agisky1975:You have said the truth, right from the beginning I knew ABU was at fault, what LSE and Harvard did is not exceptional that is what ABU should have done if they don't have anything to hide. Most likely is 'graduation' was controversial and ABU wanted it to pass away. Is name is not in any graduation list and may not have been approved or gone through the registrar. Apart from that, I think, Sahara knew someone close to Dino or a government agency that investigated him that came to the conclusion that is graduation was not properly recorded. I won't be surprise if Sowore had all this information already but decided to go for the big headline. |
sean1000x:It is obvious you have a problem, I just hope you get better. Have a nice day |
sean1000x:The problem is that you have to look at the requirements for becoming a Law professor, back in the 80's in law and medicine do not need a Phd. |
Nigeria likes unnecessary drama, just like the Melaye one, what it takes if for the authorities to know how to do the job. Where will the water come from if you don't provide people water?. If they use borehole, the environmental authorities should test the water every month. In U.S there is a compliance division, all they have to do is set the minimum standard of water content in bottling plants and inspect it every month. Then you have a reasonable business-gov relationship. |
Deprofessional:I will try in clear terms in an unscientific manner. It is called major depressive disorder. The truth is that the cause is not known but I lean towards genetics, depression is more like something that is sleeping within the body, it is something you may have but an event is what usually triggers it/wakes it up. Stress, bad relationships, business failure, money issues, abuse/bullying are things that can trigger depression. I believe it is strongly related to genetics,(doctors say 40% of cases) but it depends on the environmental, physical and social conditions which triggers the inherent genetic disorder. stress can trigger it, many people in school get depressed because of stress. If you are genetically vulnerable, your ability to withstand stressful situations without falling into depression is much lower than the average person. |
This is the first time I will say it but I think Abuja was a mistake. They should have reduced the size and give the rest to states, it is costing more money and will continue as it expands what we needed was a capital city not a capital state |
ganye1:Thank you, you see in this country many of us are pretenders. When Ali was nominated am sure one of the DCG's and ACG's would have quietly filed a petition but at that time, the senate leadership could not care, what suddenly happened that they are insinuating his appointment is illegal, a statement that indicts them also. Am beginning to believe sahara that something like the car thing happened and saraki decided to dust old petitions. It becomes an issue that is less about Nigerian/s and more about the people involved. |
ipreach:The story get k-leg, if sahara makes an allegation, they should request prove from the university, Sahara claimed to have requested prove. The truth is that ABU is the one that can clear the air and should be blamed, it is not sahara's fault that they requested for his certificate especially since his purported graduation get kleg, student leaders get into this types of problem but usually resolved after a while. But it is in ABU's court now. |
Abeg this guys PR is way too much, it is infuriating and I don't why some are not tired of it. Instead of him to find a formal way to register poor people, know how much they earn, know their jobs and find ways to improve those jobs and provide for people in equity. The only thing bubbling in Ekiti is Ado. |
Buhari needs to listen to different views instead of Mamman Daura's own. Kyari is not special even worse could be corrupt. The guy made his career under Daura at Africa International Bank also known as BCCI, Nigeria which is not something to be proud of. Daura may be smarter than Buhari, setting himself up to have access and a say in what goes on. |
If APC can get 40% of the vote in the south with Buhari, even if old and sick, they may win again. |
It should depend on the law in the books of customs. They should have created a new position for him or made him administrator to bypass such things. The military used to appoint sole administrators for things like this. |
byrron:JFK is a rough place for Nigerians. Always ready to check bag for food and sometimes if they catch a drug dealer, visitors/immigrants 'from Lagos on this line', then start checking bags. I think it is serious but they have to come out and tell us what is going on, how many were deported and work with the state department in U.S. |
The truth is adeosun is not a bad choice is she knows are onions. a lot of the ministries accounts are not balanced and probably their finances are a mess. Their liabilities are much more than is appropriated in a year. The single issue of owing contractors is not a simple one but highly complicated especially with high interest rate. Most ministries like to pay contractors less than 75% of total contract amount(so technically, they owe hundreds of billions) and the payment can be over two years. If you are asked to bid for a job the least you can reasonably bid is 100% over the non financing cost/cost of materials. first thing is a loan from the bank for two years can be over 50% and remember they will only pay between 70-75% of total sum. The result, a lot of the contracts are technically over-inflated because the cost of doing business is high. federal government do not spend much on capital budget. So the impact of capital budget is favorable to the banks but the impact on the people is less than the dollar figures because of corruption, cutting corners to reduce cost and cost of doing business. Budget padding just continues to mess up the finances and it a bad advice although reasonable in an inefficient and corrupt system because the overall impact of the capital budget on constituencies is negligible. |
Searching for something and I found this, stupid, hilarious, racist, hateful but sadly to my own disappointment had some truth. Wherewithal Nigeria? http://www.icwa.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/DER-41.pdf |
