It's not about what was mentioned first. Let's stay on topic. We are discussing here about the eternal destiny of man which is a very serious topic. If hell is indeed real and it can be proven beyond reasonable doubt that it is indeed real from the scripture, then everyone must take warning including you and find out what you think one must do to be saved.

The first quote says that the beast and the false prophet were thrown into the Lake of fire burning with brimstone. Notice, the description given to the lake of fire - burning with brimstone. So it confirms it's a literal fire. The verse interpretes itself. It does not need any further interpretation.

Now after Jesus defeated the devil and established his 1,000 reign on earth, Satan was losed for a season. And he gathered great armies against the people of God. Fire came and destroyed that army. And Satan was eventually thrown into the Lake of fire that the false prophets and the beast were thrown in over 1,000 years ago. This is what Revelation 20:10 says.

What can we deduce from these two verses.

1. That the Lake of fire is literal according to the scripture.
2. That those thrown in remain there for eternity. At least, the beast and the false prophet were acknowledged to still be there when Satan was thrown in.
3. This confirms the earlier teaching of our Lord Jesus when he said that sinners will be thrown into a furnace of fire repeatedly. He also added that the worms there do not die and the souls will not have rest night and day.
4. The torment will be for ever as stated in Revelation 20:10.

So, it's up to you to deny clear truth and established your preconceived opinion over the word of God. You will not go unpunished.

Deut 22:5 was not written to the church. It was written to the Jews who were under the Law of Moses. And the Law has been abolished so why border Christians with an obsolete Law?

You're dwelling on what is mentioned but neglecting the fact that it has "spiritual meanings". Yes! Revelations 20:15 and verse 14 already explains what LAKE OF FIRE means, it's simply the second Death. Note that Death and He'll were also cast into the same place, meaning there won't be death nor Hell(Grave) anymore and those whose names were not written in the book of life were cast into the same place! You need to first understand what is the first death before you can grasp what the second means! The first death is that which Adam brought on all of us whether good or bad we are all dying, the second Death is all that has to do with whatever God doesn't include in HIS arrangement from the beginning :death, grave, evildoers.

I never said every topic in the Bible is about the death burial and resurretion of Christ. What I did say is that the gospel of salvation is centered on Christ.

When the early church went from city to cities, their message of salvation was centered on Christ. I will quote a few verses of the scriptures to buttress my point.

Besides, you can't separate the Father from the Son. Jesus is the express image of God. He is the one who sent Jesus to die for us. And he wants us to believe in Jesus. The only message to the unsaved soul is Jesus.

Jesus is the central message in the preaching of the gospel. The gospel is simply the good news that Jesus died for our sins and rose again on the third day. Anyone who believes this message and confess the Lordship of Christ will be saved.
