The shia (Iran) and sunni (saudi arabia) comflict can never end. They are on each others throat in Iraq, see details below for more testimony on the 'religion of peace'.

Saudi Arabia has sent 30,000 soldiers to
its border with Iraq after Iraqi soldiers
withdrew from the area, Saudi-owned al-
Arabiya television said on Thursday. The country aim to guard its 800km
border with Iraq, where Islamic State
fighters and other Sunni Muslim rebel
groups seized towns and cities in a
lightning advance last month. King Abdullah has ordered all necessary
measures to protect the kingdom against
potential "terrorist threats", state news
agency SPA reported on Thursday. The Dubai-based al-Arabiya said on its
website that Saudi troops fanned into the
border region after Iraqi government
forces abandoned positions, leaving the
Saudi frontier unprotected, the Reuters
news agency reported. . The satellite channel said it had obtained
a video showing some 2,500 Iraqi soldiers
in the desert area east of the Iraqi city of
Karbala after pulling back from the
border. An officer in the video aired by al-Arabiya
said that the soldiers had been ordered to
quit their posts without justification. The authenticity of the recording could
not immediately be verified. Iranian aid Iraq is in the midst of a conflict with
Sunni fighters in the north and west of
the country, and has launched an
offensive in Tikrit to recapture territory it
lost during a rebel advance in June. Thousands of soldiers, beacked by tanks,
artillery and aerial cover, have made
limited progress in retaking the city, the
AFP news agency reported. The Iraqi government has asked allies for
help in tackling the rebellion, but has
received a limited response from the US. Washington has sent 300 military
advisers to Baghdad, falling short of Iraqi
prime minister Nouri al-Maliki's request
for weapons, including to speed up
delivery of F-16 jets due for delivery later
this year. The Iraqis have instead turned to Russia
and reportedly, Iran. Russia sold Iraq a dozen Sukhoi-25 jets. The London-based International Institute
for Strategic Studies has said three
Sukhoi jets shown landing in Iraq in a
video released by the defence ministry
were probably from Iran. Tehran has pledged to aid Iraq against
the rebels, who are motivated, in part, by
Iran's alleged influence on the Iraqi
government.

It quite shocking that most muslims are complaing, because in most muslims countries (saudi arabia, afghanistan,Iran etc), other religions are also banned and conversion is punishable by death.

I wish the US and the UK takes similar step to curtail this Islamic intolerance, extremism, killings, bombings, all in the name of allah and his peadophile prophet.

Can you see the fascist orientation your allah is giving the followers of mohammed, to have a firm of hearth against anyone that doesnt believe in mohammed and be compassionate to themselves? Compare it with Jesus' own word in matthew 5:44, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you.

Can you see the difference? Mohammed is a self acclaimed fake and fascist prophet who crave respect and recognition and allah is not a true God.

Quran 48:29, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the disbelievers, compassionate among themselves. Thou seest them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking Allah’s grace and pleasure. Their marks are on their faces in consequence of prostration. That is their description in the Torah — and their description in the Gospel — like seed- produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the disbelievers on account of them. Allah has promised such of them as believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.

According to some confused Islamic 'scholars', mohammed is the Holy Spirit. While to some, it is a man among the brethren of moses. To some 'scholars', it is 'that prophet' one of the discples talked about. In a nutshell, they are bunch of confusionist.

@ vexdacool, riliwanu & co, below is an excerp on hw the 'religion of peace' is making the whole world peaceful:

Armed group ISIL changes name to
Islamic State, and says its empire extends from Diyala in Iraq to Syria's Aleppo. A Sunni armed group which controls large areas of Iraq and Syria has announced the
establishment of a "caliphate" straddling
the two countries, urging other groups to
pledge allegiance. In an audio recording released on Sunday,
the group formerly known as the Islamic
State of Iraq and the Levant declared its
chief, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, "the caliph"
and "leader for Muslims everywhere". "The legality of all emirates, groups,
states and organisations becomes null by
the expansion of the caliph's authority
and the arrival of its troops to their
areas," said the group's spokesman Abu
Mohamed al-Adnani. "Listen to your caliph and obey him. Support your state,
which grows every day.'' The group announced that it was now
called the "Islamic State". According to
the statement, the new caliphate
stretches from Iraq's Diyala province to
Syria's Aleppo. "The Shura [council] of the Islamic State
met and discussed this issue [of the
caliphate] ... the Islamic State decided to
establish an Islamic caliphate and to
designate a caliph for the state of the
Muslims, said Adani. "The words 'Iraq' and 'the Levant' have
been removed from the name of the
Islamic State in official papers and
documents." An official document was also released, in English and several other languages. It describes Baghdadi as "the sheikh, the
fighter, the scholar who practices what he
preaches, the worshipper, the leader, the
warrior, the reviver, descendant from the
family of the Prophet, the slave of God". It urges Muslims to "gather around your
caliph, so that you may return as you once
were for ages, kings of the earth and
knights of war." The announcement might cause problems
with other Sunni fighters in Iraq, who are
fighting the central government of Nouri
al-Maliki and not for the caliphate, our
correspondent said. The group's announcement came as Iraq's
army pressed its offensive to recapture
the northern city of Tikrit. Troops backed by helicopter gunships
began an assault on the city on Saturday,
while tanks and helicopters were sent to
areas around Tikrit university on Sunday,
security sources said.

