1. I'd blame Nollywood like seriously.. All the poor guys in nollywood movies only stay poor for a short while and upon making it owns a mansion with SUV's parked all over his compound and you think movies don't affect the way the average viewer thinks? - most dem girls be waiting on "Nollywood" husbands. 2. Religion and "neighbours will say" syndrome: A society where the mentality is that a young lady's going to a club is sin and only for the "ashawos" or staying with a guy you're not married to will give her bad name from neighbours she obviously has no ties with or where the only place she goes to apart from her workplace is Church will always cut avenues for meeting that special man.. 3. More 9ja women believe marriage ends in the kitchen so instead of engaging themselves, are waiting on the rich dude to come pick them up forgetting that men these days seek co-facilitators and not parasites. 4. Many ladies fail to build friendship from young age forgetting that the same poor guy in the uni is that future CEO..I have always siad if I'm a lady, I would date a sharp and intelligent boy not minding his social status and make sure that's my jurisdiction - men don't just dump long term relationships, go ask tu-face. U-N-I-T-Y is what we all are preaching, weather BH is being sponsored or not, the center of our ranting is unity for development and sustainability. I even watched a popular prophet say this on t.v. Many a times I visit blogs, read comments on facebook fan pages and on forums like this and only shake my head at the religious and tribalistic bigotry the ones that claim to be educated and exposed spew on sensitive topics. i feel o'brien is being targeted because he has always been outright and very much outspoken about the church's teachings on abortion,euthanasia(ending ones life to relieve pain being suffered) and homosexuality. The three priests who accused him are anonymous and their stories that dates back to the 80's when o'brien was still only a seminarian or a new priest, holds no water-at least from what one reads in the news. |

It's obvious many Nigerians like to continue suffering..Only you complain about the pdp led government, only you don't want a merger capable of putting them out of power..how ironic? The truth is that many of you voted for GEJ cos you thought he will represent well giving excuses like "we are voting for the individual and not the pdp", oh well it has turned out that the individual cannot really deliver. Do you now think that if for example oshomole gets there, he would not perform? Do you think under a oshomole or buhari or fashola or rochas or akunyili or marwa(I can continue)rule, someone can steal billions and go scott free? When the head is well, the body will be well also and the opposite is what this GEJ led govt is delivering. |

Reason; A Nigerian girl (a good percentage) is busy hunting a super rich guy while the other dudes are watching and you expect them to believe Nigerian love is not about the money? Hogwash! Example; I follow some foreign forums where I see ladies talk about their relationships. How they are in love with some dudes despite their shortcomings..No 9ja girl go even agree say her BOBO no get, I blame nollywood for that sha. Conclusion; A typical 9ja guy believes that all he needs to do is get the money and then he can use that to keep his gf/wife while it lasts and you expect them to be romantic? NAH..they are only trying to stay with the reality on ground. nuella2: Givings are not be centered on just ones biological (flesh) family . There are other givings that are biblical financial principles . Like offerings, tithing , special seeds etc. The pastor didnt say you should not give to your biological parents but if that's the only giving then its fleshy and not spiritual .I'm not surprised that you were not there and still is defending the preacher.
