pakpan89: REASON:
Whether we believe it or not, we are not succeeding in life and we will not succeed in life because the world is a PYRAMID and we are labouring at the bottom of the PYRAMID system of this world controlled by the hostile rich few at the top always working to oppress the poor, stopping the poor to rise so that the rich become richer and the poor poorer.
All the resources, money and success we desire in life are at the top of the pyramid. And the top of the pyramid is narrow. Everyone cannot reach the top and succeed. Most people must crash out = FAIL.
Goodnews. We have discovered a simple way out anyone can quit the pyramid system of this world, still become successful in life and fulfill Destiny in the next one to three years time - 100% Guaranteed - simply by building a lucrative, life changing information business of simply telling people the above truth and secret of life. That's all.
No selling of products. No time taking. No talking. No interference with your current job or business or academics even as a student.

Bagehot: For starters, if you start out disadvantaged, why shouldn't you have uncommon zeal? I keep saying this thing is a myth, cos I have hired dozens - maybe even hundreds in my time in banking and investment management that didn't know anyone. This 'long leg' thing is mostly hype: unless you are coming from Obasanjo or Osinbajo, no first-rate bank or company would break their backs to take you in - and even the calibre of people that can get you in probably won't want to cash in their good-will by always helping every tom, harry and jones with a job.
I have seen countless candidates from top-people in Nigeria that didn't get jobs; think about it: how many positions are in large companies compared to the number of VIPs in Nigeria? Have you ever asked why you give your resume to that top-man or chief, and never get a response? Its cos there are so many people currying favours, that top executives can't be bothered - they would only play to the gallery.
Do you even imagine the people running the companies are stupid that they would stock their firms with incompetent people in the name of doing favours to all sorts? U better be realistic cos u know the truth. This is Nigeria. |

FunnyDude: Look for schools around you and apply for a teaching job. At all at all na winch my brother. From there you will spread your tentacles for the big shot. Idleness is very bad. Good one. The problem is most Nigerian fresh graduates are looking for comfortable jobs. Why does the guy not look for some marketing jobs, even if salary no dey, still use that one dey find another job. I started with a marketing job(commission only) for a telecom firm, and after 3 months they moved me to another dept called Key Account dept with salary attached. Later a GSM company came to buy the company 100% and I became a part of the GSM company. Most Nigerian youths are lazy; waiting for a chevron and Mobil jobs before they can say they have a job. Most companies are looking for marketers. Start from there first, then network yourself. There are several insurance companies, banks looking for marketers. Marketing does not kill. temitofa: MTN Nigeria is increasing the number of digits for the PINS on recharge vouchers from 16 to 17 digits. This means that when you purchase a scratch card of any denomination, the number of PINs you will type in the process of loading will be 17.
Back in 2016, the foremost telecom operator increased the number of digits from 12 to 16 now, it’s taking it to 17 digit. We just hope by 2020, we will not be counting 20 digits.
Despite the change the old 16 digit vouchers remain valid and useable. Also, whether you recharge a 16 or 17 digit pin code the value of the airtime remains the same.

Business › Re: Jumia have delivered my Tablet I complain about yesterday on Nairaland by Tunagee(m): 10:17am On May 04, 2018 |
bamac: I agree with you that Jumia needs to work more, but one thing we must all know is this, no perfect organization. Apart from that, we should also understand that ecommerce in Nigeria is not as sweet as those of the western world and this is obvious as Jumia remain the standing online mall as others are facing serious battle not just with the economy but people that surrounds the organization which includes the customers too as many people are fraudulent. Many will order and request for pay on delivery and on the day of delivery they will reject the item, not because it is bad but because they don't have money. Many tried making order as they want to see if it will work out. We also have many who will receive theie order and will change the item to another one and complain that the company responsible delivered wrong, malfunctioning or incomplete item, meanwhile they changed the package themselves.
Many among vendors too will take good item to Jumia or the company during assessment or even when the quality assurance team comes for visitation in order to ensure items by the vendor are perfect, they will never display the bad items which they have in large quantities, the few good and quality ones will be displayed in their store but when it is time to fulfil their part of the deal they deliver something else.
I am not a full time Jumia staff but a full time independent sales consultant. I have been in this business for more than 2 years and i can say that my customers have enjoyed the best items from Jumia, this is because i select the best item from best vendors while i track the delivery agent for successful delivery of any item i order.
Those companies, institutions and groups that i make bulk orders for have never complained about my service and Jumia as a whole, not because everything is perfect but because i know my job.
With the issue of the OP, i know what i quickly had to do to get her item delivered which included calling the supposed delivery agent and the office itself despite the fact that the customer herself had already made different calls which proved abortive as the issue eas network related and not the fault of the delivery agent in the picture attached above. And once in a while such issue occurs, even in our private businesses we have times when such mix up comes up, the response at resolution matters.
Even those western online malls do face many of these issues we are facing with Jumia and others here, but possibly because they have stronger government policies in place, they get resolurions to issues as fast as possible, unlike here where those with influence get 5 star service at the expense of the poor.
Jumia may not be perfect, but trust me, as much as Jumia is trying her best to be of great service to the people, the people around it do not want it to move, but whether they like or not, Jumia will stand. I wish Jumia can pay you for this publicity, and even make u their staff. But hell no, they would rather employ their relatives. I did same for MTN too where I worked for 10 years as contract, they never even looked at me twice. |

