rume: If one already has a qualification assessment from EA without experience as professional engineer, can one still claim work experience points when submitting an EOI later? Please get your RSEA to claim experience point. You can still lodge EOI but if you intend to claim experience points, get that assessed by EA. |

Quinhade: sorry what do you mean by AQF? I have a bacehelors degree in microbiology.. moreover microbiology is skill level 1 on ANZCO. please can you explain better. AQF is Australian Qualification Framework. OSU is a tier 2 University according to the AQF which means your Bachelors degree will be reclassified as an Associate degree and as such you can't nominate a level 1 occupation. You can only do with level 2 and below. |

magnolia4: Thanks, it is a science analytical laboratory and my job specifications include but not limited to analysis of food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, industrial samples, sample and data collection, writing reports and so on. And like I said, I was an assistant Laboratory officer before being promoted to a science officer last year. The only difference is in the job title First, we don't know which of the lab you referring. We have different lab jobs. Is it a Medical lab or Engineering lab that you worked in?
What was your job role for the period of five years? What exactly did you do in the lab? Your reply will attract the right answer to your question. Check out Life Science technician since its not a medical lab. |

Tonero123: Hi All
Please Is pension contribution statement, appointment letter, reference and payslip enough as evidence of oversea work experience when lodging application for 190 visa or I must upload tax clearance certificate ?
Also can I upload just my passport bio-data page only as travel documents or I must scan all the passport page and upload?
Please I need help with the above.
Thank you all. They are enough although if the Case officer is not convinced, you may be required to provide tax document but in most cases, they are enough. Just passport data page |

Quinhade: occupation- microbiology and i graduated from OSU You can't assess as a Microbiologist cos your degree is an Associate degree AQF and Vetassess will give you a negative assessment. Search for a level 2 or below occupation that is related to microbiologist that you can nominate. |

My first work experience was in a one man business but it was also in my field of study. I was there for three years but was paid in cash all through my time there.
Which supporting documents do I need to tender. Bear in mind that I have an appointment letter.
Please I'll be glad if anyone can put me through.

nurex11: Hello House , i would like to know an HND holder in Electrical/Electronic Engineering but has experience in Biomedical field, what psot would be the best to apply for under Australia PR Visa Biomedical engineer is a level 1 occupation which means his HND wont fly. I will advise he goes through the occupation lists on Anzsco to get an occupation he can nominate. visit www.anzscosearch.comClick the Hamburger sign (if you are assessing from your phone) and select 'List' Go through the 3 lists MLTSSL, STSOL and ROL Click any of the occupations that best relate to what you do. When you click the occupation, scroll down to 'Anzsco code' and scroll to 'Tasks' Check if the tasks relate to your occupation. |

- My first degree (Architecture) was from a private university and second degree(Landscape architecture) from Unilag, practising for over 3 years in the same field I studied in(Landscape architecture), does anyone know the likely outcome of my skills assessment?
- What kind of documents does VETASSESS request from you? do they request transcripts for your education assessment?
Thanks. You can assess as a Landscape architect with Vetassess with your Masters degree Vetassess request for transcript for your assessment. visit their website to read all the requirements. |

ajayidebo: Thank you for your response. I don't use ANZSCO alone as yardstick. I access the migrating states for updates as well. As it is, Tasmania is accepting nomination for 190 on Insurance Agent/Broker. But with condition of staying over for 2 years and a minimum bench mark of 65. Not sure I will want that. As you pointed out, I'm hoping others will open up come Nov 16th. By that time, I should have gotten position responses from Vetassess. (fingers crossed) All 190 visa requires you to stay in the state nominating you for 2 years. TAS does not issue 190 to offshore applicant except you have a job offer. |

olajide0808: pls what do you mean by AILTSL website also i dont want to apply for any IELTS again because the money itself not easy.. any idea with what i have on ground....if useful ? AITSL is the assessing body for teachers in Australia. A simple Google search will help. The requirement for AITSL is strictly IELTS Academics 8877. If IELTS fund is currently the issue, I will suggest you go through the first few pages of this thread to understand how much this journey gonna cost you and do a thorough evaluation afterwards. What you have on ground cannot be useful except you are ready to put in the work starting from asking the initial question of "do you have any teaching experience"? |

ajayidebo: Are you sure? The educational requirement is ND - skill level 3. I was thinking since HND was obtained before working experience, the BSc will just be used to gather more points. Adding BSc will only make you lose point. If other assessing body will overlook it (very unlikely), Vetassess will never. Only experience after the BSc will be counted. Moreso, the point for your Bsc and HND is the same 10 points. So why lose points when you can gain more? |

Please, does that mean I have to send only my M.Sc Cert/Transcript to Vetassess? By the time they deduct everything only God knows where I will land.
quote author=tunlex01 post=82870517] Oh, you can't use your BSc then cos NAU is a tier 2 University. You should use your MSc, however Vetassess will only approve experience from 2012 and still deduct at least 1 year from the approved experience. Good luck Yes. |
