Carlosdd:Is that the only interpretation that was able to squeeze through your thick marble skull? |
Poor reporting Your best research was opening Wikipedia to recant what ia already public knowledge. Then you had to literally lick Tinubu’s brown ass and carry his wife’s bag? Then as if english was a bowl of hot coals, you had to drop completely into pidgin at the tail end ? For fanboyism, i would score you 6/10. For journalism, 1/10. Redo. |
Righteousness2:I see the battalion of demons who pushed you to make this post. Their leader is half demon, half pepsi and he resides inside chickens in chicken republic. You have to be prayerful brethren |
Preshieben:I respect your confidence. You know what you want and you are ready to go for it. You are also beautiful with a body that would remain graceful for a very long time. You are my kind of woman. I hope you get a good man who would appreciate you and not one of these freeloaders with high ego and low intelligence that are rampant on Nairaland. I wish you the best dear. |
jeff1993:And you think you would be able to visit USA again? Life visa ban. To make matters worse, your name would appear in google search with the following tag ‘… with family links to the founder of boko haram’ And as if your problem is not big enough, loyalists to shekau would hold you under their magnifying lens for ever. You cannot be a kaffir. You must be a devout terrorist or you can be murdered while sleeping beside your beautiful wife one day. Her father chose her life for her. If you really need a long term pussy, look out of your window and call the next random girl. Your chances there are much better. |
Nice to see this thread. I have been building projects with sveltekit for some time now and it has been amazing. Sveltekit plus tailwind makes coding flow directly from my brain to the IDE. As i am thinking it, so i am writing it. I hope more people would adopt svelte gping forward |
Oplomo:Nah. This, that you are doing is not politics. It is the sign of a myopic mind who could not initially comprehend my post and went on a tribal rant. You need some growing up to do and i dont mean age of numbers. |
Oplomo:Since you are a tribal bigot with a comprehensive reasoning the size of a cockroach’s thought, i would teach you the decorum you failed to learn from home. First, every region is important in a federal structure like Nigeria. If your family has structure , this would not be strange to you. Secondly, there are some of us who dont care about which orangutan seeded you. Some of us want to relate with other people based on common sense and logic. It is fortunate however that some dolts like you see others only through tribal lenses. Even if you luckily travel out of this country, you still are stuck with the reasoning of a territorial fowl. Finally, my Support for Peter Obi is because he currently is the only candidate that i have hope on that can change this country. I care less about his tribe as that factor is inconsequential in a new Nigeria. One day, idiots like you will wither off and we hope the next generation coming would have less pests like you. |
Oplomo:While it is true he had a lot of votes from the SE in 2019, it was because of Peter Obi and not because of Atiku. Atiku has lost this election already. If he picks Okowa, he cannot get massive southern votes with that choice. If he picks Wike, he would gain more votes than an Okowa choice but he would lose a lot of northern votes. Minus one, plus one. Who will he pick in the SE that can counter the Peter Obi wave? Except he picks Nnamdi Kanu, no other Igbo brother can move crowds currently like Obi Atiku has retired. He just doesn’t know yet. |
Danniedpastor:Very possible. Some smart governors are rooting for Wike because he can fund an election with state money. Despite the clamour that Atiku is rich, his wealth is limited if not supported by funds from other sources. |
madridguy:Jihadists and terrorists want to pass their messages across, using fear and intimidation. They use the quran too as an authority. You need a quranic verse to boost your personal confidence level before you can tell a girl you like her; i.e. pass your message across. Both you and the terrorists need the quran to pass your message across. Do you still need clarifications? |
JB4life:Comprehension is one of your issues. Go back and read slowly. |
Chienex24:There are a lot of brilliant Igbo potential leaders that could have been presented. The selfishness of the political class and the fear of rebuke by townsmen made these people not stand up. See Soludo as an example of what the Igbo can do to brilliant minds. Despite Soludo becoming a governor, his main problem has been factional igbos who want to destroy the state at all costs. This behavior conflicts with sanity and human logic. Someone like Ngozi Okonjo Iweala would have been a great presidential candidate from the south east but will the igbos be united on this? If she tries yo contest, immediately, obstacles from her own people would start showing up. Even if Peter Obi becomes the president today, would Simon Ekpa and his lunatic zombies not cause him more problems as they are doing to soludo? For the igbos to leave this cesspit, a complete paradigm shift needs to happen. |
