PoliticsRe: Lagos “deports” 160 Northern Beggers by Tsiya(m): 10:07pm On Aug 24, 2009
sjeezy8:
ok,  back to topic kid

I understand other parties do wrong, but im sayin if  Fashola ordered the shooting of people as OSIS said The PDP would be the first to call him out and put him in jail.

Alot are not nigerians but from Niger republic and yes the FEDERAL Government should assist Nigeria as a whole by protecting its borders. But for those who are already there the FEDERAL Government should actually develop more places other than major cities.  Fashola can only do for his own state. If other Governors were like Fashola people would stay in there own states. To often people come to LAGOS.
First of all there is nothing like protecting our borders against Nigeriens. As ECOWAS states we can move freely within Ecowas communities without the need of passport. Asking ppl to stay in their own states is like killing mankind. Just because we have political boarders those not mean that people should not move. Human beings hav bn over centuries and ppl should be allowed to move to whereever they want. And once you agree to become a country, then there should be no restriction as to where ppl should move and who should move from one state to another.
PoliticsRe: Street Begging Banned In Plateau by Tsiya(m): 9:57pm On Aug 24, 2009
What the govt should have done is not banned street begging. They should enforce Child protection Laws. Laws that will force parents to provide shelter and food for their children. This is their right. If you can provide for a child, a person have no business giving birth to multiple of children and then send them to street to beg for food
PoliticsRe: Lagos “deports” 160 Northern Beggers by Tsiya(m): 9:32pm On Aug 24, 2009
Sannu Hauwa. There is nothing like adopting Lagos as home when you dont have a place to sleep. I doubt if these ppl have homes in Lagos. However, wether Lagos is their home or not they are Nigerians. They are also human. Governments should be rational.
PoliticsRe: Jimoh Ibrahim: I'll Pay Today! (Oceanic Bank Loan) by Tsiya(m): 9:28pm On Aug 24, 2009
So the guy got the money and he refuse to pay untill now.

Some Nigerians irrespective of their social/Economic status they hav to show their Area Boy mentality.
PoliticsRe: Lagos “deports” 160 Northern Beggers by Tsiya(m): 9:21pm On Aug 24, 2009
Deporting beggers to Kaduna is unjust to Kaduna State. If the Gov really want to get rid of Professional Beggers from Lagos it shouldn't just behave like over-jealous mother in-Law trying to take over the house of her son. A state is suppose to be reasonable. They should have identified the States origin of each of the beggers they arrested and ship them to state Secretriats not smuggle them in the Night like you are dumping refuse. These ppl are human being for God Sake. Most of them are cripple. They deserve more compassion. Im dissappointed with his action
PoliticsRe: Street Begging Banned In Plateau by Tsiya(m): 9:14pm On Aug 24, 2009
The problem with our governments is fire brigate approach. Sometimes, ppl should understand in a country like Nigeria where there is no Benefits/Social Security or welfare, street begging is a necessity for many Nigerians. I do know that there are some that have turned it to all time profession rather than a temporary inconvinience, but governments shouldnt just start something that they cannot sustain. Unless the states introduce something like Social security/Benefits or Food Stamp/Voucher like many countries they cannot STOP total begging.
FamilyRe: My Wicked Second Husband Will,he Remove My First Husband Children Names by Tsiya(m): 10:21am On Aug 22, 2009
The guy is damn right.

Why should he will somebodys progeny? Why should I help to strengthen the Gene of another man? You are even lucky he married you with Children.

I will love you but I will not love your former husband, especially if he is not dead.

Na this kind thing happen, when person divorce his wife, he help raise his stupid bastards, once they grow up, when they will be usefull to you, the parental magnet from that useless man will just attract the child and the child will be nowhere to be found near you. No, no way
PoliticsRe: Questions For Sanusi Lamido Sanusi by Tsiya(m): 10:08am On Aug 22, 2009
Sacking of Bank MDs/CEOs is the norm in banking industries, but public naming of debtors sound kind of 'Nigerian Way' of doing things.

If you want to make any difference in Nigeria you hve to Shout Loud and Clear. If we try to do anything behind close doors, it doesnt work out. Not in Nigeria, everything have to be bared open.

