The commercial drivers should go on one week strike. I also suspect some of the drivers are working for the kidnappers because in some cases, you will hear that the driver escaped. All soldiers on road blocks every 100m in the south should be redeployed to the north. That is where they are needed. |
overdrive:He knows the difference between kidnappers putting on army uniforms and military aiding them. Have you forgotten the Wadume's case. |
Most Nigerians will sell their votes because of poverty and foolishness. This is where the problem lies. In addition, rigging will alter results in most centers under the control of APC and PDP. And labour party may not have enough agents to monitor what is happening in all centers. |
I didn't know when I started laughing when I read that the consensus candidate is someone who will sustain the good work he has done. Which good work? Let's begin to list them. 1. Inability to fight Boko Haram? 2. Our gallant soldiers dying daily to the hands of terrorists? 3. Our naira value depreciating daily? 4. Kidnapping going on daily unchecked? 5. Herdsmen making life miserable for farmers and Christian communities? 6. Looting going on unchecked by those in his cabinets. 7. People commitng suicide in a rate that is unheard of before? 8. Bandits operating with Gumi as their friends and yet he is not arrested? 9. Is it the refineries that he is unable to fix? 10. Prices of food items that is all time high? 11. Our universities that is not properly funded? 12. Our youths that have no hope for the future because of high rate of unemployment? I could go on and on. So many good works indeed. I hail the cabals for their good works indeed. |
Delegates will just be collecting money from left and right giving them false hopes. Meanwhile, they know who they truly support. |
realstars:They all have questionable characters. |
If Tinubu is not his choice, the party will split. Mark my word. And it amounts to betrayal of trust. |
The business is expanding. With the 100 million, they will by more guns, recruit more people and kidnap more. And it continues until God knows when. |
jmoore:They don't need to attack them. They share the money together. This is the bitter truth. |
I have been following the news of the screening going on in APC towards their presidential primaries. I was shocked to see that just about three of them are from the north. The rest are from the south. If some of the southern presidential aspirants do not step down, their votes will be shared and a northern aspirant might emerge the winner. And the implication is that the power remains in the north. Is this deliberate? I just read they still want to screen Goodluck Jonathan. Southern presidential aspirants should please come together and choose one person. Otherwise, they might all be losers. And Ahmed Lawan might just be the surprising winner. What is your take? |
With too many aspirants from the south, Ahmed Lawan might surprisingly win. So, I expect cooperation like it happened in the PDP primary. |
Your husband brother bringing his girlfriend to stay in that home is unwise. He wants to have girlfriend and he can't afford to rent his own apartment. The whole arrangement is wrong. The girlfriend too has no shame. Two homeless lovers. |
justicechichex:And this is what they should do no matter the cost. |
Grgton:Maybe they have received their own share. Money can make a man change his mind. This is Nigeria. |
PaChukwudi44:Then be ready for more banditory. And don't think about paying ransom. Sheik Gumi is one of Atiku's best friend. |
PDP and APC are both birds of the same feathers. The only difference is in their names. The blood of corruption and deception runs in the veins of both parties. The children they give birth to have the same blood running in them. We need a new party with men of proven character and integrity. Followers also need a change of mentality. They should do what is right by voting their conscience instead of selling their votes to people who will later oppress and mistreat them. We should be wiser now and stop the vicious circle of selling our birthrights for a plate of food only to discover that we are poorer than when we first started. |
This is a vicious circle. They get the money, buy more guns, kidnap more people and the ransom demand continues. |
DoggoneDogg:I believe you are just kidding. South South ticket is impossible. |
I hope they will not put pressure on the Governor to revert the ban as those affected are mostly abokis. And they are the majority in the security outfits. |
KingsJohnson:Off course, I am in. I will certainly reach him when he sets up his structure. |
Ameachi should please hide his head in shame. He is part of the problem in Rivers state. He squandered the state money for projects that he could not complete like the mono rail project which took billions of Naira. What did he do to better the lives of Rivers state indigenes? No big industry set up. He only tried in the area of health and education. Wike is not any better. His only vision is flyover constructions. The youths need jobs. The market women need empowerments. Instead of empowering the market woman, they chase them and extort them with thugs. There is enough money in the state to empower people. But they will loot and move the monies abroad and get a court injunction that they should not be investigated. |
Kazeem47:But they are already doing it. Only a section of the country is permitted to have fire arms. And they even aid the supply. Where does Boko Haram get their arms from? They will never discover it because they are being backed up by the same people who are supposed to protect us. How many herdsmen carrying guns have they ever arrested and paraded? None? They are free to enter farms and shoot farmers. At the end, they call it herdsmen and farmers clashing. Who are they deceiving? What about the bandits? Where do they get their arms from. DSS can't discover it with all their training. But they can quickly discover where ESN get theirs. What a country. We are still sleeping in this part of Nigeria. Let's wake up and see the realities that surrounds us. |
duro4chang:Don't mind him. He wants to eat the crumbs from the master's table. |
Dialpad:He can if he mobilize intelligent and responsible youths. We need an intelligent and well educated man for president. A man with a good track record. If he consults me, I will give him winning ideas. |
PDP has lost huge votes from the south and middle belt. One man's ambition has ruined the whole party. |
All these is grammar. If they frustrate him, APC will disintegrate. They should remember he was the major stakeholder in the merger that brought in the party. |
I see election not holding and a military coup. |
EmptyGarden:Borrowing to loot is the right phrase. He is not alone in it. If the executive is investigated on all monies borrowed so far, they certainly can't give account of them. |
2023 elections might not hold because of security challenges and inside information of those trying to truncate the process because of hidden agenda. Pray for Nigeria. Meanwhile, Jonathan should have distance himself from this game before now. |
This is the time for every region especially in the south and middle belt to strengthen its local vigilantee group. The evil agenda of these wicked people against the people of the south is on going but we are sleeping. They have carefully silenced Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu is on trial for attempting to stop the invasion of these terrorist. The state government however should not sleep because when it happens, they will be the first victim. |
Sheuns:But he gave it a consideration from the very statement from his lips. It's not about his interest. They are using it for a bargain. If he agrees, all charges against him will be dropped. Besides, he is easier to manipulate by the APC cabals. Even when he was the president, he was manipulated. This was why he couldn't bring visible developments to Niger Delta, even his home town. |
Mickykarim:Then start one that is useful. Are you happy with the level of corruption in Nigeria? Or you feel it is normal to be corrupt? Instead of condemning the guilty, you are attacking the group that is speaking against these corrupt people in this country. |
