Seniors in the house, I pay homage and salute everyone.

Please, I have few questions and would greatly appreciate any clarification on them.

I have:
B.Sc Political Science (2008)
M.Sc Political Science (2012) and have worked as a
Public Relations Officer from 2009-2019)
My Questions
1. Has anyone here gotten a positive assessment from VETASSESS using Public Relations Officer?
2. Do I have any chance with my qualifications and employment?
Please someone should assist me with best way forward.

Thank you all.
You didn't state the university you got your BSc from, it will help review your case better.
1. If you have your documents and Job description we'll aligned, you will be fine.
2. Please see below comment from Vetassess fact sheet for the occupation

Applicants must ensure they nominate the occupation which
most closely matches their qualifications and employment. This
occupation is different to 225113 Marketing Specialist and 225111
Advertising Specialist and 225112 Market Research Analyst.
Employment within these professions would not be assessed
positively for the occupation of Public Relations Professional.

Thank you
I'll suggest you submit only the HND if you want to claim at least 5 points in Experience. There is no need submitting the BSc since it was awarded just last year. You will lose experience point submitting the BSc to Vetassess

Did you read the comment in the screenshot you provided?

Goodluck bro.
I understand what he's saying. The occupation was nominated in July by SA and few other states for 489. Due to the closure of 489, it turned red.
Currently, Anzsco can't be used as yardstick to process assessment as most occupations are currently not available due to end of 489. As long as the occupations were available prior to now for nomination, there is a high probability that those occupations will be available by November 16.

Thank you very much. What is the minimum score for the IETLS? Besides, that means I shouldn't put my experience as an NYSC intern in my cv? If No, how do I account for the break on my CV.
minimum of 6 in each module
you can. You ca even add your NYSC experience if it's engineering related to write your CDR.

Note that all experiences less than 3 years is zero point.

Sir Bellong thanks so much for your help! AITSL is the assessing body, I'm heading to their website immediately!
Also, can I apply for visa 491 with the competent English (6.5) result that I have or should I still write to get higher score?
May God bless you sir.
You can apply if your other points meet the minimum requirement for ITA cos your current English score is z

As it is, AITSL requires IELTS Academic 8877 for a positive assessment.

Thank you, sir. How do I deal about the pay slip and tax remit as indicated above?
You don't need payslip or tax clearance to assess with EA. You only need Competent English from IELTS/PTE to begin your assessment since you do not have experience as an Engineer.

You don't need experience assessment as an engineer. You can write the CDR from your undergraduate thesis and industrial attachment to get a qualification assessment which can be used to get ITA.

Pls can one use a master's degree certificate to qualify for pr? I have a master's in Human resources manager.
Having qualification is different from having experience.
Do you have experience as an HR person?
If yes, is d experience after your Master's degree cos assessing bodies only count your e per experience after qualification?

Accounting is the devils den for PR in Australia. If your plan is to study and go back, then no issue. But if you are thinking of applying for PR after studying, my dear you are in for a long thing. We are talking about minimum of 95 points to secure an invite.
But 189 is not the only option to PR. You don't need 95 if you go for 190 visa or the new visa 491 starting in November.

Fellow Engineers in the house. Can I be accessed based on my NYSC experience in Civil Engineering. I intend to start processing Aussie after my NYSC.
Sure. For engineers assessing with EA only, you can assess just your qualification without experience as long as you can write a water-tight CDR.

You can even start now without completing the NYSC.

Pls is there any lawyer here going through or who has gone through the process to put me through..I have read through but it's still quite a bit confusing.
You will hardly see lawyers. Most lawyers go through their spouse.
If you are not married, you may try CA.

Australia or Canada, which is better?
There is no right or wrong answer.
This is what I did in my case.
I did my research and rated the two countries using several parameters. These parameters were based on my preferences, personality and experience.
You should do same and see which one is better for you.

Hello everyone, while assessing with vetasses iscit compulsory for the university to send both verified cert and transcript via courier, can I send them myself after collection?
I can't give a definite answer cos my school sent mine.
If the document has been sealed by uni , I'll suggest you send it from any courier company inside your school.