Example, Access Bank have bn asking Femi Otedola to pay them back, the guy refuse untill they decide to go out in the public. Now he have payed. You will be suprise that these guys have recieve letters, upon letters and letters from the banks to service their loans and the have refused.

Why do you guys think Nuhu Ribadu did well during the EFCC? He was Shouting Loud and Clear

Ok, guys walk along any street in Nigeria, the noise level is damn high. We have to shout to hear ourselves.
PoliticsRe: Soludo Was Chairman Of AFC. They Owe N32Bn by Tsiya(m): 6:10pm On Aug 20, 2009
AFC is Soludo's baby. He establish the company when Nigeria lost the seat to chair ADB. He (or OBJ) concieved the idea, and then they move some Federal Gov't money to AFC. Did you remember the investigation he under went in the early days of Yar'adua?

It kind of funny you know. I do know that ppl can be identified with accent but I never thought by just looking at a person face you can identify, especially if they are young as you said, unless you look like Igbo.

you go right on along and do that. GO RIGHT ALONG!

and wait, the last time i checked a hater was someone who is jealous of what someone else has.
PLEASE, we are NOT nor will we ever HATE ON YOU.
thats the last thing i would do.
who would wanna "HATE" on you? oh please!

please dont misuse the word hate.
It makes me laugh . . . the way u talk about the North . . . I feel sorry for you because your head is stocked with ignorance and mis-information.

Anyway, you aint the only one spewing hate and anger on the Northern ppl. It wont do anything to us

The fact that you guys are even angry alone is purnishment enough.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram New Leader: "We Will Teach Nigeria A Lesson: " by Tsiya(m): 6:54am On Aug 16, 2009
Angry ppl. Haters. . . believe anything ppl

I will send a letter to Vanguard and see if it will be publish soon

It is not about changing mind it is about compromise. This world is a world of interdepedance and coexistance, and these can be achieved by compromise and finding a common ground among all differences.

At least I got something out of you today. 2 lines of CAPs and 2 lines of normal sentence. So we are going to meet some where in the middle.  cheesy

why shouldnt i be angry when that man sees nothing wrong with why boko haram have been terrorizing people and especially christians by burning down their churches.
this man is insane.

he shouldnt support them just because he knows some of them and they are his people.
its just wrong!!

if they were from the south i wouldnt support them either.
Did I said I support them?

Or u want me to shout kill everyone? Is that wat u want me to say?

All I said killing everyone is not a solution to the problem. Killing doesnt solve ideological problem. You have to wipe out entire communities and generation before u can kill and ideology by killing people (and that is called genocide).

U are just so sentimental about the whole situation and your feelings towards everyone in the North. Vast majority of the ppl dont even care what ppl like you think. We are not living in this world because of you, and we wont cease to exist because you dont like us.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram New Leader: "We Will Teach Nigeria A Lesson: " by Tsiya(m): 10:51pm On Aug 15, 2009
AMAKA, the angry woman . . .Foxed oriented republican. . .

Anyway, I got better things to do. Talking to ppl from south is like talking to rocks. Most of you ppl just believe you are better than everybody.Nobody have monopoly of Knowledge and wisdom. People cant even talk reasonably with, u start waging ur finger and shouting and calling names. Condemnation doesnt yield results. Condemnation begets more enemies. U can call me whatever name u like, you cant change who I am and how my perception. Im who I am and Im proud of who I am and I love where I come from.

The news is also on thisday and guardian so do not blame vanguard.
So what!!

I can write a letter today and even send it by post and say Im the international financeir of Boko Haram, and then what? will  they just publish it because they dont have news worthy to be a their headline.

THE AMAKA:
HEY! NA WA OO!!
true talk oo!!
how can someone say this is a false story? some of the major news has covered this story.
some choose to believe and some choose not to believe it.
of course tsyian will want to believe his own people, THEY ARE HIS PEOPLE.
even some of his people are in boko haram and he claims to know them.
but he doesnt want to see them dead like all the other people they have killed.
i dont believe in an eye for an eye, but in this case they have killed far too many peolpe.
and who would want to see them continue their rampage than to be stopped? NA WA OO!!
boko haram people even said they would die for this cause, SO LET THEM DIE.
its not like they want to stay alive.

will they kill 5,000 people before someone decides to take REAL action and get these lunatics off the streets?
hmm!
Problems are not solve by raving anger. Problems are solved with reasoning.