Emilo:You are simply confirming the OP’s post. Igbos had their chance to fledge a unitary candidate in either of the main parties. They couldn’t. Even Peter Obi is being championed mainly by progressives not based in the south east. And what are the SE labour party members doing? Trying to challenge his candidacy. How can you claim to be marginalized when you are not even united? Speak with a common voice first, then if that voice is being hushed, then you are being marginalized |
Reflect7:Very apt. |
Good choice. Wike would be a real problem for Peter Obi. For Peter to pull large swathes in the south, the other candidates must make strategic mistakes. Tinubu will make his own mistake in the next 24 hours by selecting a muslim Vice President from the north. Atiku must make the same mistake by selecting someone who cannot contribute at least 5m votes (Okowa for example). A wike VP gives more advantage to the Atiku camp |
madridguy:You can lie o. If Quran can make love sweet, why are jihadists now killing people? Why not cast the spell on everyone once and for all? You only lack self confidence and that your purported verse gives you a false sense of confidence to approach the lady/guy/goat or whatever your fancy catches. Enjoy ![]() |
The Emi Lokan of Bourdillon is definitely on the edge of Parkinsons coastal beach. Only selfish people are supporting him. I am not surprised that the vulture griller who pitched his cadaverous tent with incompetent Buhari is also rooting for this senile aspirant. You have to be of a certain rottenness to support Tinubu |
EmperorHadrain:Your theory is that everything would be really bad for Africa. So bad that everyone in africa is doomed because there is an exchange of nuclear bombs between USA and say Russia. Yet these countries that would be directly hitting each other would still be better off than Nigeria that is not even shooting. How can all your doom affect only Africa so catastrophically whilst the warring nations would somehow still be safer? My position is that Africa would be relatively safer. You are positing that there would be a damning fallout. Wont this same fallout affect other countries even more than Africa? Anything that would be a common denominator should be excluded in these analysis or it would be chasing our tails |
EmperorHadrain:You are completely wrong again. After a nuclear fallout, agriculture would come back almost immediately. The solution is simply to remove 15 inches of the top soil and plant on the newly exposed soil. This was done successfully in Japan after the bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and people live there till tomorrow, planting and eating. This procedure has been researched and properly documented and you can do some google searches for more clarity. Agriculture would resume soon after the fallout but before then, we would eat anything edible to survive. As regards your theory of a country storing enough food for their populace, can you mention one country that has enough food to feed all its citizens for decades? Ordinary Covid-19 and we saw malls going empty in hours worldwide. There is no grain repository anywhere in the world that can feed any country for decades. If you have, please share |
EmperorHadrain:I sincerely doubt this analysis. First, you keep hammering on we being dependent on western aid. Yes for dollars and mosquito nets but never for cassava or staples. Yes we would go hungry and die from basic ailments but the bulk of African feeding still comes from Africa. Hunger will reduce our population drastically but a lot of people would still be fed. The average African is closer to the soil than the european. He who is down needs fear no fall. And you forget that nobody would be sending nuclear bomb mails to us. Would you prefer to be in central London during a nuclear war or in downtown Bariga? If the only issue you have with Africa is hunger, then hunger can be solved. The last world war is a good reference. It was during this war that African grandparents who knew about commodities exchange made money from trading palm oil and cocoa used for the soldier’s’ chocolate rations. Africa would be a supply zone for resources and cheap labour. They might recolonise us after everything but they will definitely not kill the labour force. |
EmperorHadrain:Yes. Worldwide. Not isolated to Africa and not a delimiter for Africa in the apocalyptic global landscape. |
EmperorHadrain:Does these affect only Africa or affects other regions too? If it affects other regions, then it can be discounted. |
EmperorHadrain:You are wrong about the fires. A cooler climate does not imply a drier climate. You would only have foliage drying out if humidity reduces, not the temperature. No matter the way you extrapolate, Africa would remain the eden of the world in a nuclear world |