My simple question to you, what is the present contribution of Islam to man except bloodshed, oppresion and anarchy? Mention any muslim nation that is technological advanced? Mention any muslim nation that people like to migrate and raise a family?

Islam is the problem of this world right now, and their inordinate ambition of global conquest will fail the way fascism and nazism failed. Civilized world can never give room to backward Islam.

The parable of the Frog and the Scorpion:

A frog was
hopping along in the forest,
heading home to her family, when all of
a sudden she came upon a small river.
Now, the frog, being a great swimmer as
frogs are, was about to leap into the river in order to cross it - when she heard a
voice: "Is there any chance, kind lady,
that you
can help me across this river? For I cannot
swim." The frog turned toward the
direction of the voice, and was startled to see a
scorpion moving toward her on the river
bank. Now, everyone knows the history
of scorpions - they sting and have a
deadly poison. So the frog was
understandably a bit frightened, and trembled as she asked the scorpion: "If I
help you across the river, will you
promise not to sting me? You see, I am on
the way home to my family and they
would miss me terribly." The scorpion
answered: "Kind lady, I understand your concern, but
I too am on the way home to my family,
and if I sting you, we would both drown,
and who wants that? Besides, contrary to
what you may have heard, I only sting
for self defense - like if a fox should try to eat me. Please do me this great favor - I
would be so grateful!" The frog
considered the scorpion's words,
which didn't seem like the words of a
killer. She thought to herself: "I mean no
harm to the scorpion, why should he sting me? If he stings me, we will both drown,
and he must value life as much as I. If I
help him, he will be my friend - because
he knows that I am a nice frog. As my
friend, the scorpion would surely tell all
the other scorpions that I am a friend, and that they too should never sting me!
And they wouldn't sting my frog family
or my frog friends either! And we frogs
would be more than happy to help all
scorpions cross the rivers! And maybe all
the scorpions would help protect all the frogs and other small creatures from the
truly dangerous creatures of the forest!"
By this time, the frog was so excited
about helping the scorpion that she didn't
want to even start thinking of reasons
not to help. Besides the danger was too scary to think about - compared to the
wonderful future that awaits the frogs
and other small creatures of the forest
with this new era of cooperation. "It will
truly be a paradise.", she thought. So the
frog crouched down and let the scorpion jump onto her back. She then hopped into
the river with the scorpion on her back
and began swimming - and she swam
beautifully, as frogs do. But when they
got to the middle of the river she felt
something painful in her side. "Ouch!" said the frog, "What was that " "I just
stung you.", said the scorpion. The frog
began to feel the poison take
effect. It became harder for her to move,
harder to swim. She thought about the
paradise of universalistic brotherhood that could have been, and she cried out to
the scorpion: "Why did you do that?! Now
we will both
drown - we could have been friends!
Perhaps you can save yourself; swim to
the other side!" But it was too late, and scorpions can't
swim. As they began to sink, the scorpion
answered: "I am not like you; we don't
care about
dying or making friends. We lie and sting.
It is our nature, didn't you know that?" The frog and the scorpion sank fast to the
bottom of the river, and the frog thought
about the scorpion's question. "Yes.",
thought the frog, still puzzled that
frogs and scorpions should think and act
differently, after all, they are both small creatures of the forest. "Maybe I said or
did something to anger him...?!", thought
the frog. THE END!
In case you don't "get it" here are the
parallels of this parable to Islam and the
rest of us: Scorpions can't swim - it needs to rely on
other creatures; Islam has not succeeded
and cannont succeed without using
others.
The scorpion sought a decptive alliance
with the frog; Islam seeks deceptive alliances with the "infidel." The scorpion
cannot help but lie; Islam
teaches "taqiyya" - lieing to defend or
promote Islam.
The scorpion doesn't care about death;
Islam teaches that death is better than life - it is the nature of it. The frog is
puzzled because he assumed
that both he and the scorpion were alike
- both "small creatures"; Those of non-
Islamic "faith" are puzzled because they
assume they are just like Muslims because Islam is a religion just like theirs.
The Islamist Prime Minister of Turkey
Recep Erdogan is quoted as proclaiming:
"There is no moderate Islam. Islam is
Islam and that’s that. Democracy is like a
bus - you ride it until you arrive at your destination, then you step off.
Assimilation is

Before many will start calling me names, we should all read the history of Islamic caliphate, Ilorin emirate and kanem bornu (all in northern nigeria). The Indo-pakistan history, the mali tuareg history and metarmophisis of modern egypt-sudan. Read mohammed history and chronicles in mecca and then medina (and make your logical conclusions). Read the history and spread of Islam in france and spain and austria and it consequnce.

