@LeoMax, I was in Nigeria during the last presidential election. I'm a political activist and I identify with individuals that shares my view on how our society should be, not any political party. Hence, I supported Buhari, why, simply cos of his HONESTY. He might not have a sound agenda,DEVELOPMENT WISE,but, @ this stage, Nigerian needs an HONEST leader that will CURB WASTE. A leader that will not LOOT,as Jonathan & co are doing now. CORRUPTION must be brought to its KNEES for any meaningful development to take place in Nigeria. The answer is not in SUBSIDY removal. I can tell that you're still a single guy, when you get married & have kids, your TUNE will change.

Back then, I could not believe how much Nigerians wanted Jonathan to rule them, ( SHORT SIGHTEDNESS). I lost a lot of friends cos I refused to get involve with all the programmes they initiated to support Jonathan, I asked them, WHAT IS JONATHAN'S PEDIGREE & REPUTATION, nobody could give me a SENSIBLE answer, everything was centerd around " he's our fellow southerner" & all worth not, in this 21st century, people could not look beyond ethnicity & religion? I shudder.

Now ,what do they have against Buhari, cos he is a northerner and a religious extremeist. I will rather have an HONEST EXTREMEIST, than a moderate christain ROGUE ( Jonathan ).

Less than one year after the election, the chicken have come home to roost. Nigerians are REGRETTING, regretting & regretting and they are yet to REGRET. I'm not sure any Nigerian president have been insulted & bashed like this DULL FOOL.

@Beaf, THNX for replying on the SUBJECT,without their usual name calling & insults. For now, he is the president, if the constitution is bad, he should work harder to AMEND it. Before then, they all should stop taking undue ADVANTAGE of the constitution.

@LeoMax I don't have to live in Nigeria to discuss Nigeria. However, we're not here to measure wealth. My family's house is in Northern Forshore, and I live in States, I am who I am, and I love the life I'm living. You are in Nigeria & only you knows if you are SUFFERING & SMILING or not. Or if you are one of the ELEGUSHI's, idc. I dnt pay your bills & you don't pay mine. We discuss Nigeria objectively, devoid of sentiments & name calling, that's it.

@LeoMax, in this 21 century, I don't see how you all will be so EXCITED cos you had electricity to sleep twice in a week. It takes no time, IT TAKES A POLITICAL WILL. For instance, cutting his own waste & excesses. Have you looked into the BUDGET? Look into it, then if you can see what CONCERNERD NIGERIANS saw,you will know that they are all ROUGES. @LeoMax, Obasanjo, foot soldiers will  so DISAGREE with you, they will tell you that Obasanjo's ERA , was the GOLDEN era and that Yar'adua messed things up, and they have failed to see the FAILURE in Obasanjo himself, by appointing Yar'adua as president,simply becos of his GREED & SHORT SIGHTEDNESS. Jonathan will leave office & then we'll all take STOCK. He can promise whatever he wants for now.

@LeoMax, the awareness will come from people looking for where to DUMP their POWER GENERATING SETSand  Big time investors and manufacturers heading to the States you mentioned cos THEY NOW HAVE STABLE & RELIABLE POWER SUPPLY,anything short of this,hmmmmm.

Hero passenger who foiled 'Underwear Bomber' now suing airlines for $10MILLIONBy Reuters Reporter

A New York man is suing two airlines for $10 million for injuries he says he sustained in overpowering the so-called 'underwear bomber' to foil his plot on Christmas Day 2009.

Theophilus Maranga says in his lawsuit filed in federal court in Manhattan on Wednesday that he 'risked his life' by jumping on the would-be bomber, a Nigerian man who attempted to blow up a Detroit-bound flight with a bomb stashed in his underwear.

By that time, the clothes of the attempted bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, were in flames after he detonated the malfunctioning explosives in his underwear.

The lawsuit said Maranga lost a tooth in the act, which also left him with injured ribs, permanent numbness in his hands and a pain in his neck that hampers his movements.

In the court papers, Maranga accuses Delta Air Lines and Air France-KLM of negligence for 'allowing a bomber to board their aircraft with an explosive device.'
Maranga's attorney, Neil Grimaldi, called his client a 'hero' in an interview with Reuters on Thursday.

Maranga's work as an immigration attorney in Wappinger Falls, New York, has been hampered by the injuries, Grimaldi said.
Maranga is also getting treatment for 'numerous psychological injuries' resulting from his act, the lawsuit said.

Besides the two airlines, the lawsuit also names Abdulmutallab, who confessed to attempting to bomb the plane.

He is in prison awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in October to eight felonies, including conspiracy to commit an act of terrorism, attempted murder and attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction.

Abdulmutallab has said he wanted to blow up Northwest Flight 253, which had 290 people aboard as it approached Detroit from Amsterdam, to avenge the killing of innocent Muslims by the United States.

@ OP, The main GOVERNORS FORUM, which is are more powerful forum that supercedes any other Gov's forum. However, there are no Southern Gov's forum cos, there is SE Gov's forum, SS, Gov's forum & there's SW Gov's forum, that's to say every region advanced its on course.
