Jobs/Vacancies / Re: You’re Not Getting The Job – 25 Reasons Why by tushbobo(m): 1:03pm On Jun 26, 2016 |
The major reason why there are many unemployed Nigerians is simply because we are a consuming and not a productive nation. Forget all those saying Nigerian graduates are unemployable. Nigerian companies do nothing about training and retraining but want employees to give all they have. My dad told me how many companies were folding up in the 80s due to unfavourable business conditions... This continued till 90s up until now.So this is just the law of cause and effect in action. |

Business / Re: Gtbank Is A Fraud!!! Charging My Account Unnecessarily by tushbobo(m): 12:28pm On Jun 23, 2016 |
Life4Varnity: Don't misinform people. GTB has some issues. I am aware enough not to attend to calls from imposters or open emails I have no business with. This has been on for some months and I was debited 6k. I complained thinking I was the only not knowing many folks are also affected. It debits your account balance and leaves your book balance... Only to debit your book balance many weeks later. This actually leaves room for confusion and fraud. 2 Likes |

Properties / Re: 5 Nigerian Cities With The Most Expensive Apartment Rentage by tushbobo(m): 12:50pm On Jun 20, 2016 |
martineverest: Port Harcourt is not as expensive as Lagos when it comes to rent. I have lived in both cities for many years.A one bedroom apartment in Surulere goes for 400k, three bedroom apartment goes for more than 1 million naira. Island axis is worse.Similar apartments close to the city center in PH go for less. |

One of the reasons subsidy payment was high was due to petroleum products illegally transported out of the country for higher gains by some greedy fellows. Another was cooking the books to claim money for products which were never imported. Hence, the removal of subsidy is a bitter pill that will later have visible benefits on the health of Nigeria. 2 Likes |
Celebrities / Re: ‘Being A Feminist Is Denying Many Women Of Having A Husband' - OAP Freeze by tushbobo(m): 10:17am On Jun 18, 2016 |
Being feminine makes a woman attractive. Being a feminist does not...While I believe all people deserve equal rights(black or white, man or woman), we have to understand our roles vary. Adam wasn't forced to eat the apple, but he did what the woman wanted. 3 Likes |

write2obi: @ write2obi, lack of adherence to standards is what is killing us in all aspects of life. I can't believe you are arguing that someone who has handled many jobs shoddily should be given a chance... TO PROVE WHAT EXACTLY?? To build defective buildings that will kill people? In case you don't know this type of behavior doesn't grow overnight... It has been established(it's a habit) and getting rid of it is no ordinary task. I am disappointed when I see builders on this forum proudly showcasing workers with no PPE (no safety boots, helmets, etc). Not to mention this level of unprofessional conduct. The developed world just constantly laughs at our ignorance because of people like you. 6 Likes |
Properties / Re: Interior Architecture In Nigeria Is Very Bad by tushbobo(m): 6:40pm On Jun 15, 2016 |
AlphaHandMaiden: You are right. Its the same technology with thermally broken glass which allows zero heat exchange between the exterior and interior of buildings. We don't have these stuff mostly due to lack of production. Once a country stops producing, it affects the economy and all other sectors. |

While I respect Jonathan, his personality is not suited for leading a country like Nigeria. Google Venezuelan economic crisis and check out other countries that solely depend on oil. They are having similar problems with what we face now. |
