Very civilized really. No insults, no nothing. Both guys pretty much accepted each others views as they were.
If same can happened on several car talk threads without the bullying you see around, "Nigeria", I mean, NL, would be a better place.
Nice one guys! I'm really surprised to see comments like these.
I was even thinking we were all in the USA having a healthy conversation, and not in Nigeria.
This is how learned persons behaved. They tolerated each others views, without sounding....

Done ma'am! Let's see how it goes then.

No one ever replied me on y some of my threads are being deleted.
Could you point the Mod reply as regards that? I'd be so glad.

They are original contents from me, and not YouTube links.
Does that means if they are my contents they aren't supposed to be shared?

@engineer. I like your kind of personality. Thanks so very for putting out that link here. At least no matter what thread has being hidden, one can actually access it.

I'm kinda like surprised here!

You post videos with YouTube links, they never get deleted. But when I do same, mehn, within some seconds, its deleted.

Is there something going on with the Mod?

Notice the crack at the middle of the filter casing

Car TalkRe: DTC Code P-2716: Corolla 2005-2007 by TRYGO(m): 9:23am On Sep 20, 2019
Here's the transmission system filter that was a culprit in the Sienna.
The mesh media is clogged with dirt, limiting fluid pressure to the appropriate solenoids.

Car TalkRe: DTC Code P-2716: Corolla 2005-2007 by TRYGO(m): 9:20am On Sep 20, 2019
That's where some of the solenoids are located.
The harnesses are what you see coloured green.

This was a Sienna 2005

Some questions for you:
1. What are the symptoms you're getting?
2. What's the level of your transmission fluid?
3. Have you replaced it before?
4. What specific model here?
5. What job has being done after you noticed this problem?

Suggestions:
1. From the code, this has to do with a deteriorating fluid line pressures within one of the transmission system solenoids in the gearbox.

Its what a transmission should be able to replaced (but some would just want to go the outright replacement route though).

2. Electrical issues with either the wiring harness on that actuator solenoids (I mean a short circuit or open circuit). In this case, replacing the solenoid won't fixed it.
Repair the wires, if its bad.

3. Next could be the TCM, which one some cars are attached to the transmission system outside. On some models, Toyota made away with those, and incorporated the transmission system controls in the car's ECU.

Hope this gives you more info to work with.

PS: If you got no time, and in a hurry for a mobility, then outright REPLACEMENT OF TRANSMISSION SYSTEM if you got the resources.

If you're a guy that just does not want to know exactly what happened, and a repair, then the actuator solenoid should be replaced (before considering the ECU).

I know this might be ridiculous, but have the transmission system filter inspected for cracks. I had a similar experience fixing a Siena. Glad, we didn't replaced the transmission assembly entirely.

Car TalkRe: Benin City Residents & Their Obsession For Audi 80! by TRYGO(m): 8:40am On Sep 19, 2019
I think this has to do with geographical or let's say people's allegiances to certain brands, countries, or so.

For instance,
North! obsessed with Honda. France is an extremely liberal country, etc.

Southeast! Benz, fords,. They live Americans that much guys.
Basically, more American and German cars over there.

Southwest! Depends on which part of the southwest though.
Transporters mostly cherished Nissans, and Mazdas.
You can't delineate Lagos from VW(the danfos).

Niger Delta! I think those guys over there are a combination of brands choices of the southeast, and southwest.

These are just my observations and nothing else.
I'm not trying to Stoke up some kind of regional superior warfare here.

Good job you guys are doing at @Radautos.
I'm just kinda curious about the frayed fuel pump on the Benz. I'm looking at the wiring harnesses of the pump, on how the wires got burnt.

From your assessments, what do you think caused the pump to fry up to this stage?

Is the truck a 2/4WD? The prices of the front differentials are different.
The 4WD is more costlier.

When getting the next differential, pls do not agree to the differential fluid to be mixed as he did. Get the right fluid and use directly. Mixing it, affects miscibility, and its viscosity.

