Good morning house, my date of birth on my transcript is different from what I have on my passport. I want to assess my qualification with vettasse. I contacted the school and was told nothing can be done. I will appreciate if the house can advice me on how to go about this major issue. Thank you
First of all, who made a mistake in the DOB....you or your school?

With a 3rd class it will be difficult to get a direct masters, but it's possible. You might need to back it up with work experience to receive a direct masters. If you don't have work experience, your best bet would be to get either a packaged graduate certificate + Masters course or a packaged Masters qualifying course + Master.

With regards to degree that would lead to PR, there are numerous occupations on the PR list, however, you need to be aware that the PR process is now more competitive and it's not a guarantee. Gone are the days when if you studied here you are almost guaranteed a PR, but things have changed. There are lots of Nigerian students who have studied here for 2 years and are still unable to secure PR. A lot of them had to relocate to Tasmania, South Australia and Darwin to study another 2 years course in order to receive state sponsorship for PR (Not a guarantee). If you want to choose a state to study, i would recommend you go to regional area, however, be aware that it's difficult finding jobs in regional areas compared to cities in case your plan is to raise part of your tuition fees. Regarding course of study, I would recommend Social work as it's a bit less competitive and it's available on almost all states occupation list. There are also other occupations but you might need to do a bit of research.

Lastly, ensure you do some thorough research prior to proceeding as you will be better prepared for the battle ahead. I wish you all the very best.

Cheers!
Great insight you have shared.

@Jenny1000 if you have experience as a Microbiologist or related discipline, I'd advise you explore the PR route now.

Good morning house. Please i urgently need clarification on family sponsor. I have an elder from thesame parent, we have thesame surname in a region in Australia. I already have a positive assessment for microbiologist. Pls, can he nominate me for 491. Thanks.
Yes he can nominate you for family sponsored visa. Just be sure you have documents to prove your relationship (that he is your family member and not 'an elder') and he's willing to provide documents to prove he lives in designated regional area.

state nomination is the same as ITA.

The points are not reducing, those that are waiting should give study route a shot if financially bouyant or opt for Canadian PR.
It is seriously well....189 is now a long-thing although, some occupations are still hot-cake for 190 and 491 especially.

I have a B.A in arts (Way different)
Can't I modify my experience to suit that since the jobs roles are more alike
The course is not a problem however the University you graduated from will determine if it will fly for Marketing specialist.
For CSM, you can tweak your responsibilities as long as you have proof of all the job descriptions you put on your reference letter to back up your claim of being a CSM when Vetassess request for such.

Occupation - ICT customer support officer with 9 years experience.
Assessment body - TRA

NSW. Act and Tasmania are sponsoring the SOl
This info is not correct.
ACT and TAS are not sponsoring this occupation.
Only NSW, SA and QLD are currently sponsoring it.
You should apply to SA immediately if you have your assessment result and English test

Thanks for the response.

Basically I oversee an online sales team.
With my digital marketing skills, I run target audience based ads online (Google & FB), that translate to calls, orders and inquires which get converted to sales.
I also generate leads of potential customers online which get distributed to the team for calling.
My job role works hand in hand with seo, I have skills in that aspect.
I can't build a website but know what a good one should be made of especially for sales.
More like a project manager

Hope I made sense or answered your questions.
Great, however these are not Customer service manager roles as outlined by Anzsco or Vetassess

You may check out Marketing Specialist but that would also depend greatly on your qualification (Uni and course)

Hi everyone. I want someone to help me out on this questions
1. Can i be nominated for 491 visa by a family with PR that stays in a region in Australia.
2. I have an eight year old daughter that i wish to take along. I had her while in school.
Pls how do i go about it and what are the chances .
I am 30yrs, single(never been married). I have 1yr experience, 72points in PTE, positive assessment for microbiologist. God bless you all
1. yes depending on the relationship
2. You need to get consent or custody papers (can't remember the exact details) to be signed by both parent. The other parent must give consent for you to be able to add the child to your application.
Only SA is nominating your occupation currently but you need 95 points for 491 visa.

Have you lodged your EOI?

I have checked the states requirements and they require competent English and over 5 years experience which I have, is it automatic to get nomination once u meet the states 2 requirements above? Or do they still use points to rank the ppl that met the requirements for the occupation the state sponsor?
Is it difficult to answer the first two questions Experience4u asked in his reply to you?

Only SA nomination is automatic if you meet the requirements. Others are not automatic and depends on many other factors which is why you were being asked about your occupation and assessment.

Thanks a lot for responding.

Yes I have calculated my points. I hit the exact 65 for 189 and that is because I scored 0 for partner qualification. I will score an additional 10 if I claim I have no spouse at all? For 190, 80 points if we evaluate spouse's skills and its favourable and 75 if we don't. Yes I have gone through the SLA (cursorily for now) and I am fairly satisfied. I note I may have to write an Academic IELTS (I have a general one), but other things are in place. As for my husband's, I am still trying to figure out the information. I understand that his qualification will be assessed by AIM. I will do as advised though, thanks again for responding.
Does your spouse report directly to the MD of his/her organisation?

