I first reported to the office and found out 2 parents had also had their children complain of the teacher changing their names to a mocking one .I'm not a fool .I know when its
teasing and when one has gone overboard.

Whether of was a joke or tease,it was nipped in the bud and afterwards both are good .My son even topped the class and won a gift from her.He's now in an upper class.

I have a friend that I call big head sometimes, so will u call that bullying? What I am trying to say is that calling big head isn't an insult, it could even be a joke, although the child may take it as an insult. I was tall from my youth days and I have been called names like iroko, longitude and so on, will I count that as bullying? So refer to someone as big head isn't bullying to me.

Went to his school the next day and met the teacher.Imagine she telling me "ask other boys in my class I call all of them big head.How can she ridicule a male when she's been praying for one(has 4 girls as I later discovered)"

My son insisted right before her that it was only him she called thatand me I warned her seriously. That was how the shit ended.

I know where to draw the line but I will not accommodate any act that will affect my kids self esteem.

I am not trying to support the teacher but I don't really see big head as an insult. He may have done something wrong and instead of punishing him or caning him she called him big head. People have different tolerance level, so teacher should also watch what they call students. Sometimes they may just be playing with the student. For example I call my sister olodo, but it is not like I truely mean it

I support him. Barella was in the top 30 best players in the world. He scored only 3 goal in Italian league last season and has scored only 2 dis season even Pedri that only shined in confederation cup entered. But mane didn't enter that same list. Sterling that is alway on the bench made the list. But surprisingly the number 2 keeper in the world couldn't.

That's my school.
So it is till today,and in all the missionary schools around my area.

there are still schools out there that don't do expo, but 80 percent of schools in Nigeria are involved in expo. Most especially private schools.

Waec in Nigeria is full of expo. The schools are more corrupt than apc and pdp. Waec should be scrapped and replaced with jamb or a more competent exam should be introduced.

don't generalize if u haven't gone to all high institution. In my school funaab, we don't buy handout or textbooks. They give us pdf or the document to read.

I can't forget the day I was forming baddo that can finish anything. So I prepare three indomie super pack, fried plantain, also added two fried egg. I could even eat half even with an empty stomach, I had to bury the rest. Now I don't cook more than 2 super pack

In as much as it was totally wrong for the boy to assault his lecturer, but we can't act like some lecturers don't deserve some ass whooping.
You that you're reading this, I'm sure you can mention at least 5 lectures/teachers you wish you can Panel beat. Sentiments aside!
Lots of lecturers have made life a living hell for students.
There is more to this story and I don't think the boy will just randomly start beating the lecturer for no reason. This is a 400level student we are talking about. He must have been severely pushed to the wall before risking everything and then attacking the lecturer. He is a human after all and his emotions may have gotten the best of him, thereby making him overreact.
The case should be adequately heard and appropriately judged without bias, regardless of the parties involved.
But, the guy would definitely have to receive some sort of punishment for assaulting a staff and fighting on premises. He shouldn't have done that. I do NOT support him assaulting her.From the way she was crying and shouting, you'll know the guy really did a number on her. The guy should have just continued to endure till he will get the certificate he came for and leave the school. It's not going to be easy, but it's the smart decision.

I understand where u are coming from, but the guy is totally wrong. What he just did is like beating your own parent for insulting u or an elder in your community. His own is finished in that school, there is no fair judgement because all the people that will hear the case would on gang up on him.
