Nairaland deployed a kinda dark mode today April 1st, 2023. According to naptu2, this happened same date in 2012.

Personally, i like the concept. Choice of colors need some design updates. However, the feedback from the over 11 pages on the post at https://www.nairaland.com/7636536/which-kind-new-nl-font show that a majority of users dont like it.

This is a real shocker to me. I have always advocated for dark mode integration in my sites and apps.

Why dont Nairalanders want dark mode?

Realtime feedback on this issue shows that what the developers want can usually be at variance with what the real users want.

This clearly shows why user testing is important.

I'm selling a different variant of the E15 which i clearly stated that it's an i3 7th gen and it has a higher resolution. But your first picture, you're posting the screen resolution of an i5 7th gen which is totally different from what I'm selling are you that blind and stupid?

(2) The first and second Acer laptops you posted clearly are 4GB RAM and 500GB storage, but what I'm selling has 8GB RAM and has 1TB storage.... The first one if you zoom into it, someone who knows laptops would know it's clearly an Intel celeron, not even an i3 are you that daft?

(3) the last picture clearly says Intel celeron on it with 2GB ram and 500GB storage

And laptop I'm selling again, has Intel core i3 7th gen processor with 8GB of DDR4 ram, and 1TB of internal storage I swear you're one of the dumbest thing I've ever come across on this forum in your bid to try and make me look bad, you just dey disgrace your ancestors

Same laptop usually has different screen types and resolutions. Within the same model, This your own is a TN panel.

To identify a TN panel, check the color as it changes when viewing angle changes.

Attached also is a screenshot of the laptop specs page from gadgetsnow. You can see where i circled the base option’s display as 768px which is less than 1080p.

Why not share the real one on the laptop?

For 180k, you can be on the lookout for a Lenovo Thinkpad T480 with 8th gen core i5 and 1080p full HD screen. You can check jiji and negotiate.

For anyone interested in this particular laptop, seller is very desperate, try to price 75k and if he doesn’t agree, push to 80k.

Flexbox change my css knowledge. I was doing tailwind earlier this year. I discovered that all the thing have learnt and can use it to develop any website on tailwind, I can replicate everything using css. I'm gonna smoke css. I tried grid also. I don't like grid.i find flebox more easier than grid. Imagine writing 1 line of css to place 5 div elements side by side with flexbox but reverse is the case of grid.

You need grid too.

Flexbox discovery makes a noob’s life easier but you need still need grid when you want to have clear and predictable styles on complex UI.

Learn both. Learn how to combine. Learn when to ise which.