Kudos to the pioneers of this thread and also the previous threads. The information shared Here has really helped me and others in understanding the process however, my case is quite different.

I am 35, dropped out of school but later in life I was able to write and pass 6 professional IT courses, and I was lucky enough to work with these qualifications and gained working experience (8 years+) in my field (ICT Business Analyst)

I am also married with 1 kid and my wife is 31, studied chemistry in the university, she worked 1 year as a project coordinator, 2 years+ as a logistics coordinator in an engineering firm.

We plan to do our assessment next month with the hope that we would score good points in our IELTS.

I have some questions for the experienced people here.

Question 1: Is it true I can claim 10 educational points with my professional certificates? (MCTS, SAP, OCA etc.)

Question 2: whom do you think we should use as the primary applicant, me or my wife?

Question 3: what are our options for 189 visa because her project coordinator experience is for 1 year (this shows on the 189 skills occupation list) the logistics coordinator experience is for 2 years but only shows on the 190 & 489 skills occupation list.

Question 4: is it possible for me and my wife to do our assessment with 2 separate bodies?

Sorry my post was too long, kindly help with clarifications.

Thank you all.

Hi.
1. Yes you can if the qualification is allowed by ACS. You may have to list them so as to confirm if any will get your 10 points. In another news, your years of experience will most likely be slashed drastically.
2. You should be cos your wife's chance of getting a positive assessment with Vetassess is slim.
3. I would advise you face 190/491 squarely. Getting a 189 invitation is a tall order as DHA plan is to move people away from the major cities.
4. Yes

The statement just shows the amounts that have been remitted by your company to LIRS on your behalf. Chat with them on LIRS website and you will get it.

So Please under what occupation would this suffice?
All these are more of operational work and not that of a CSM.
There is no occupation currently that fits into that. If you are a supervisor and can assess a level 1 occupation, you may go for Corporate services manager.

My first degree is Elect Elect Engineering,
MSc is still in view MBA in Project Mgt specialization Currently on it in Australia
BEng graduation is 2014
You have 3 options depending on your capacity
1. Assess your qualification only with EA as an Electrical engineer.
2. Assess with Vetassess as a Project administrator with your EA degree. Note that you can't assess with Vetassess as a Project administrator even after your MBA until you have at least 1 year experience after the MBA (that's if you want to submit the MBA degree).
3. Assess for both occupation with the two bodies if you have d funds

Hello guys, I'll appreciate your help with these 2 questions please.
1.For the transcript, does acs need it sent to them directly by the school? Or can i send them my own copy of the transcript.

2. Where it is stated that the bsc certificate should be a "certified" copy. What does this mean? Do we take the certificate somewhere to be stamped "certified"
1. You can use your copy however it should be notarised
2. All documents to be sent to ACS must be notarized by a Notary public

Thanks for all the contributions and answers so far .... please I want to start my Australlia PR process with my OND and City and guilds.

I want to start my skill assessment as mechanical engineering technician but I have 2 years experience. Do I need to complete 3 years minimum or I can't have positive assessment with this?
Regards
For you to get a positive assessment with TRA, you must have 3 years experience else TRA will just collect your funds and slam you with a negative assessment. Just wait till you have your complete 3 years experience.
I hope you have either bank statement, pension or tax for these 3 years.

Never heard or read about such request before cos absolutely everyone prepares for the aftermath of an ITA which DHA is magnanimous to have given a 60-day application period. May I ask please, these urgent things you are doing, do you think they are tenable if you mail or call DHA?

good day sir ,I'm an architecture graduate and I have one year experience in architecture , this Experience was work I did during my final year in a firm , which I was paid salary etc . Can I apply for the program ? And what subclass of Visa do I apply for . Thanks
Final year... Sadly, that won't fly except the experience is after the date on your certificate.
For Aussie, only experience after qualification is considered. For example, if you completed your degree in December 2017 and on your certificate, it's April 2018, the assessing bodies (Vetassess especially) will only consider experience after April 2018.

What did you do during NYSC?

First, If after everything someone succeeded to enter Australia. is there already made job waiting for the person or will the person still go about applying for jobs.
Secondly, what about if the person after much application and couldn't get any, what is his faith in living there.