Killing ppl doesnt stop an ideology. Elightment and dialogue are the way forward

Jesus was crucified(supposedly), it didnt stop you from getting the message today

Saro Wiwa was killed, it didnt stop the Niger Delta struggle

Killing Saddam does not stop killing in Iraq, rather it gave room for more bloodshed

U can be angry and shout and if u like tell the Nigerian police and army to kill everybody across River Niger and Benue, it wont going to change anything.

And so what!!! So just because Vanguard and Guardian get a letter so it means it is true.

Open ur email box every morning how many letters to u recieve. Letters from the Presidency, Senate President, CBN gov, does that make them real.

The media from the south, they sometimes aggravate the whole thing. It make it look like, tomorrow we or next, the BOKO HARAM will just cross the Niger and take over everywhere.

Ppl like you will continue to wallow in ignorance and anger, it wont change anything in Nigeria

You are absolutely right.

I hav bn following vanguard recently. . .everything about their news is . . .phobic. They spread rumours and lies and dont care to apologise. Verything is " Our souce tell us" They cant say how they get the information. Everything is a rumour.

shut the hell up.
they only want us for our oil, admit it!!
those people you claim to be your "people" are greedy bleeps!!
as soon as we get independence we wont need to go to abuja.
we will take our oil money and better our country.
spend it where it needs to be spent.
it wont be going to waste and in swiss bank accounts.
so obviously you like us and think we are good for something.
and if you think its okay for them to want to press shariah law on us, you are insane!!!
stop defending those criminals! if you believe in shariah law, tell the government to cut off all their hands and legs as they have been stealing from us! if they want to stay true, they will then cut off all their limbs.
anyone who defends boko haram has no regards for human life.
all the people they have killed and all the lives theyve ruined and you still want to see them alive.
they will only continue to kill people all in the name of BOKO HARAM/WESTERN EDUCATION IS SIN.
is that the reason to kill someone??
you are heartless, just like them. no regards for human life.

how can they ask for money when they will not even contribute to the country and get a decent education?
how do they expect to get the money? from thin air?
those people NEED an education and you need to stop supporting you ignorant, foolish, boko haram friends of yours.
Wow, I didnt know u can be that much angry. . . . just suck it up ok!!! There is nothing that is going to happen. I have said over and over again, your anger wont solve the problem. Believeing every shit you read on the newspaper about the north and shariah is naivety. Religious fundamentalism is a problem and the the govt have to do something about.

THE AMAKA:
what does that have to do with anything?
i know you are part of boko haram. only one of them will defend their own.

if you support boko haram, get off of this forum.
obvious we are speaking ENGLISH here not whatever language they want.
after all, western education is sin.
so if you support them, you shouldnt be on this forum.
@Nex and Amaka

I believe in rational thinking. Condemnation of Boko Haram wont solve the problem, neither will it bring back 700 lives lost (some of whom I know). Boko Haram, as I said earlier, is a wrong and just an event in a cycle of many events. The govt have to act towards providing education and elightment for the people. This is what I have bn saying long time ago. I have said it and I will say it again. The policies of the government encourages boko haram. Im not happy they way things are going on. A lot of these ppl lack even the basic islamic knowledge. No one is happy. Im not happy. But I wont celebrate either because they are killed. We have no winner in this situation.

YOURE SO FULL OF IT, AGAIN!
i didnt say that the boko haram people should be killed. but if they do get killed or someone decides to kill them, so what?
why should i care?
what about all the people theyve killed.
but you claim to have a HUMAN HEART and dont want to see YOUR PEOPLE suffering.
exactly! no matter what they did its your people, thats why you dont want to see anything happen to them.
what about all the lives theyve ruined? and you sit there and talk about having a human heart.
PLEASE, I HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON WITH BOKO HARAM.
i believe women have rights, i believe in education. and i believe people should worship freely!!
i dont believe in things people say and use as an excuse and say "all in the name of God"
tufia!
Send me your picture and I guarantee you if I go to Bauchi next time, I will get a Boko Haram wife/daughter that looks like you.

