt get degrees to become rich o,all it takes is Gods favor n guidance,if i were in yr shoes,i would stick to business,people go to school to a get a degree so as to make money,so if u r making it already why go waste your mney on paper degrees,where there is no assurance,millions of people have degrees without nothing to show for it but a piece of paper,so fashi school and be prudent when doing business

ChiefS: IT IS NOT TRUE.This is probably an exaggeration.The truth is that there is a dearth of PhD holders.Anybody with a PhD and knows what he is doing will definitely get a job in the academia or research institutes.
There are so many new federal and state universities in need of PhD holders.What about Private universities?Except the person is not ready to leave Lagos to other parts of the country.
