In my school days when my mum was busy forcing me to attend these mega-christian schools in nigeria these men were held in high esteem by both our school authority and the church. Mike murdoch for example came to the school once, so did the oral roberts. Both men all the time ranting like they had meaningful stuff to say. One was busy preaching to us about wealth and even tore the dollar calling it a piece of paper! Ted haggard also came and was supposedly performing miracles, thank goodness i wasn't there, i decided to skip the whole useless service to stay back and have a nice nap in the hostel. When guys came back they were like "oh Tudor you missed; the blind saw, a crippled man walked and blah blah blah" "he's a powerful man blah blah"Imagine my suprise when he confessed years later to having homosexual relationships! My immediate thoughts were "at least i didn't waste that sunday"

The guy said he repented and stuck to this one girl for 5 MONTHS! As a guy don't you think he would have noticed any symptoms if he had contacted an STD during his player days? 5 months is a pretty long time when it comes to the penis and STD. Now to the essence of this thread, i personally don't think people display hate and anger here, rather healthy discussions and arguments take place, even though sometimes things might get out of hand and insults and fists fly around. I think it's inevitable when sensitive topics like religion are discussed.

Religions most often than not promote practices which are a danger to humanity and society at large - take for example islam encourages believers to slay or murder unbelievers [like me], amputate, enslave, behead, rape and thigh little children, promising them heaven and 72 virgins if they do all these for allah- just the other day abuzola was threatening to jihad us all, even vowed to voodoo the moderator till he regrets ever being a mod! One wonders what would have happened if we were face to face.
As such we cannot "live and let live" or allow them to find peace coz that'll mean that we be dead, amputated, enslaved, harassed e.t.c and our young girls married off to 50year old men. Sleep isn't any junior death. Infact science has shown that during sleep brainwaves on an EEG are equal or even more than when wide awake at rest. You were probably in some hyper coma, a person is certified dead when the brain dies completely. Your heart might stop beating but your brain is still alive, thats why doctors usually test stuffs like pupillary reflex to ascertain death.
