Heyzee5: One guy just quit domaining on namepros!!! Very funny!!! https://www.namepros.com/threads/i-quit-domaining.1084771/ His reason: Domaining is almost the same as playing lotto. I quit. Year started domaining: 2016 Number of domains registered: about 40 Total spent on domains: +- $300 Number of domains sold: 1 (in 2017) Total amount made in 2 years: $400 Profit: $100
This business can be frustrating at times but I must stay until I make my own money from it!!!!! Pretty much my story, although I have been around for longer and registered more names. I had to run away for about a year thinking it was all a scam. I returned - just as someone said on the NP thread that many people do - when I saw even guys that appeared to be newer reporting sales here on Nairaland. Made my first sales, but none has been more than 199 bucks. This is why I sometimes called those reporting sales here the lucky ones. It takes more than knowing what names to register and how to compose mails to succeed, I must say. The money I paid someone here on Nairaland on my return to domaining didn't make any difference. The filters I had come up with from research for expired domain names were even better than what I was provided with. I felt I wasted money, but it was a token. Such is life, and my luck. |

Only Goodness knows what I'm doing in a country like this one. Too many tribalistic bigots everywhere! An issue will arise and in no time you'd see some saying Ibo this, Afonja that. And sadly, many people will like such annoying comments. Tje future looks gloomy for the country if this is how its people think. You'd still see these awful comments in instances where people, especially politicians, do something bad, rather than condemning the act. Only God knows... Money do me strong thing o. |

godmercy15: Thanks for your frankness. It is true that the aforementioned formula is not as simple, however, whenever someone has been able to identify his/her challenge(s) then an end to it is in sight. What this means is that you need quality education to demystify those grey areas you find challenging in your trading. People are very money conscious and that is why they keep chasing one software or the other so that they can make money fast. But I have a contrary view, I believe whatever someone wants to do, he must be educated thoroughly in that particular thing in order to excel. My friend, that is why I am organizing a meeting between intending traders/professional traders who want to improve their trading and a veteran forex trader who has spent over 40 years of his life trading currency to expose these people to success formula trading Fx in 10 hours. After these sessions with him, you will never be the same again because you will begin to trade with confidence and no more guessing in your trading decisions. What will be the cost implication, please? |

Business › Re: CBN To Unveil Naira-Yuan Swap Deal Operational Framework Next Week by U1(m): 10:28pm On May 27, 2018 |
dryakson: IN CASE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND
I know Most of You don't know the meaning of Nigeria naira/yuan swap with China.. And why American government is desperately smoothing their relationship with Nigeria.
This is a clearer picture of the deal and it's effects on our economy and way of life.
Soon, you may be buying that techno phone you bought at N80,000 for N12, 000 .
The Central Bank of Nigeria have finally signed the currency swap deal we have been expecting for the past 2 years with the Chinese government.
The importance of this is that since almost 70% of the goods we import come from China and Asia and only about a meagre 12% come from America, why must we use Dollars to transact with China?
Thus, with the new deal, instead of using dollars at N350 to 1dollar to import those goods, we can now buy Yuan at 47 naira to 1 Yuan and import those stuffs directly. Therefore, Instead of buying these goods in dollars in China, we will now buy them in Yuan at 5 times cheaper than their dollar rates.
Meanwhile, it should be noted that China is now the highest importer of our crude. This means that our trade with them can be on Naira/Yuan basis.
This is a giant stride that our media needs to disseminate. It's a great achievement by this administration in its effort at repositioning our economy.
This may be a reason why our past selfish leaders may not want Buhari to continue in office to protect their families who are beneficiaries of high forex rate.
Of course, with d new deal, d demand for dollars will nose dive, with an attendant crash in its price. From tomorrow, try to monitor exchange rate. Some of those guys who hoarded foreign currencies to make gains will off load them in order not to have heart attack over their huge loss arising from the currency swap deal with china. Dollars and pounds will flood everywhere with no buyers, as the buyers will draw naira from their accounts in banks with presence in China.
Many NIGERIA banks will be seeking to have their representative office in China like first bank who saw to the future and already have office in China. Inflation will go down drastically because of the price of commodities that will drop. Commendable attempt there at making people understand the implication of the deal. But I must say you over-simplified the entire idea. I wouldn't have had any reservations about your estimations if you indicated you assumed other factors to remain constant. You didn't. The fact is that other factors don't always remain constant. Theories aren't always equal to what we see in reality, especially when talking about human behavior. In the best case scenario, I'd be surprised if an 80k Tecno device sold less than 50k. The many mini-importers we see around may also not necessarily benefit from that deal. The big-time players are more likely to benefit if things go as expected. |