Kai wallahi Im tired. Let me go and live a life. Amaka and Hollandis you guys just suck it up. You are stuck with me and my ppl. Even if the country devide you will still come to Abuja for Ecowas meeting. We have a destiny. That is why 20% of black people come from the geographical entity of Nigeria. Look how big sub saharan Africa is, but just imagine 40% of the ppl are in Nigeria. You guys just better get used to the idea.

WHAT?

actually who cares if the boko haram people live or die.
they are killing innocent people, ruining lives, turning wives to widows, leaving children without parents, all in the name of BOKO HARAM.
please, spare me!!!

i dont give a damn if any of them live or die.
look at all the people they have killed. do they really deserve to live, and then kill again?
People with human heart will actually care. And I dont think, Jesus, the one you claime to worship, will not care. And u have to care because u share so many things with BOKO HARAM.

And I do care. These are my ppl, anybody killed because of ignorance of brainwashing is a pity and I have to worry about that. It can happen in all form.

NO. lol

if you look above i came back.

i cant leave you hanging.  (:
Co-dependence. In as much as we stick to oil as the only resource, we are not going to develop. Even if Nigeria disintegrate. Oil isnt sufficient. Diversitification of the revenue is what keep a country going. Nigeria was a much better country when oil was selling less thant $10/barrel. We had industries running. We had electricity. Our solid minerals and agriculture market was great. We were exporting food. Now with the Oil becoming a premium commodity we are wallowing in poverty never witnessed by our parents when they were younger.

Well I do agree with you, we need oil, and we can go to the extend of invading Niger or Chad to get that oil if it is essential for our survival.

You ppl just blindly believe that some 2million barrels oil is sufficient to take u out of poverty?

Our problem is bad governance and we can see that in every state in Nigeria. It has nothing to do with  ethinic or tribal affiliation. It has to do with they way we think. Just because Yar'adua is from Katsina, and so we take the blame of bad governance. Why not blame the refrees. The Senate and Reps that are constitutionally empowered to ensure he work

I'm very saddened to see Tsiya and THE AMAKA go at loggerheads on this non-issue.

These reasonable people who have been engulfed by the generalizations that their people make about each other. These are civilized people that I'm sure when the perpetuators of civil strife succeed, may be caught up in the hands of barbarians. I don't wish you evil, but by the time this fuel burns, it will turn us all to ashes.

When the issue of Boko Haram started, Tsiya was one of the first to come on Nairaland to condemn them and wish all of them extra-judicial executions. I had to scold him for that. It is surprising that he should now be grouped along with them in this new accusation. It's sad how Nigerians can be so easily swayed.

As for THE AMAKA, I promise you, she doesn't speak the way she types. Sometimes Nigerian issues just get so troubling that the only way you can deal with them is by discussing them playfully. Just to avoid giving yourself a heart attack. However, I must state clearly that in the Nairaland rules, it is wrong to keep arbitrarily typing in CAPS. Read the rules if they are still there. It's the first thing any Nairalander should do before posting messages. As Nigerians we must learn to put first things first and act according to the rules if not, tomorrow we'll become leaders and repeat the mistakes of today.

The Sharia matter is a very serious thing. Only a Christian President can allow Sharia, and only a Muslim President can stop it. For political reasons, so that this group does not say it is because the President is from here that he did this or did that. I will tell you all that Northerners believe they are the ones being marginalized in Nigeria while Southerners sincerely believe they are the ones marginalized. So both parties are aggrieved.

The letter itself is a FAKE. But it is producing very REAL results. Suspicion and tension have been built. I can promise you that handbills of this letter are being distributed.

Al Hakubarah y'all. I rest.
That one u are wrong. Go back and read my post. I have never supported the killing of Boko Haram even from day one. Because even before you gusy know about BOKO HARAM, I knew about it since 2005 and I personally know ppl who are in the group. I never supported the killing for day one. I said the politicians are responsible and they re invovle. When are I saw everyone trying to tear me apart, in particular you, saying that every person in Nairaland is intellengen. I withdrew and said it is conspiracy theory.