When at it, you could check out the driveshaft hoses, for ruptures, and all that. Relubricate if needed.

Hope you find some sort of succour here.

@tojjah: you've a possible transmission issue. What are the symptoms you're experiencing?
Car TalkRe: That Spongy Brake Application Feel by TRYGO(op): 1:02pm On Sep 17, 2019
The hybrid ABS pump, is highly pressurised, when the vehicle is on ready, or immediately the doors are opened, the hybrid brake system, especially the pump, begins to pressurised the system.

Opening any of the lines, with that kind of a pressure, would cause spills either on the body paint, or your eyes/skin, if you're not wearing protective clothing or goggles.
Car TalkRe: How Durable Is Toyota 4runner 2002 Model by TRYGO(m): 6:37am On Sep 17, 2019
Durable, but I think it has either a ball joint or lower arm pull problems on some of the models.

I see some of them, just like the Honda ball joint on roads, not in the majority like Honda.
Car TalkRe: That Spongy Brake Application Feel by TRYGO(op): 6:34am On Sep 17, 2019
Can you further shade more light on your question? "...work on hybrid brakes", how?
Car TalkRe: That Spongy Brake Application Feel by TRYGO(op): 12:01am On Sep 17, 2019
After flushing the brake system of the dead fluid, I got it Dilled with a new one.

WARNING! If you have never done this before, o not attempt to perform this service on a HYBRID/ELECTRIC VEHICLE. It could be fatal.

Car TalkRe: Implications Of Connecting Radiator Fan From Ignition by TRYGO(m): 11:56pm On Sep 16, 2019
Problems maybe emanating from any of the circuits on the fuse assembly area at the front.

Are you sure the electrician is using the right fuse amperage?

Could you check if the two fan relays are shorted (bad)? Swapped a known good one and see how it goes.

Car TalkRe: Implications Of Connecting Radiator Fan From Ignition by TRYGO(m): 11:53pm On Sep 16, 2019
Yes, there are implications.

First of, you should not have agreed with the direct fan connections of the radiator fans.

LIKELY CAUSES OF THE PROBLEM

As long as the fuse keeps blowing, this tells me there's either a short to ground problem, or so.

There's a current flow that is way beyond the carrying capacity (amperage) of the existing fuse that keeps blowing.

One or two of the electric fan motors must have burned out. I mean the windings inside the motors are susceptible to heat. They loose their insulation when huge flow of current passes through them, or one or two of the fans are stuck by a wire or debris.

Check the fans blades to see if they are stuck(not moving).

You have to troubleshoot that car properly to get to the root cause of this dilemma.

This maybe not be something within your skill set right now, seeing that the electrician, has just left that part of the diagnosis.

So, here are the implications, off my head.
1. The lifespan of your electric fan motors is being cut short here, because they tend to run, at every second the ignition switch is turned to accessory.
Be prepared to start replacing fans.

2. Your car's fluids are meant to reach a certain operating temperatures, before efficiency is achieved.
Now, the fluids such as trans fluid, and engine oil, does not get to their normal temperatures.
This in my view, would increase the viscosity of the fluids you use.

3. The lifespan of your battery is cut by almost 1/2.
Seeing that you keep running the fans off of the battery, the alternating system would have to keep recharging the battery to its recommended state of charge(SOC).
I hope you do know that what kills batteries is the number of discharge and charge cycles the batteries undergo within a short period of time.

4. Although, this is rare, but its a possibility, that your car could catch. This has to do with the inability of the fans circuits to bear the large current surge in it's wiring harnesses and connectors.

It gradually starts with melted wires, and smells of burning insulation, before you know it, BOOM! That's a fire.

Finally, retrieve your car from the electrician, if he can't figure out what the problem is.
This is similar to instances where people connect their fans directly, to conceal an overheated engine.

Hope this gives you some succor.

PS: What car is this?