Abeg park one side I have always struggled using MTN at home for like 7 years. It's been terrible. So people in my area advised to use GLO, but I kept doubting, not until I tried it on Saturday. LTE and 3G all very fast on GLO. I don't have to run up and down looking for network around my home and my immediate environment anymore. It was very terrible for 7 years. I even complained to MTN to optimize the network, upon everything, no show. For u guys info, I worked for MTN for 10 years so I know what the network strengths are. I am particular about where I Iive and do 95% of my browsing. GLO data also does not deplete quickly. MTN bullshit data exhausts like pure water.! I don't give a damn about their rip off network. Be assured that MTN's data revenue growth is not a fluke but a representation of subscribers' continued trust in the yellow network. As a company out to make its customers happy, MTN continues to invests heavily in network productivity and optimisation. If you don't know, you don't know.

Truth234: MTN Nigeria Communications Limited has announced a year-on-year increase of 73.2 per cent in revenue from data services for the first quarter of this year.
A statement issued by Public Relations and Protocol Manager, Mr. Funso Aina, on Thursday said the digital mobile operators grew its total revenue for the quarter by 14.4 per cent.
The company, however, did not disclose what the earnings mean in monetary terms. It pledged to release detailed results on May 7.
The statement read in part, “MTN Nigeria subscribers increased by 4.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter to 54.5 million.
“Constant currency (organic) service revenue increased by 14.4 per cent and data revenue increased 73.2 per cent year-on-year.”
The statement quoted the Chief Executive Officer, MTN Nigeria, Ferdi Moolman, to have said, “MTN Nigeria delivered a strong performance for the first quarter of 2018, supported by growth in data revenue and increased scale. We also maintained positive momentum in growing our subscriber base and maintaining our network leadership position.”
He added that MTN continued with the positive momentum of 2017, increasing service revenue by 14.4 per cent year-on-year, supported by a 73.2 per cent increase in data revenue and 15.2 per cent growth in voice revenue.
In the first quarter of 2018, the earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation margin expanded to 41.8 per cent due to well controlled expenses and a stable naira, he added.
The mobile operator reported net additions in the quarter of 2.3 million following on from the two million net additions in the fourth quarter of 2017, which was supported by the increase in the SIM registration footprint.

philsbaba: I would really appreciate it if the mods can push this to front page; so that other job seekers would not fall for the scam.
During the weekend I was sending my cv to different email addresses of company representatives for the purpose of employment.
I sent so many mails and I'm can't even remember all the companies I sent mails to.
While I was praying this morning, a call came in, then i paused my prayers and picked the call and the person asked if he was speaking to "Michael" I said yes; and he said he is calling to remind me of an interview that I've been scheduled for by 11:00am today.
They said they sent me a mail, I didn't get any mail tho, so I asked him to send me the address of the company. The name of the company is Mc Dorsey. He sent the address as a text.
After the call I quickly finished my prayers and started to prepare for the interview. That was around 9:30am.
The company is in obalende in Victoria island. My mom quickly helped me iron my white shirt and navy blue chinos. I ate and by 10:00 am I was all set.
Thank God I didn't bother to wear my blazers self, na that one for pain me pass. I sha hold my tie and when I got to obalende I dropped and wore my tie and entered their office.
I met the receptionist and she welcomed warmly and asked me to sit, after sitting she give me some papers to go through, I would attach it with this mail.
The part wey pain me pass for this long epistle is that, this rubbish people should have simply sent this rubbish paper they give me to my mail so that I won't bother to borrow 1000 naira for transport from my mother.
How can they call a graduate to do a 30,000 naira per month job and if he doesn't refer up to 5 customers, he won't be paid .
Please if anybody calls you for any rubbish interview at Mc Dorsey in obalende, tell them to hold their interview, that you're not doing.
They did not even want me to take the rubbish paper along. But thank Gid I snapped it. My dad simply told me it's a waste of time when I informed him U get luck say no be GNLD. |