And above all, compare it with our contemporary boko haram issue, the british 'trojan horse' and the effect\problems of muslim immigrants in western europe.

And as an Igbo guy from the south eastern nigeria (who are currently 'immune' to Islamic brainwashing and ideology), a lesson to learn from these past and painful experinces and how we can continually guard ourselves of this present danger (the 'innocent' scorpion calling our friendship\assistance\co-operation).

usba: It seems u only have one source news, the lady in question has long been acquitted by a higher court! Peter practised tarqiyyah when he pretended not to be a christian by denying that he is not a follower of jesus, so what is ur cry about? Nothing! Clearly tarqiyyah is part and parcel of christianity! Peter whom the catholic refer to the first pope practised tarqiyyah to save his neck! Countless christian following Peter's foot step practiced tarqiyyah to save their neck! Let's apply the op's logic to Peter, Peter being an "average" christian applied tarqiyyah because he had doubts in the after life that Jesus preached about! Hope u get the pt! It is pathetic making vacuous statements just feel happy that somehow ur religion founded on an unjust murder would lead u to heaven!
Kindly explain how Peter praticed taqiyya and I will give you varios hadiths where taqiyya (holy lies) is sanctioned in Islam. Fya I am not a catholic, I follow the teachings of Jesus and I believe mohammed in your role model as well.

Islam › Re: Stop reading Arabic Quran If You Do Not Understand It's Meaning by true2god: 8:48pm On Jun 28, 2014
Slitz: Reading the Quran without understanding it is also beneficial to the believer. based on the hadith dat states that the messenger of Allah said for every letter read in d Quran der is a reward for it and he emphasised LETTER meaning alif is a letter lam is a letter and mim is a letter. despite the fact dat no one but Allah knows the wisdom behind these letters der is still reward for it. however for one to be able to ponder on the message of the Quran and get double reward i.e for recitation and implementation it is essential dat one learns Arabic or reads the translated form. so the OP should rather encourage learning Arabic, pondering on the translated copy and not downgrading the recitation of the Quran.
Are you serious at all? Reading the quran without understanding is beneficial, why? Any religion that does not make its text simple to understand to the man on the street must be hiding something.

Have you wondered why muslim apologist had been condemning the radicals saying 'they do not understand the quran properly' or 'they are not true muslims'?

For two months now global news had focused on the death sentence handed over a sudanese woman for her leaving Islam for christianity. As we all know, the penalty for apostasy is most Islamic countries (Sudan, saudi arabia, Afghanistan, pakistan etc) is death. However what made the entire news interesting was that the lady in question refused to denounce christianity, rather chosing death over Islam.

Relating this incidence with the Islamic tradition of concealing\hiding faith (al-taqiyya) in the face of death, one would have expected this lady to at least renounce faith (or pretend have renounce her faith) to stay alive, but she refused. This act demonstrated the experience the first century christians had, in the face of persecution and death, and still hold on to faith. While many christian, even today, would rather die for their faith, an average muslim would rather apply the concept of taqiyya to stay alive (especially shia muslims living among the sunni muslims or vice-versa), if put in a similar position.

Is it that most muslims have no confidence in the after-life as promised by the quran, or is it that suicide bombing is more honorable (over 95% of current suicide bombing is traceable to islam) than losing life alone. I need more enlightenment.

eluquenson: Any igbo NL defending this woman on mere tribal sentiments is a looser. We must get this country to work. It can't work in the hands of questionable characters huh
Thats to show that most yorubas are of quetionable character. Your god, Bola Tinubu, was accused of certificate forgery and was taken to court by late chief Gani Fawehinmi. Most yorubas accused Gani of fighting their son, now odua has been accused (not found guilty yet) and most yorubas are shouting 'ole ole'.

I wonder how yoruba DNA is wired!

Ngwakwe: I appreciate your doggedness in backing your comments with references from the media.

However, if you dissect the tune and style of the publication you quoted, it's obvious the reporter has been highly compromised and has taken the burden to understudy, investigate and pass judgement using gossips which is against the ethics of journalism.
I think this guy deserves the role of a moderator on nairaland.
...But ibos people worship traditional religion before Christianity brainwashed them now that Islam want to take over u're now crying like baby..! To all weedibos pls stop crying* grin grin grin cool
It is more acceptable to be 'brainwashed' by christianity than Islam. At least christianity gives room for logical reasoning, technological advancement, freedom of conscience, enterprise and innovation while Islam takes one back to muhammedan era of conservativism, Jihadism with no room for technological advancement or change at all.