EmperorHadrain:There is a saying, the person being chased by a masquerade should not relent; as mortals get tired, so do the spirits. The harsher the nuclear winter, the harsher it would be anywhere but the tropics. The regions closer to the equator would always be closer to the sun and would always be the warmest. Africans in Africa would survive better than any other group. When people are literally freezing to death in other climes, Africans would still be scuttling about like cold rats because they would be in the warmest parts of the world. Cold weather clothing is easy to harness. Combine ten shirts, an old suit plus hot water drinks while you burn your sitting room sofa and you are good to go. Don’t forget we also live in concrete buildings and stand a chance of survival from that in the event of a direct blast, which is very unlikely. No one would bomb Nigeria directly with a nuclear bomb. There is no strategic reasons and most of the bombings would happen in the first 48 hours. |
EmperorHadrain:I would respond to all observations you raised together. I handled survival in Africa already by humans resorting to hunting, scavenging or outright cannibalism. Humans will survive and it is well documented how resilient homo sapiens can be in feeding of the remnants if really pushed. Yes there would be scarcity of fuel but there would be fuel. We have crude oil and we currently have illegal refineries that can extract diesel. In an apocalypse, there would be diesel. It would be hard to get, but it would be an available resource, even in Nigeria. Dont also forget there would be a lot of abandoned cars with at least a gallon of fuel in them scattered all over the metropolis. Out generators would run and we have them aplenty here. Hand cranked manual water pumps would also be improvised. There would be water in many parts of Nigeria. Temperatures would plummet and Nigeria could get as cold as Canada but that’s an issue that warm clothing and burning of excess furniture can overcome. It would be better to live in the current tropics than in already cold environments. Lagos and other world metropolis would experience a power shift. There would be a new set of leadership and yes, it could be powered by thugs. And who says you would not be a thug at that point? The main power would be in the size of your gathering and the weapons you have plus the ability to feed yourselves. I know of an estate in lagos that many residents own shot guns and hold practice periodically. Some even own cross bows. In an apocalypse, thats an estate i would want to be in. Many such communities would spring up. CDAs would turn to mini governments. Isolating yourself in a remote part might sound nice but what do you do when people know you are alone and with some food? The hordes would come in to ravage. The best safety would be in numbers and even at that, mutiny is not ruled out and summary executions would be as normal as having a morning bath |
EmperorHadrain:I actually think Africa would be safe to be in. Whilst the halt in foreign trade would cancel largesse living here, our individualist nature of self sufficiency would assist. Almost each household in Lagos for example has their own independent bore hole as a water supply which is radiation free. Doesn’t exist anywhere else. Yes, there would be hunger from real food but what stops cannibalism in a free for all? There would be abundance of dead people for months. As regards ethnic fighting, this would be more focused on resource control than on your historical lineage. Residents in Lagos would for example fight to protect lagos than to protect a Yoruba lineage. Why should lagosians feed people from Ondo, despite being both Yorubas? True, there would be suspicions based on tribal affiliations and there would be a lot of summary executions, which provides more food. In the long run, protected communities would be formed as per resource control. Our main issue would be on the aftermath. When the dust has literally settled, destroyed world powers who still have military might would want to resettle their citizens in the safer parts of the world- the areas not directly hit by bombs and Africa would be a target. They have colonised us before. There is nothing stopping them from trying again, especially if their survival depends on it. This is when the real African kasala would burst. Don’t forget all survivors at that time would be cannibalistic, selfish brutes with no empathy. |
Righteousness2:The same way he defended the 9 million jews killed by Hitler during WW2 abi? Or you, a descendant of black pagans whose great grand parents were just one level above animals when Israel was allegedly chosen by your acclaimed God. Just because your pastor calls his enterprise ‘Chosen’ does not mean anything in these scheme of things. If the war should start, i can bet you that your pastor would be on the next flight to a safer country from where he would be streaming “protection service” to you, the gullible ones. Stop trying to fool others with the delusions of grandeur from a fable. Allow logical people speak here. Cheer’s |
Joezinho:What has this gotten to do with Judah and his army now? Small thing, na to quote passages from the Bible. If Trump goes to the toilet, i am sure you would have a verse for him too. |