godmercy15: Forex trading is a good career and very profitable and you can be in this business till you are very old. But the other side of the story is that it is highly risky but which business on earth is not risky? However, if you go through a good Fx education which includes a good risk management then you can have a successful trading and making 100% p.a. is a great possibility.Trust me when I say this, trading is not easy. But with the right information and persistence you can have the best job in the world that could maximize the time invested to money earned ratio. Trading is really a simple formula, follow these 5 steps and you will be golden. 1. Find high probability entry opportunities 2. Enter with a super small risk 3. Caluclate your targets or where the market should go 4. Follow a business plan and don’t deviate from it! 5. Repeat! Thanks! But I must that formula isn't as simple as you may think. The first and third steps are the seemingly difficult part. I have been asking around for help on those. Seems I still have a lot to learn and I'm confused about where to start. |

Business › Re: Building A Sustainable Wealth Through Online Trading by U1(m): 3:26pm On May 24, 2018 |
JerryQ: At times it will be wise to tell the whole side of a story. Forex trade is a risky business, that's is why the brokers tell you to only invest money you can afford to lose. Over 90 percent of trades lose money regularly. It's difficult to see a successful trader with a successful trade history of one year on a real account. Most people that survive the market do so trading on very low risk, meaning they are okay with say 100 percent profit yearly. Do not get into forex trade with a mind that you will be a millionaire in the next 5years from trading except you do so by deceiving people into paying you huge for trainings.
In summary, it is not as most people paint it. It can be very time demanding and at the end very unprofitable. Before you believe any forex guru, ask them to give you an investor's password of their live account so you see if they are profitable. Also ensure the account is at least one year old in history. Someone just came telling me he gave one of these so called gurus $5000 account. He has received a margin call from his broker as the account is about to crash. How. Many forex traders in Nigeria built a house from their trades? Most of them are just training people on what hasn't worked for them and collecting terrible fees. I wonder how they live with such deceits. Most forex traders I know of are in serious debts. They can't go to some cities because of the wrongs they have done.
I sincerely advice you, find another business and do. When you have good capital, give it to reputable hedge fund companies to manage if you must do something related to forex. I know some persons will start the abuse, before you do please drop your investor password let's see your account. I started trading forex over 10 years now and sincerely yours, it was not what we were told at First. Well stated, sir. I have heard both awful and awesome stuff about this Forex stuff. I can actually make do with 100% p.a. What must I do and how advanced must I be to earn such? Please help. |

benniali: Anyone know more about www.Donnieallen. and his betting tips and if they really are fail proof? Guy, abeg park well. You don't really need an answer. Or does this thread look like the best place to get an answer? You know what you are doing, and some of us do, too. Stop trying to derail this thread! japty: When i do outbound, the first process is to search the domain using whois. Sometimes It is hidden, sometime it is visible. I recommend you use ICANN whois search. You can see some hidden contact through that.
The second process is to search the domain website itself. Sometimes emails may be in the about page, contact page, team page or even individual profiles. Also there is nothing wrong in using the website contact page itself (You don't have to worry much about spam).
Another method is to use Hunter.io to search for emails relating to a domain. Hunter.io has proved itself useful for me in recent times.
One more tool i recommend is mailtester.com. It allows you to check the validity of a particular email. Example: if you couldn't get a contact using the above methods, you can just google (or LinkedIn) the company for its CEO or founder. When you've gotten the name of the person, you can try guessing the person's email.
If the CEO's name is steve and the domain is example.com, open mailtester.com and try a wide range of formats. E.g steve@example.com, stevepatrick@example.com, steve.patrick@example.com, stevep@example.com, s.patrick@example.com etc....
or you could even do a google search using the following parameters - "*@endusersdomain.com" the (*) stands for all emails
Hope that works for you!!!
Happy Sunday to you too I must say you are a real pro! You sure have some tricks in your bag. Thanks! On the side, I'd like to know if you do use your real name (as you have it in WHOIS) when sending mails to potential end users. |

I greet all the forex enthusiasts in here. Please I need your view on a couple of things.
1. Could you name brokers you have used in the past year without issues?
I have spent hours since Friday trying to get the right one (not like I'm putting a lot of money yet), but I haven't been able to make up my mind. I'm considering Pepperstone and/or Tickmill. But the latter informed me my account will be protected by some regulator in Seychelles. That doesn't sound awesome.
I have heard scary stories of some brokers widening spread suddenly and wiping accounts. That's a reason I want to get my choice right.
2. Do you think it's worthwhile subscribing to a harmonic pattern scanner that requires monthly payment? (Would be awesome if I can find someone to take me under his tutelage, actually).
Please your opinions are needed. Thanks in anticipation. |