I dont think it will be a problem. Just make sure you have evidence of any issue that may or have arisen based on your 'dragging' (emails will be a good example). You can always attach and refer to them to explain the reason for the bulk payments.

However on the AIMS website i noticed that it constantly refered to certified copy of Front passport page, credentials, IELTS result and others. Please do i have to find a notary personnel to do this?. Please Help.
Secondly, i need direction on how to check the provinces that can nominates for skilled workers.
Thank you.
@experience4u, please assist with the first part.

Check www.anzscosearch.com/search to see the state nominating your occupation. Currently, only NSW is nominating MLT for 491 Stream 2 and it requires at least 5 years experience.

Good day Friends, Please I need your help;

Can I be successfully assessed by VETASSESS for my 10years valuable experience in Agricultural Consultancy role, although with a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. I started my career in an Agricultural firm as a Graduate trainee and have worked all my life in that Agricultural Consultancy line. Please, I will appreciate your kind advice to push through. Many thanks!
The image below explains. You may want to assess directly or better still, pay for Skill Assessment Support to determine if it will fly.
Vetassess should be able to give you a positive assessment even if some years will be deducted. You won't know until you try though

Good evening house. I have positive assessment as a microbiologist with vetasses. I am 30years old with overall of 72 in PTE. 1 year experience. Pls which states can i nominate
No state is currently nominating the occupation based on the details you have provided except for NSW 190 but you will need a very high point to be nominated cos the nomination space left is "limited" for Microbiologist

Thanks for your response.
I was thinking of an internal auditor role. I do not know if that can bag me enough points. I tried using the calculator and all I could get on VISA 190 and 489 is 65 & 70 respectively. Will I be able to claim points under the internal auditor role? How do I improve my score to meet the recent trend of 90 and above?

Everybody come to my aid oooo please!!!!!!, All suggestions are welcomed.

Thank you.
Nominate internal auditor with those banking roles you listed previously would mean giving Vetassess free money.

You need a minimum of 1 year experience and a Bachelor's degree to assess as an Internal auditor with Vetassess. If your BSc is not from OAU, UI, Unilag or FUTA, that means only your Master's degree will fly which most likely only experience after 2017 will be approved (that's if the experience is considered as an Internal auditor role by Vetassess).

P.S - Score of 90 and above does not apply to every occupation. Currently, Internal auditor requires 90 and above for 189 while it's less for the other visa class just that no state is currently nominating the occupation.

The standard points for all subclasses is 65, however point may vary from state of state with regards to each occupation. Check the specific requirements on the migration websites of the states nominating your occupation.

Thanks for your reply sir. I have bank statement and some payslips. I can get my pension statement from First Guarantee pension limited handlers by first bank but don't know how to get my tax statement. In my payslip, it is indicated that my tax is being deducted every month from the source
Speak to your finance team for your tax statements.
You will need more than 'some' payslips.
Read TRA website.

It means to nominate the occupation, it may require licensing by the state nominating you. The main word there is 'may'.
Licensing is not required now until you land

Good afternoon All,

Please I need your help with regards to this Australia Journey. I have one year in Auditing and presently a banker with 7.25 years experience in various capacities ( Funds transfer officer, Head teller, E-channels support,E-Business Control and now, a fraud analyst). I have an MBA (2017), B.Sc.(2008), OND(2004), AAT(2007) and ACA (2011).

I would like any advice on this Aussie quest. Thanks.
I'm not sure if there is any occupation you can assess on the list relating to your banking roles. You can assess as an external auditor but you won't be getting points for experience and currently, you need good points to get nomination as an external auditor.

You can also check the occupation list and see if there is any occupation you can nominate.

Dereformer:
Good day everyone on this forum. Please, I have a question to ask.

Wify has been working on migrating to Australia on PR with the entire family: myself and our two children.

She did very well in IELTS, her skill assessment came out very good. The assessment was done by CPA australia.

Now, her profession which is accounting is not in the required skill list for nomination.

We are currently considering migrating on students visa.
But, the estimated cost of about #13m is too high for me.

Even if I am able to raise this amount, are there chances of getting a PR over there while in student visa?

Please I need your candid advice.

The ultimate aim is to get a PR.
It's tough for Accounting graduates/Accountants seeking nomination here in Australia cos it's the most competitive occupation on the PR list. Getting a job in this area is also not easy as the competition is stiff while most states require a job offer to nominate an Accountant for 491 or 190 however, you spouse might be lucky to get a job in that field. It's a 50-50 thing for that occupation.

I would like to know what your qualifications and your experience are...you could also be the PA for the PR process too. You may have a higher chance if you go as a dependant since you will have full work rights

If you are keen on applying for the student visa, please consider the state nominating her occupation for onshore candidates and apply to schools in those states to give you an edge.