so why 510, the structure of the economy is weak, second there is virus inside teh structure, if you fight the virus greed, it will affect the economy but it will benefit it in the long run because greed as actually contributed more to the weakness of the economy and it is taking increasing share of economic activity. third oil price is weak |
1. The economic direction of the country is heavily invested in oil, if the price of oil go down, the government consciously or unconsciously may try to let the naira slide to make it up in an artificial way even though inflation rises and the naira becomes more worthless. 2. The economic activity in the country is geared towards the service sector, so funds are used to finance trade, real estate and imports. It can bey okay if your economy is strong and respected but if not, an oil price slide will leave few dollars banks to fund imports. 3. the political and corporate institutions are not strong, so people/investors are not investing more than they should/could in the economy, so the economy is driven by consumption and government spending at a rate not sustainable without some level of increasing private investment spending in the country. So the level of investment cannot sustain employment for the increasing population in the short and medium term. 4. greed. It is a virus that spreads promoting accumulation of capital without the necessary commensurate level of productivity in the economy. So leaders, politicians, contractors, bankers, people want to acquire money without taking risk, investing in the economy but plundering, this extends to yahoo yahoo and fraud. So a virus, such as greed has been hidden as a determinant of economic growth, but it is a virus and can upturn the economy because it contributes little to employment for a large number of people. Greed comes in the form of fraud, corruption, manipulation, stealing etc. this is one of the major factors to accumulate wealth but not sustainable because it is a virus and actually sucks the life out of the economy |
next time choose the word The problem, it shows that you are actually talking to an audience that has reason and think with their heads |
TonyeBarcanista:nobody insinuated that, just that you think not with empathy for others but just looking our for yourself |
There is no mmm here, they are part of Nigeria, what you have is a troubled country in which the elements and people fail to put themselves out of the quagmire. You see the, the reputable culture, behaviours and values, of the people, the objectivity of the institutions, the objectivity of the non governmental institutions will do more than those three will ever do. |
You seem to be full of yourself, how many times did you cum after reading your post 25 times. |
The guy is on the short end, it would have been better to talk to her not to print the book. Unless, he has money to spend on lawyers and bribe the register and judges to expedite the case, the case can last 10 years in high court and appeal court. Also, the best he can do is win compensation, the book will be published, however, if toke can prove the contents to be true then 10 yeas in court which at the compesation if he wins may not be more than lawyers fees. |
Nigerian culture which has always followed the line between dated and modern is now encouraging a viral form of sadism, usually expressed online with ethnic colouration. The leaders have done a number on the people. Sowore's arrest has nothing to do with anybody, his actions never targeted the poor or the middle class but the rich and political class. But in an era of Saraki and Ekweremadu Nigeria as a joke still continues but the sad thing is that the same Nigerians will laugh with glee as their country falls. He never wire tapped anyone, his information are given freely by journalists and sources without a gun pointed to their heads. Official secrets are not linked, but because we are stupid, simple thing like transparency and how money is spent is now official secret, but yet we must fight corruption. This viral form of sadism creeping in is weak but it it tells the story of Nigeria, while the country is falling, we will be drinking stout and shagging each other, never notice the shit at the driveway. |
This is just low, how many fake news are coming next |
to the OP if you believ go and help them now or just to satisfy your your hatred? |
Is it fake news season, I don't blame them, the BS they are fed daily from politicians and nairaland create more appetite. |
I sincerely doubt this news. Buhari has mentioned a few times why he was removed and not this explanation |
0neal:The problem parse is not just tithe, it is the philoosphy of the only way to receive blessings is through funding the church and the pastor. It is flawed Christian or even religious wise because it negates the issue that if you pay 10% to the church and the pastor receives 10% you are both rich or going to be richer and the poor, neighbor/country are meaningless in the equation. Even in the original Jewish laws there was a tithe for the poor. In addition, it negates the idea that greed could play a further role, how much do they need to survive and how much do the society need to survive, do they need an extra plane or does Otta need an extra road |
In my opinion the whole thing is being used for selfish gains. The idea is simlar in many religions including hindu who believe in karma/reincarnation. But I think many Christian pastors are using it for their own personal and even Church gains. It is more related to a Jewish/old testament philosophy than newtestament/Christ philosophy and even in the Jewish religion where many believe in stuff like that it is 10% for charity or less priviledged not for the church or priest, same thing is similar in hindu and islam. The idea is more like helping other who have less increase your wealth. The new Christian philosphy of sowing seed, likely starting from Southern U.S preachers and manipulating the old testament to fund church growth, I suspect it is more like a marketing idea to fund the Church and now being abused by pastors to fund their personal lifestyle. A lot of it is based on charitable giving. |
